How to resolve "Your Trial Has Expired" message when launching InDesign CS6

Hello, just joined the Creative Cloud via the "Free" option.  The Adobe Application Manager downloaded and installed after which I was presented the list of Adobe Products which I could "Try" for the 30-day trial period.  After installing InDesign CS6 for trial, I'm getting a "Your Trial has Expired" message when I launch InDesign C6.
My PC environment is: Windows 7 Pro - SP1 (x64 bit)
I do have Adobe Acrobat X installed (with Enfocus PitStop v10 plugin)
Any thoughts as to what is causing this error??
How do I resolve it??

Hi MickyRatz,
If the trial version indicates as being expired then it has expired. There is no way to extend the trial.
You can find more details at Adobe trial software expired early -http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/trial-software-expired-early .html.

  • How do I block the "Your trial has expired" messages?

I have a fully paid non-Creative Cloud version of CS6 but keep being told that my non-existent trial of the cloud service has expired. I have no need of Creative Cloud, have never knowingly applied for it, and don't want to subscribe. The only Adobe help I've found directs me to update Adobe Application Manager and then sign in with my "Creative Cloud Adobe ID". Not what I want.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the response, Bob.
Since posting I searched further and finally found the probable answer — a software patch. It's available by going to Photoshop's Help menu and choosing Updates.
I found mention of the update by following a link from another discussion on the issue. I add the link here to spread the word: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2013/01/photoshop-13-0-413-1-2-updates-now-available.htm l
My copy of Photoshop is behaving since I applied the link last night.

  • ColdFusion Builder Beta trial has expired message - what to do?

I downloaded the Beta 2 yesterday and attempted to install it (I had already been using the original ColdFusion Builder Beta for months).  I couldn't tell if it actually changed anything because in the About section, it didn't mention Beta 2 anywhere.  Today, I received a "your trial has expired" message while writing code, but I could still modify code and save to my servers (color-coded formatting had been deactiviated).
I uninstalled Adobe Coldfusion Builder, then re-installed the Beta 2, but now when I launch the software I receive the "trial expired" message.  I'm using a Windows XP machine.
In the end, I no longer can use Adobe ColdFusion Builder beta, nor can I purchase the actual software (which I plan on doing).
Does anyone have any advice / suggestions?  I need SFTP support, so I guess I could go back to Aptana, but I'd prefer to have ColdFusion Builder.

    Hi,
The Public Beta 2 is not supposed to expire now.
If you haven’t already updated to the latest release(Public Beta 2), you might notice that public beta 1 expired on October 15th. You can download the latest public beta 2 directly from Adobe Labs at:
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/coldfusionbuilder/
So I would request you to first check if you have the latest bits.
However if your Public Beta 2 also says 'expired' try doing this.
    1. Uninstall the current version.
    2. Delete the location of your CFB install, By default it will be Program Files/Adobe/Adobe ColdFusion Builder . So you will have to take a back up of any project files and delete this folder.
    3. Re-install the latest bits from : http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/coldfusionbuilder/
Note: For Eclipse install use the -clean option.
Do let us know if this doesn't help.

  • My Adobe trial for Photoshop Elements 10 for the Mac was over and I wanted to buy the application. The screen message was "Your trial has expired...but the fun doesn't have to end! Buy now to continue using Photoshop Elements 10 without having to download

My Adobe trial for Photoshop Elements 10 for the Mac was over and I wanted to buy the application. The screen message was "Your trial has expired...but the fun doesn't have to end! Buy now to continue using Photoshop Elements 10 without having to download or re-install. " and then the button "Buy Now". When I hit the Buy Now button I am put in a field to buy Photoshop Elements 13, with no way to change to Elements 10. I do not want to go through the hassle of reinstalling etc. In fairness, it's been over a month since making the decision to buy. Still, I consider this a nightmare. Any ideas on how to buy the app I've got withou having to purchase a whole new one? Thanks.
If worse comes to worse, will I need to uninstall the trial if I buy a new version? Can I use part of it lime download assistant?

Adobe does not sell older versions of their software.  If you wish to purchase an older version you will have to find and take your chances with a third party vendor.

