How to restrict plant and companycode

Hi all,
My requirement is
I have few questions on client requirement.
-     FI (AP/AR/AA/GL) u2013 4 years of data, all open items, for company code 0013, 0022
-     MM u2013 4 years of data for plants 0013, 0022
-     COPA data, fiscal year 2010 onwards for operating concern CORP and 0030
For COPA->Do I have to create 2 separate datasources one for each operating concern?
How and where to restrict plants for MM?
How and where to restrict Companycodes for FI?
Will that be at IP level?

Hi Harika,
I guess you need to write ABAP routine for multiple Single value restrictions in Infopackage level.
In Data selection tab, Type(as your requirement is to restrict the plant field with 2 fileds) select the type beside plant and select 6-ABAP Routine --> enter the routine name and write the logic.
Use this above method as a standard practise. But for your requirement, (since only two plants are involved) you shall use two rows of plant and restrict them.

SPRO-Enterprise StructureDefinitionPlant MaintenanceMaintain maintenance planning plant;
SPRO-Enterprise StructureAssignmentPlant MaintenanceAssign maintenance planning plant to maintenance plant;
A Maintenance plant in which the technical objects of a company are installed.
A Planning plant is a plant in which the maintenance tasks are planned and prepared.

How to save plant and lgort in BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA

I am trying to save de PLANT AND LGORT with the BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA, but no save it, i save all the material informations but the PLANT AND LGORT not appears in the table MARD,
this is the way how i fill the bapi for this sections.
wa_storagelocationdata-plant     = wa_itab-werks. "Value of Plant
wa_storagelocationdata-stge_loc = wa_itab-lgort. "value of LGORT
wa_storagelocationdatax-plant     = wa_itab-werks.
wa_storagelocationdatax-stge_loc = wa_itab-lgort.
in other structures with end with X, the field is mark with X but in this case the structures   wa_storagelocationdatax the fields PLANT AND STGE_LOC both are a CHAR 4 not a CHAR 1,
Somebody knows how to save this informations please..

The material group (MAKTL) restriction cannot be imposed directly via authorization for tcode MD04. Similar is the case restricting MIGO by vendor no.
The Tcode MD04 checks for auth onject M_MTDI_ORG
which restricts for only for
MRP Controller
Plant
Acctivity types in Materials
Similarly MIGO checks for the foll fields only in the concerned auth objects
Plant
Movement Type
Storage Location.
So thsi cannot be restricted via authorization concept normally.
However you may take the help of your basis /ABAPERs to explore the user exits /BADIs of the related programs.
Or your ABAPERS may help you in this regard by developing some customized reports to restrict the same.

How will the plant and storage location be determined automatically in PO

In ME21n, I have entered Vendor, Material and Qty; also the info record is maintained. Now if I save the PO, the plant and Sloc should be auto determined. Where will I have to maintain this information.
In master data the net SLOC for EP is maintained in MRP view.
The SLoc value is getting populated if I enter the Plant.
But I want that the Plant should also be auto populated. Please provide a solution.

You can create a Transaction Variant for creation of purchase order with your favorable plant.
Use T.Code :SHD0,enter the T. Code: ME21N and enter in Transaction Variant: ZME21N and later
confirm screen entry with your favorable plant to proceed further.
Now create purchase order with ZME21N and find your your favorable plant

How to restrict values and apply condition for a characteristic in a query.

Hi,
I have to add two customer class(characteristic) fields to my query which is available as a navigational attribute in my multiprovider ( from which my query is built ).
One field should give the values directly from master data. The values would be PV, CV, IT, OT. The other field should give only PV and CV based on the condition - Except CV, all others (ie. IT and OT) should be converted as PV.
I like this to be achieved in the query level since i dont want to disturb the underlying cubes in the multicube.
So i have two questions.
1. How to bring two fields in the query for the same characteristic.
2. How to achieve the condition in a characteristic for second customer class field mentioned above.
Could somebody help me in solving this?

