How to restrict PO price Change if GR is done

Hi,
In presetn setting if material is received gainst PO,  still we can chnage the price in ME22N, we want to restric that at item level,
e.g  if there are two items in a PO  is one item is received and GR is done,  when user try to chnage the PO price system should not allow it.
regards,
zafar

Hi
I think, it is not possible to do it standard SAP, but you can use either Badi of user exit to control this.

  • How to restrict header text changes in sales order level

    Dear Experts,
how to restrict header text changes in sales order level change mode
    thanks

    Hello Chandu,
how to restrict header text changes in sales order level change mode
In order to restrict changes to Sales Order Header Text, the appropriate User Exit would be USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_TVCOM_H. With the help of ABAPer, you can include the simple logic on the basis of Header Text type such that whenever any changes are incurred on the Sales Order header text, updates would be prevented.
Please try out this approach and let us know your latest observation on this issue.

  • How to restrict user to change original file in word document.

    Hi experts,
I am begineer in DMS. I am not able to understand how to restrict user to make any changes to a word document attached any DIR or any object link.
Ex: I have a created a DIR attaching a word doc to equipment master.
However, the user is still able to make changes to that word document usign CV03 tcode. I am sure most of you might have faced this problem. Please respond.
We are using SAP 3.1i version. It is very old version.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kiran

    Kiran,
The task that you have mentioned could be accomplished by setting up a status network for your document type. While setting up the status network, SAP has defined statuses which could potentially lock objects and fields corresponding to that status type.
More information could be found at
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/9f/857f3a1c7b11d294d200a0c92f024a/frameset.htm
I am not aware of 3.0i but you can navigate to customisation --> Cross Application Components --> Document Management --> Control Data --> Define Document Types --> Click on a doc type and go to
    define doc status.
Here if you define a document with status type S the object is essentially locked for editing.

  • Restricting PO Price Change (ME22/ME22N)

    Hi Guys,
    Restrict Purchase Order Price Change:
We want to restrict buyers from changing the price on the purchase order/Contracts after it has been created.   So basically restrict them from making any change to the PO price within transactions ME22/ME22N/ME32/ME32K.  We would like to provide the buyer with flexibility to change the price within a given tolerance level, if possible.
Has anyone instituted this type of practice?  If yes, what are all the different methods which could be used to achieve this?  What are the Pro/Cons for each of the methods?
    Any guidance would be appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Shobha.

    Hi Charlie,
Thank you for such a quick response, but I need to clarify something you stated:
<i><b>"you can make display in M/06 tcode but you can put the price change tolerance here" .</b></i>
Did you intent to say that ""you can make display in M/06 tcode but you can <b>NOT</b> put the price change tolerance here"?
Additionally, I haven't found anywhere else where the price change within tolerance can be set, beside the user exit option.  Do you agree?
    Please respond...
    Thanks..

  • How to Restrict users to change password

    Hi All,
I would like to restrict user to change password only defined number of times in a day, Is it possible to do it through group policies.
Please note i am already aware of "Minimum Password age" feature, however i do not want to use it as the minimum value that i can set here is 1 day. I would like to restrict users based on password reset threshold e.g. User can reset his password
in a day only twice or thrice.
    Thanx & Regards,
    Wasim Parkar

If you want to limit the user to have his/her password changed for a specific number of time every day, I have to say
NO thats not possible. PSO's as other mentioned, can be used to have different password policies. Maybe you can set the msDS-MinimumPasswordAge
to 00:04:00:00 which is equal to 4 hours. It means every 4 hours a user will be able to change his/her password. So in each day a user can change the password 6 times, since a day is 24 hours.
Do not forget a day start from 00:00 AM up to 11:59 PM. So in a 9 to 5 job, a user may change the password 2-3 times.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to restrict user to change status.

    Dear All,
we want to restrict users to change the status from set to assign to released status.
is there any authorization object to restirct user to change status?
i was trying with object CPRO_DPO Create Project Definition with activity 43 release ,but unable to do so.
    Please do need ful
    Regards
    Ravindra

    Hi Ravi,
probably you need to create user status profile.
Use TA BS02 to create status profile
here you have to add authorization key which needs to be defined in BS52
use b_user_stat auth object to give profiles in custom roles in PFCG
Thus you can block access to change status

Let me know if it helps

  • Restricting a price change when converting a PR into a PO

We have configured our system to copy the purchase requisition price into the purchase order when creating a PO with reference to a PR.  Now we'd like to restrict the user from changing the price to an amount greater than the PR dollar amount.  If they needed to decrease the amount that should be okay, but we wouldn't want them to increase the amount.  Is this possible?