  • Acrobat subscription edition gives message "your trial has expired"

Yesterday I bought a month to month subscription to Acrobat Pro but I'm having trouble with it. I had previously downloaded and installed a trial, and the trial had expired. That's why I bought the subscription. So I re-downloaded and re-installed Acrobat Pro from the "download" link on page of my account that lists my purchases, but when I run it it still says "Your trial has expired". The install date on Acrobat shows today's date, so it's not the old installation but the new one that is giving this message. Am I doing something wrong?

I found the solution in another post. Just fill in email address and password and subscription is recognized.

  • My trial version lasted only 1 hour. When I try to edit a photo I get a "Trial has expired message"

    My trial version lasted
only about 1 hour. When I try to edit a
photo I get a message "Your Trial has expired" and it asks for my license key. How do I get 30 days of trial?

I changed some dates on some photos.
I think that is when my Trial expired. I deleted Photoshop Elements 8 and reloaded it. My trial was still expired. I have since purchased the product. Thanks for your help.

  • Creative Cloud subscription, "your trial has expired."

I have been a Creative Cloud subscriber for more than a year, yet each time I start up an application I am told, "your trial has expired." Each time for each application it seems I must "click license this software" and then go through the log in process before I go to work.
    Why? This is really frustrating!

    Eshant_Jinda,
The problem above came back for the past two months (seems like after the monthly renewal kicks in). I also keep getting a notification in my Windows Action Center that says, "Complete your Adobe ID profile and register your products." I've gone over my registration info comprehensively. I don't see any information missing.
Each time it is, I've got an idea. I want to turn it into something and I have to deal with this BS yet again. This may seem like minor irritation, but it speaks to me that Adobe doesn't value me as a customer.
I'l appreciate any help you can give. Thank you.

And here we go again. Except today we are stuck in an endless loop as the validation screen keeps appearing for 20 seconds and then going away.

  • "Your Trial has Expired" but subscriber for months!

I am unable to use any software in the CS6 Master collection. On opening it says that my trial has expired.
When I click license this software (and log in) it asks for a license key (but i have a subscription).
I checked the status of my subscription and it is active, 2 days until next billing period.
Any thoughts how I can get this working?
    Thanks,
    Matt

I have managed to get it to recognize my subscription by doing the following:
    1) Launch "Adobe Creative Cloud Connection"
    2) Login with account
    3) Launch an app (e.g. Photoshop CS6)
    4) Click "License this software"
    5) It now comes up with login form for adobe cloud (instead of the license key it was doing previously).
Hopefully this will help some others that got the same problem.

Have renewed my ExportPDF Subscription, have the confirmation email, but still pop's up with "Your trail has expired" window when go to convert via Print driver window. Comments/ help welcome thanks :-)

    Hi azza675,
ExportPDF converts PDF files to Word and Excel formats (and several others). What you describe, sounds like you're trying to convert a file *to* PDF. Did you ever start a trial of Acrobat, perhaps? (Whereas you can create PDFs with Acrobat, ExportPDF doesn't let you convert files to PDF.)
What happens when you log in directly to ExportPDF at https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf?
    Best,

  • Your trial has expired, I have a monthly subscription but photoshop is asking for a key, what gives?

I have a valid monthly subscription to photoshop/Lightroom.
I keep getting this message when launching photoshop cc.  Lightroom works fine.
I uninstalled everything via the adobe uninstaller, I ran the adobe cc cleaner and rebooted.
I then reinstalled adobe create cloud and installed both lightroom and photoshop AFTER signing in, they were both installed from the creative cloud menu.  It says my programs are both up to date, yet when I launch Photoshop I get the trial has expired page, I click "License this software" sign in with my valid adobe ID email, hit "sign in" and it keeps prompting for a license key.  I was NEVER given a license key so what gives?
What is going on.....I'm getting very frustrated with this software, was working fine, have been using it for months now.
    OS: Mac OSX 10.9.2
    Please help......
    Thanks
    Ryan

There are no billing issues, I have checked it.
Adobe CC does not require serial number, to install & activate it, please go to www.creative.adobe.com .Download, install & activate it from there.
Please let me know if it is asking for serial number when you are trying to activate the CC.
    Do refer to: http://forums.adobe.com/message/6288501
In that case, you can follow http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/ccm-prompt-serial-number.html.
