How to restore the factory settings
The ap 3502i has been registered to the wireless controller, but now want to restore the factory settings, repeated after the upgrade or will appear before the registration information of the wireless controller, the problem how to solve
thanks
Two other ways besides what scott metnioned:
1. Through the MODE button:
- Power off the AP.
- While keeping the MODE button pressed, power on the AP.
- Still keep the MODE button pressed until the Status LED turns to red and then release it:
2. Via installing the recovery image:
- Download the recovery image for 3500 from Cisco site.
- on AP Console write the command "Debug capwap console cli".
- Then write the commadn "Archive download-sw /overwrite /reload tftp:///"

I've added ios6 to my new ipod but tried then to restore the factory settings. It won't extract any settings and the itunes then tells me that the server cannot be reached or is unavailable. I've been trying all day. Now the ipod has a itunes sign and a computer lead pointing towards it on the screen and this is frozen. It won't switch off or do anything else. Any ideas as this is now driving me crazy.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My daughter changed her passcode and can't remember it. We had not done a back-up in a while so I'm not sure what to do. Should I restore the factory settings?

HT201210 I need to restore the factory settings for my I phone
I need to restore the factory settings for my I phone
To restore your iDevice, you have two options.
1. Plug into iTunes and select your device and click restore.
2. On your iPhone, go to Settings>General>Reset, and click which one you would like to use.
If your device is locked up and you can't get into it,
1. Open iTunes
2. Power Down your Device
3 hold down your home button and plug in the device to the computer at the same time
4. Keep holding until your device shows the Plug into iTunes image.
5. On iTunes, click restore
Wait for the device to restore to factory settings and your done! -
i am having trouble restoring my ipod touch to factory settings...i am connected to the pc, pc is recognizing unit in restore mode, but will not do anything else...any suggestions?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all media and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device. -

You can't erase a volume while booted from it. Start up from the installation DVD, erase the volume, and reinstall.

HT2731 how do i restore the factory settings on ipod?
daugther put her password wrong 3 times. now blocked how do i restore factory settings?
If it's showing the red disabled screen then you will need to connect it to the computer that it's normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPod and restore/re-sync the content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPod into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. -
my son has forgotten his 4 digit pass code for hios i pod touch. i have been instructed to disable it and connect to i tunes to restore factory settings. when I do this the download time is anything up to 20 hours and it keeps timing out. it is now saying that i tunes cannot connect to the i pod because it is locked with a passcode and saying that i must enter the passcode - can anyone help?
- To get around the passcode issue, place the iPod in recovery mode. For how to see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
- If you are getting a network timeout error during the restore, disable the computer's security software during the restore. -

Is it possible to restore the factory settings just for the internet?
I am a student and I was having trouble logging in at my university. I called IT and they had me change all sorts of things under System Preferences - Network. They had me add a location and set the IP address manually. Now I am having trouble getting online anywhere else. I just want the network settings to be how they were when I got the computer 3 months ago and my ability to access technical support from apple just ended on Nov. 30 so I would really appreciate anyone's help.
Thanks!
ArielleJust tried this and it worked for me. Go into Network preferences and click the lock to allow you to make changes. Hit the minus key to delete all your different accounts. Once they are all gone you can add what you need back I usually use airport so that is the only one I brought back on line.

Will I have to restore the device?
Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
Then try restoring on another computer.
Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Is there a way to restore the "factory" settings in LR4
I changed the setting in file settings and image sizing when exporting to try to have better images on Facebook. Now I need to order a print that is 16x20 and the photo of choice can only be printed as a 5x7 or lower. How do I changed the settings back so I no longer have this issue. I've never had this issue until I changed the settings, I even checked older photos that were exported before the change and they can be ordered in any size.
DLP0807, I Would take a look at this excellent tutorial from David Marx:
http://thelightroomlab.com/2011/10/prepare-files-for-printing-at-a-photo-lab-using-adobe-p hotoshop-lightrooms-export-module/
It goes over all the steps you need to perform before sending a photo to be lab printed.

Do some photos get an album tag at import from iPhone?
I use Smart Album to find photos not organized into albums. But some freshly imported photos don't show up in it. Do they get an album from the import from iPhone? It's weird, about half of the photos in any given import will be this way.
