how do i retrieve back my deletd contact from nokia 6700c?
i dont have a back up file. can it be done?

What kind of backup? If it's a TM backup then open Address Book and select Address Book Help from the Help menu. Search for "restore from time machine." You'll find an article on how to restore entries from a TM backup.
If this is simply a cloned backup then navigate to the /Home/Library/Application Support/ folder on the backup drive and copy the AddressBook folder to the same location on your hard drive.
Then navigate to /Home/Library/Preferences/ and copy the com.apple.addressbook.plist and com.apple.addressbook.abd.plist files from the backup to the same location on your hard drive.
Address Book must not be running.

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer or cloud service regularly. Your contacts will be in whatever program/service that you have selected to sync.
If you have failed to sync them to your computer or cloud service, then they are gone.

Not sure exactly what I did differently, but somehow I got Address Book to display separate "iCloud" and "On My Mac" lists, and then I could drag and drop groups from "On My Mac" to "iCloud". The top keys (ok, green button, red button, ...) are not functioning anymore. This means I can enter my pin code, but I can't press ok! Which means that I can't enter my phone anymore. It's been like that for a week now and I'm getting desperate.
So my first question is: is there anything I can do about this?
Then my second question.. I have an old nokia, but when I put my SIM card and micro SD card in it, I don't get any messages, contacts, photos... I guess this means everything is stored on my phone and not on SIM or micro SD. Now, how do I get my contacts and messages etc on this old nokia phone that still works?
I already tried connecting it to my computer and using Nokia PC Suite, but it doesn't connect. I guess it's because I can't enter my pin code...
Can anyone please help me with both questions or at least the last question?

Glad you managed to get your contacts!
It's not possible to move the messages to the sim, I also don't think that model can move them to the memory card either. I think the only option is to move the messages to the computer (using PC Suite or Ovi Suite).
Odd that the buttons work again!

I have been syncing my phone with itunes from 3 days as I have bought a new macbook pro.
Suddenly yesterday due to some change of settings or I dont know what all my contacts got deleted.
I tried to restore back up by right clicking the iphone option in itunes but still after that i cant restore my contacts.
I am really worried and i dont have any back up of my contacts.
Is there any other way to restore my back up?

Try to backup with your old computer and your old iTunes put your contacts back to your iPhone. Aftervthat you sync with your new computer with right settings.
