How to resolve Update installation issues for Photoshop CS6

I keep getting install error u44m1u5 when attempting to install Photoshop camera raw update 7.2 How do I resolve this? I also get same error code for adobe bridge cs6 5.0.1.1 update and extension manager 6.0.4 update. Adobe application manager also reports error code u44m1p210 along with these others. I am running Win 7 sp1 64 bit and my Photoshop CS6 version is identified as 13.0.1.

This link took me to location where I chose the appropriate version of Bridge update and it worked. My verion was updated to 5.0.1.23

How do I start the script for Photoshop CS6 in Bridge CS6 image processor ?

I am new to Bridge and I am lookiing for a way to batch process images. I opened 'preferences' and did not find Photoshop CS6 under the script list. How do I open and run the image processor? Thanks for any help!!

I have clicked on 'tools' within Bridge but there is no 'Photoshop' in the drop-down menu.
Misread your post a bit and see you want the image processor, however, this should be in the same location as the Batch option. If you don't have Photoshop in that list it means the start up script is not active or not installed properly.
First check Bridge preferences / Start up scripts and see if Photoshop is listed inhere and has a checkmark in front. If no checkmark then set it to on, restart Bridge and try again. If no Start upScript at all first try restart Bridge holding down option key (Mac) or ctrl (Win) and choose reset preferences.
If still no luck try a reinstall of PSCS6 to also reinstall Bridge again. (you first have to uninstall PSCS6, be sure to have a back up of custom settings etc).

Photo RAW update installation problems for Photoshop CS5

I have Photoshop CS5. I was trying to import some photos taken with my Nikon D3200, but it said that it didn't recognize the camera. I then tried to d/l the update, but after almost finishing the installation, it would say that it couldn't install all the parts, and try again later. I did but with no luck. Anyone have this problem?

CS 5.5 installation issues for photoshop and indesign

I have recently had my computer rebooted with a new hard drive and windows 7. therefore ive needed to re-install 5.5 creative suite. I would run System Restore to a point before the installation attempt to get rid of any bad registry entries, then run the cleaner tool for good measure: CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3
After that I'd try running MSconfig and turn off all non-essential startup programs (especially malware and anti-virus scanners and third-party firewalls) and non-essential services, then re-boot. Ignore the warning about Diagnostic mode and run the Installer again. You can re-run MSconfig after install to restore normal startup.

I am going to install 9iAS 9.0.2.0.1 on Solaris 5.8, and noticed something in the installation guide ((iAS release Notes Addendum p2-13) saying
"Oracle9iAS does not support changing hostname and ip after installation"
My questions are:
1. My server is behind firewall, the hostname is ONLY available inside the firewall, How can my customers get access from outside of the firewall? Is it possible to chnage the hostname in this respect?
if so could you provide me more info?
2. Does it means I have the use the exact same hostname in my URL (like http://HOSTNAME_1.domain_1:1810 ) as in the hosts ot nodename files? For this example the hosts/nodename files looks like this:
123.234.0.56 HOSTNAME_1.domain_1 HOSTNAME_1 mid_tier_host

Student and teacher design standard installation issues for photoshop

I recently purchased a STUDENT AND TEACHER LICENSING package: ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 5.5 DESIGN STANDARD. I installed everything and everything opens and works except Photoshop. When I try to open it it says, "Some of the application cxomponents are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application."
I have reinstalled it twice now but there is no change. Why is this happening? How can I fix it? I just paid ~250 and I need Photoshop. Illustrator and InDesign are working just fine. Please help.

You have permission issues on some of the plug-ins and the system libraries they are calling. A classic. Check file permissions on your plug-ins folder, especially on the performance extension (MMX plug-in and that)...

How do you download different Brushes for Photoshop CS6?

Place the *.abr files into:
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Brushes where X is the version number for your version of Photoshop.
Brushes created in Photoshop 7 or later will not work in earlier versions of Photoshop. Any Photoshop brushes should work in Photoshop 7 and later.
From the Brushes Palette in Photoshop, click the small arrow in the upper right corner of the palette, and choose load brushes. The brushes will be added to the current brushes.

Failed installation: How to rerun Adobe Application Manager updates for Photoshop CS6

Hi.
The installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 failed - while 2 others update for Photoshop CS6 did intall. I was installing Adobe Reader X .
That's why I discovered the notication from the application manager about updates for CS6 - and I just confirmed that as well.
Apparently the Reader installation blocked only the update installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - saying another installation process was running ... such stuff happens sometimes.
However, it seems Adobes Application Manager update module does not track its failed installations? It does not automatically advertise that update has not been installed and notifiying me again to install it. At least not immediately ...
So how do I rerun the Adobe Application Manager update moduel to check for updates manually?