This can be done via user exit only. standard SAP doesn't support this kind of scenario.

I don't know the authorization object that I need blocked.
    Can You Help me
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Assuming that these workbooks belong to a particular role, you need to endure that the users do not have maintenance ability for this role (that holds the workbooks).
You can see here for details on setting up these roles:

  • How to restrict status profile for sales order.

    Dear Friends,
Pl suggest me for follwoing scenario
►     As per business process for tender/ institutional sales and exports, the order is complete once the complete delivery and invoicing for the same has been performed.
►     It was also observed that a sales order may be modified (material, quantity, price etc) even after complete invoicing of the same has been performed in SAP.
The requirement is  Possibility to enable a control to restrict any amendments to the sales order after complete delivery and invoicing will be explored as per business requirements.
Is there any solution above scenario without writing any code.
    Regards,
    Atul
Edited by: atul thakur on Oct 28, 2009 5:09 AM

    Mr Atul,
My understanding is, you don't want your user to be able to change the pricing and order quantity once the order is complete, i.e Delivered and Shipped.
The status profile will not help you in the above scenario, Price/Quantity changes will not come up as Business transactions that can be controlled at Status profile.
Standard SAP restricts the price changes to a completed item of the order, so no need to worry about this.
But order quantity can be increased any time.
So to restrict the user to increase the order quantity you need to use the User-Exits that SAP provided.
Use the MV45AFZB user-exit program and form  FORM userexit_check_vbap to code this.
    Hope this helps you.

    Aj.

  • Price Change for Revenue Recognition

    Dear experts,
I am using Revenue Recognition of type B with Revenue Recognition before invoicing.
I have an issue/question about the way price changes are treated in the functionality.
The below example is used to describe the issue for your understanding:
    1.Pricing master data: $100/EA
2.Price of item in sales order: $100/EA
3.Qty in sales order: 10 EA
    4.Delivery & Goods issue: 10 EA
    5.Revenue Recognised (VF44) for: $1000
    Accounting Entry:
    DR Unbilled Accounts Receivable $1000
    CR Revenue $1000
6.Change in pricing master data: $120/EA
    7.Partial Invoice for: 2 EA @ $120/EA
    Accounting Entry:
    DR Customer $240
    CR Unbilled Accounts Receivable $240
    8.Partial Invoice for balance qty: 8 EA @ $120/EA
    Accounting Entry:
    DR Customer $960
    CR Unbilled Accounts Receivable $760
    CR Deferred revenue $200
    9.Subsequent Revenue Recognition (VF44)
    Accounting Entry:
    DR Deferred revenue $200
    CR Revenue $200
As you can see in the example above, the amount of the price difference is not credited to sales in step 7. From what I have seen so far the additional amount due to price difference gets credited to sales only after the total invoice value for the item exceeds the revenue recognized.
Is there any option to set the system so that the price difference is taken into account for revenue recognition during each invoicing (even
when the invoicing is partial) ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The price difference will not go to Sales in Step 7.  The reason being Revenue Recognition works on the item rather than the amount.  Since you have run F-44, the system finds the same in Unbilled Receivables and posts to that account.
For updating the price changes, you have to run VF46 to cancel the original RR entries.  In this case, it will just clear of the RR lines if realization has not happened and post a reversal if realization has happened.  This txn will also create a new RR line for VF44 which you can process.
Refer Note 820417 Implementation guide for RR.  Download the attachments and look into Part2 doc page 13.  This explains how to deal with price changes in sales document.
    Hope this helps.
    Ravi.

  • Price change report for  a given date range in inforecords

    hi,
Can any body suggest how we can get price changes in inforecords for given date range. is there any standard sap tcode or  fuction module.

    Hi,
If you are referring to the changes in the condition record (for eg. for PR00), then you may go through the foll path:
Execute VK13 for any condition type - once inside the detail screen, from the menu path, choose Environment -> Changes -> change report. This will take you to a new selection screen where you can define the period you want to see the change record as well as the condition type for which you want to track the changes. Beware, this is a complex report for SAP and it will take definitely longer time to complete. So, it is better to specify short time periods and specific condition types and execute this in background.
    Hope, this helps!