Try to add two new Selections to your Structure as
New Selection1 -> Set the Customer Class value to fix 'PV'
New Selection2 -> Set the Customer Class value to fix 'CV'
<b>you have to add</b>
New Selection3 -> Set the Customer Class value to fix 'IT'
New Selection4 -> Set the Customer Class value to fix 'OT'
Fourth step
Hide these four selections
Fifth step: Add a new formula to your Structure
(Customer Class == New Selection3)* New Selection1(Customer Class == New Selection4)* New Selection1(Customer Class == New Selection1)* New Selection2+Customer Class == New Selection2)* New Selection2

How to restrict KA AND AB order types in script output data is coming from bkpf-blart .

and form is f140_acc_stat_1
in script output i dont want to display KA AND AB order types ..
data is coming from standard report.
i copied form into zform.
in output it is displaing all order types ..
is there any solution to restrict above order types.

Check the data structures used in the script
Since it is account statement of customer it uses the Tables BSID and BSAD in which the field BLART field is there whose values are KA and AB
check for the structures which are used in the script and in them search for the field BLART in Se11 and accordingly keep the condition

Dear Experts
One of our client havea issue of assigning wrong material to the scheduling agreement BOM explosion.
Actually there are two different plant code one for manufacturing plant and another one trading.Subcontractor activity will be carried out in trading plant , but users assigning the BOM components from manufacturing plant material.
So they are sending material to vendor from manufacturing plant and receiving material to trading plant.But finance guy don't want do like that.
How to restrict other material (material not part of SA plant)assignment to SA BOM explosion

In BOM creation CS01 , if plant is differ from header to line item system will give error message M3 351
"Material &&&&&& not maintained in plant &&&&".
Like that i want to make it in ME38 BOM explosion also.If plant is differ from scheduling agreement line item to BOM line item system should give error message.

How to find the Open sale orders till date for given plant and material ?

Hi experts,
                 I have a requirement to calculate the open sale orders for a given plant and material. I have tried in VA05 wherein i can get only for the material and sales area combination. From the document nos obtained from VA05 i can then find the plant. But my question is how do i get the output of VA05 into my progra. (can i use submit for a module pool report ).
Also if ther is some other standard table or Function module to find the open sale orders till a given date ,it will be even more helpful....in which case i can drop the VA05 route.

Hi Ashwin,
    You can use SAP Tables VBAK and VBUP to get to know if the document is complete or not.
   VBUK-GBSTK is the field that will give you the status of the Sales Order .
VBUK is used at header level , whereas VBUP is used for Item level.
So in your case what I would do is :
Get the Sales Orders that satisy the plant and material criteria from VBAP table , take this Sales Document numbers and go to VBUK or VBUP table to get the Sales Order Status.
   If I need to find the open quantity as well I will link to VBFA table based on the document number.

I have forgotten my restrictions code, and don't have an iTunes backup on a PC. How can I reset the code or find my code without using a PC or jailbreaking/hacking into my iPod?

- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.

1. How can I restrict users from printing a document? i.e. billdoc? I would like to know if I could block it though authorization. If yes, what auth obj to use?
2. How to restrict certain users from exporting to local file? the System> List>Save-->Local File. I have tried restricting it using auth object S_GUI but it seems it is only applicable to older versions of SAP. im on ecc6.

Check this:
Create your own gui status and attach it to the list in the event START-OF-SELECTION.
In the menu painter extra -> adjust template.
Make it a list status and you will see all the standard list options appear including list->download
Deactivate the ones you don't want.
If you just want to prevent users from downloading the list you can achieve this with authorization object S_GUI, activity 61. Menu option will still be there though.
Please note that if you remove authorisation for S_GUI activity 61 then all downloads will not be possible.
If you just want to disable downloads only for a particular report, you can try this test program:

Recently the domain controllers have been migrated from Windows Server 2003 to Server 2008 R2.
Since this account requires extremely strict environment, we need to figure the solution for restricting the users from access anything locally.
It would be great if you can assist me with the following query.
How to restrict users logged on Windows 7 clients from accessing Windows Explorer and browsing other systems in the network through Group Policy with a domain controller running on Windows Server 2008 r2 ?
Can we disable Network Tab on the left hand pane ?
explorer.exe is blocked already, but users are able to enter the Windows Explorer by clicking on the name which is visible on the Start Menu.

You cannot block explorer.exe when you do not replace the shell - the
desktop you see effectively IS explorer.exe...
