How to restore Aqua buttons to Safari 3?

Is there a skinning program that can restore the Aqua-style buttons from Safari 2 into Safari 3?

My own instinct is that after I did the original 10.4.11 Combo Update, then downloaded a fresh copy of Safari 2 and began using it, that Safari 2 altered some files that were essential for Safari 3, so that Safari 3 can't access them anymore. (Although that doesn't explain why I was unable to use Safari 3 after reinstalling it. Perhaps the reinstall failed to alter the files back.)
Now I understand the problem. And it's not "minor". Safari 2 and Safari 3 are very different applications. Each integrates with other Apple applications (Mail, iTunes, iChat etc). Your actions have complicated/compromised the OS, which may lead to other problems as you continue to use the computer. 10.4.11 is designed to run Safari 3, not 2.
As I suggested in the previous post, best approach is to reinstall the OS. Archive/Install will preserve your present settings, plus create a new folder called "Previous Systems Folder". Inside, you'll find your 3rd party Library items, which you can move to the newly created Libraries. The remainder of the files in that folder can be trashed. If you haven't done so, read the linked article about A/I. Also, if you rather use Safari 2, then after the reinstall, only upgrade to 10.4.10, using this update.

The only way I think you can restore "Reading Lists" is if you have iCloud enabled.

How to restore the red/yellow/green buttons in safari

There was a problem with my mousepad last night and it was sending the cursor all over the place. Its corrected itself now but something happened while it was doing this. I was trying to close down safari (and fighting with the cursor) and the bar at the top of safari disappeared. along with it went the red, yellow and green buttons.
I have no idea how to get them back. I have tried to customise the toolbar but thats not the solution.
when safari is in full screen i now have just the address bar and bookmarks bar.
I'd really like to restore these buttons and get the title bar (with file, view etc) back. To access those currently i have to hover the cursor at the top of the screen. Its very annoying not to be able to see the time, remaining battery etc.
If anyone has any suggestions i'd really appreciete it!

Child deletedd safari app, how to restore this?

My daughter unfortunately deleted my safari app. I have looked everywhere on how to restore it, but everything applies to purchased apps. Anyone know how to restore Safari specifically?

Most likely, your daughter just removed the Safari app from the "Dock" at the bottom of the screen. This is easy to do if she held her finger on the app icon until it started to jiggle. When the app icons are jiggling, they can be rearranged by sliding them around or deleted by pressing on the "x". Fortunately, as Allan said, Safari is a built-in app and cannot be deleted. The Safari app is still on your phone, probably on the home screen or hidden among the other app icons in any of the other app screens.
To restore it to its previous location, you need to first find Safari in the middle of all the other apps, hold your finger on it until it starts jiggling, then slide the Safari icon down to the dock. Press the home button to stop the icons' jiggling and you're done.

I was trying to back up my phone using iTunes and not sure how, but the Safari is no more on my phone.
How do I restore / re-install the Safari App without having to restore my phone?
I have my work email configured and don't want to go through the configurations all over again and deal with the Support Personnel for that.

I somehow deleted my "back" button in Safari. How do I get it back?

Two issues: 1st: I want to know how to take a snapshot of something on my desktop.
2nd: In trying to remember how to take a snapshot I was just pushing buttons, willy-nilly, and somehow deleted my "back" button in Safari. How do I get that back?

It's not on my keyboard (that I know of). It's an arrow on the bar at the top of my safari screen. I'm supposed to be able to click the arrow to either go back to the previous page or go forward to the next page. But I deleted it somehow. And now I don't know how to get it back. I found a solution in someone else's post: Safari, View, Customize Tool Bar. I tried to do that but it doesn't work for me. I dragged the back arrows to my tool bar but they won't stay up there. What do I do now?

How to control what VoiceOver says when clicking a radio button in Safari?

I am developing a web page that I want to work in Safari & VoiceOver. Does anyone know how I can:
1) control what VO says when it is hovering over a radio button (ideally some alt text or title attribute)
2) control what VO says when I click a radio button in Safari (right now, it seems to say 'Group').
I have tried to put the radio buttons in a fieldset, tried tons of attributes in the input tag (including alt, title, desc, description), but nothing seems to change.

Turn on VoiceOver (try Cmd+F5), pull up the URL and hover over the 'letter' or 'large envelope' radio buttons, then click one of them. It says 'group'. I'd like it to say 'letter option selected' or something.

PS: I do know about the <label> tag. I've tried surrounding my <input> tag with a label and using <label for="someID">, but it doesn't seem to help.

Thank you for the suggestion...it does work and fires the event, but it is still not selecting the current record when I try to perform an Update or Delete.
I had to modify your code a bit in order for it work in JDev 10...used the JUCtrlValueBindingRef instead of the FacesCtrlHierNodeBinding.
