ive updated my iphone 4s to iosw 7 beta and now that the official version came out id like to uninstall it so ive put it in DFU mode to restore but i keep getting an error message PLEASE HELP and im not an apple developer also.

unfortunately no my older sister put it on my phone and in further research i found that you where supposed to beta apple developer and from then on ive been trying to take it off my phone

to restore make sure you have disabled passcode and disabled 'find my phone'. You dont have to enter dfu mode to restore

I have an ipad2 which I backed up on my computer. I copied all files from Itunes folder and ipad2 folder. Also did a backup using itunes. I have the iPad2,2 7.2 Restore.ipsw somewhere in my computer. Is there a way to restore my ios 7 (getting rid of the miserably non-functional ios8) from my backup? If so, how can I find it in my computer? what is the step by step restore procedure? Sorry, Apple does not support the downgrading of the iOS.
Even if you managed to find it on your computer, when your try to validate the install with iTunes it won't work because Apple only signs the current iOS.
I know iOS8 can take come getting used to, if you'd like to start another thread with our issues perhaps people here can suggest things that will help.

TRY FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

Restore iPod nano in DFU mode?

I have a 6th gen nano (received a few months back in the battery replacement programme for 2nd gen nanos) which suddenly stopped working. I have tried holding Power + Volume Down buttons to reset without success.
Holding down these buttons while it is connected to a mac causes it show up as a 'USB DFU Device' in System Profiler. It does not appear in the side bar in iTunes, but iTunes does give an error message: 'The iPod software update server could not be contacted. The server does not support this version of iTunes'. iTunes is up to date and I'm running ML on this machine. (Have also tried it under older versions on other macs with Lion and SL.)
I have read suggestions to erase the nano, but it does not mount on the desktop or appear as a device in Disk Utility under OS X, or show up as a recognized device on a Windows machine.
Any suggestions?

I had updated to 10.8 only a fortnight ago, but figured I'd give the suggestion a shot. Upon connecting the nano for the first time after reinstalling iTunes, it stayed on 'waiting for ipod' for a _long_ time before giving a new error message:
"An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again. An unknown error occurred (1601)."
Subsequent attempts to connect give the original error: 'The iPod software update server could not be contacted. The server does not support this version of iTunes'. It is still showing up in System Profiler as a USB DFU Device. Quitting and re-opening iTunes get it to display the error again, so it is seeing it, and recognizes that it needs to be restored, but can't process it for some reason.
Google turns up a lot of jailbreak stuff for error 1601; will sift through and report back if I find anything that makes a difference.

I thought it had something to do with my Apple ID, (I have .me, .mac, and now .icloud) but I corrected the iPad to match the iPhone - .mac seems to work on the phone, but the iPad still doesn't synch.

No matter how many times you ask this question, you will get the same answer. There is no way of overcoming the activation lock without the password. Either you need to know it or the previous owner must use it to remove the device from his/her ID. You can continue to waste your time and those of the volunteer users here, but you will never get your iPod to work without the cooperation of the original owner (who may or may not be the person who sold it to you).
