How to restrict the Material (MRP relevant )from manual creation of Pur Req

Hi,
If we have a material "ABC"  which has MRP type as "PD" (MRP relevant) in Material Master.
If we don't want to give user the option of creating manual Purchase requisition for Materail "ABC", Whether this is possible in Std SAP ? If yes, then How?
Thanks in advance,
Pravin

Hi,
In standard there is no option to restrict at material level.
But using BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST method PROCESS_ITEM you
meet your requirement easily.

Sunitha.

  • How to restrict the material for speific storage type

    Dear all,
i am maintained  the X - material to 001 warehouse and 001 rack storage type when i try to create TO for putaway process it will allow me some  other storage type like open,shelf....as per my client requirement it should not be .....
i am using manual strategy for putaway proces ....kindly guide me....
    Thanks
    Muthuraman.D

    Hi,
The storage types during Putaway are proposed based on the strategy defined.
Change the stcok placement indicator in WM view 1.
If you have a storage type search strategy defined that matches your requirement, then maintain the same in WM view 1 for the material
    Hope this helps

  • How to restrict the ordering of apps from within an app

My grandkids somehow run up charges by ordering apps from within an app they are using usually games  without even knowing they are doing it. How do I restrict them from doing it?  And how do I get the charges to Itunes removed when this happens?

You can go into settings, and restrictions and turn off 'in app purchases'
You may also want to set your apple id from 'require after 15 minutes' to 'require immediately'
As to getting the charges reversed you can contact the app developer. Maybe they will reverse the charges, but they don't have to. The terms of sale are that all sales are final.

  • How to restrict the excess quantity delivery from the delivery note ?

    Dear All,
As we know we make the delivery note with the reference of sales order so ordered quantity will be copied in the delivery note automatically. At the time of picking we can reduce the delivery quantity and make the partial delivery.
But for example I have the sales order of quantity 5 and I make the delivery with refernce of same Sales order so my delivery quantity comes 5 and now if I make the quantity 7 instead of 5 in delivery note only and do the picking of 7 quantity yet system is allowing me then PGI is also possible. It means I delivering excess good than the ordered quantity. Which should not happen to make the cycle full proof.
I dont what setting is required to avoid this major error. please Gurus Reply soon.
    regards,
    Vojas

    Hi,
Use t-code 0VLP, select your item category which u determining in delivery >>> Go to details>>>in fron of Min/Max Qty put option B
Check minimum qty   --- B (Situation rejected with an error message)
Check overdelivery  --- B (Situation rejected with an error message).
When user try to change qty, system will give error.

    Hi Mark

See my scenario is i have set up the B2C SHOP  in CRM not in ECC  as and when consumer gets  register in B2C SHOP  he creates an Order,  so standard functionality is that  CRM  Order needs to flow into R/3 along with  consumer data such as (sold_to,ship_to_bill_to---) for further process like delivery and billing.
Now my requirement is client does not wish consumer data should be flown into R/3 for which he wants to map consumer data which is created in CRM to  R/3 with One Time customer for delivery, so that when ever consumer gets created in B2C SHOP it should map with the same R/3 One time customers

  • How to restrict the user from making any changes in Sales order- item level

    Hi to all
How to restrict the users from making any changes in sales order at item level if the same sales order is released by senior user through status profile.
    Regards
    Anish Parikh
Edited by: anish parikh on Jan 24, 2008 5:16 AM

    Hi Anish,
This can be achieved through the roles and authorization.
This can be done through the basis team. they can create user profiles and roles.
For the roles they assign some transaction codes so that they can view the only assigned tr. codes.
Like that ur requirement can be done.
Also u can prevent the user to change any fields in the sales order screen (VA02). for that please modify the authorisations.
    Hope i answers.
    Reward points if useful.

  • How to Block the material Item from the Po level?

    Hi,
Is it possible to block the item stock from the PO level?
Currently client request to block the material on certain good receipt only, that's why they want to control in the PO.
With the field stock type in PO defaulted to Unrestricted is good for them as they only need to change the stock type to block if they found out that that particular item need to be blocked.
The problem that i'm facing now is the stock type in PO is for display only, but when i check in OMF4, Quality Inspection, it was set as opt. Entry. Is there other places that i still need to change?
Beside change the stock type in PO, is there any other work around? For example, such as can we set a message pop up from the item text in the PO indicate that this item should be recieve as block stock when the store personnel do the GR or other work around?
    Thanks!

    hi
as per ur requriments certain goods receipts only go for block stock.
for that in that purchase orders w r t line items take stock type as a block stock.
if u want to restrict the material no purchasing at different u can select Xplant material status in material purchasing view or material type level oms2.

  • How to restrict the Copying/printing of the file from document

    Hi..
    Case:
    1. I have a document number it has three files in it.I want to locked the files from priniting and copying but not from opening/displaying.
    2. I am using content server for storing the DMS documents. How to restrict the number of attachments that can be uploaed in one document number?
3.How to restrict the maximum size that can be uploaded against one document number?
    Sandip

    Hi Sandip,
    1. I have a document number it has three files in it.I want to locked the files from priniting and copying but not from opening/displaying.
In DC30 transaction,in Workstation application for network, disable the print option. Will ensure users will not be able to print the originals.
    2. I am using content server for storing the DMS documents. How to restrict the number of attachments that can be uploaed in one document number?
See if your ABAPer can use the BADI  'DOCUMENT_MAIN01' with method 'BEFORE_SAVE' to handle this check.
3.How to restrict the maximum size that can be uploaded against one document number?
Believe you are using kPro as a storage option. If this is the case, then there is no setting available to limit the file size for upload.See if your Basis guy can set an upper limit for file size in IIS setting for your content server.
If you are using SAP DB as a storage option(not recommended though),then use the field File Size in DC10 transaction,Define Document Types to effect a file size limit.
P.S. Would appreciate incase you could close the threads which have been answered satisfactorily.

  • How to Block the material

    Hi friends,
How to block the material ,
what are the implecations if we block a material?
    Regards
    Krishna

    Hi,
The best way is to keep the materail status with deleted or blocked for puchase / sales and need to maintain in the materail master.
You cannot delete the material from material master until archiving but you can block that material for any procurement
    Goto Basic data 1
    X-plant matl status -
    01 Blocked for procment/whse
                                           02 Blocked for task list/BOM
                                           10 Blocked for MRP
    Select any one.
    Valid from  -
Here you enter valid date from which the material should be blocked.
So from this your material will be blocked for any PR/PO/any transactions related to Procurement
    BR,
    Krishna

  • How to see the material document for Blocked stock

    Hello Experts
I having some blocked stock in plant X , How to see the material document for this stock.
    Thanks in Advance
    Prashanth.v
    Edited by: prashanth.venkategowda on Aug 11, 2010 7:38 PM

which material documents do you want to see?
Material documents can be found and displayed in MB51 transaction.
in MMBE you can put the cursor onto your stock line and then choose from menu Environment > material documents and SAP will list all relevant material documents.
block stock status is not a selection criteria, material number, plant storage location, batch number are selection criterias.
if you want only documents to block stock, then you need to select by movement type, e.g. 343 and 344 are movements that change status from unrestricted to blocked or vica versa.
