How to resubmit a podcast

I submitted my podcast, got denied, fixed everything that could possibly be a problem, checked my feed with itunes on my computer and it works.
When I resubmit it to the iTunes store it says its already been submitted.
I did change the URL and still says its already been submitted.
Please tell me what I can do.
Thanks

You've fallen over a bug in the automated part of the submissions process whereby you are told a feed has already been submitted even if it was subsequently rejected or removed. The workaround is to change the title slightly - you can change it back once accepted provided doing so does not change the feed URL (in your case it looks as if it won't). If you can change the feed filename, and hence its URL, this is also a good idea, as is changing the URL in the 'link' tag (this can easily be changed back afterwards).

  • HT3311 How to resubmit a podcast feed after being denied

My feed was declined I think because it didn't have artwork, it does now and i have tested it on the validator.  But iTuns says the feed has already been submited.  How do i resubmit?

I've answered you in your other thread, which since you should have seen my answer above in this thread I needn't have bothered.

  • How to edit, delete, or resubmit a podcast review

Can one delete or edit, or resubmit a podcast review?  If there is no way to edit once you've submitted the review, could I get it deleted entirely then post the same review making the minor changes desired?  Or could I submit another review to replace my first one without getting it deleted?
NOTE: Amazon.com allows you to update the "reviews" you submit for a book or product, so I submitted a review of a podcast on itunes from my Macbook Pro w/Retina Display using Mavericks, but I now realize they don't post immediately and have no edit or delete feature.  Now I have a publicly viewable review with mispelled words and grammatical goofs that I can't polish up.  I noticed most people's reviews also tend to contain excessive amounts of errors, which makes me worry that Apple has made it so that you cannot edit them.
    Any suggestions or thoughts?

You can copy and paste the review into a document for editing, then delete the original review, and repost the edited version.  As far as I can tell, that's the only way to do it, since there is no "edit" function for iTunes reviews at this time.  Here is the click path as of now:
iTunes Store >> e-mail >> Account >> "manage" hyperlink in the row under "Settings" and "Reviews and Ratings" (see screenshot)

  • How to remove a podcast not in the US Store.

I submitted a podcast of my fathers a number of weeks ago, but it never showed up in the directory. It says it is not availible in the US store. I believe it is to do with the use of copyrighted music. He is no longer using the copyrighted music and we would like to resubmit the podcast in a few weeks when he has a number of the newly formatted shows in the feed log. My question is who do I contact or how do I go about having a feed removed from the servers all together so I can eventually resubmit it, if there no page for the podcast exists for me to report such a concern?
    The podcast feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/cgradio
    Thank you for your help.

  • Resubmit a podcast but with a different rss feed.

I am having to resubmit a podcast using a different rss feed. I have just recently changed on how I will be doing my podcast and of course the rss feed has changed. How do I go about fixing the older podcast with the new feed or do I have to do away with the old and start all over again with getting my podcast reinstated?
    Thanks in advance

Interestingly, it appears you did manage to get your podcast accepted in the Store - if you did this with an .html feed I'm a bit surprised it worked. I wonder whether you started with an .xml URL and it got changed by accident?
If you did manage to get the Store to accept a feed with an .html extension then you will need to change its attention to the revised version of the feed. This will mean that you will have to leave the present feed where it is, upload a version with the correct extension (having checked it works) and then add the 'itunes:new-feed-url' tag to the incorrect feed as described in this page:
    http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/podcast.html#move
Of course if you managed to change the extension by accident then changing it back should do the job.

Are you talking about imessage?  If you receive a imessage with a bunch of other number included, best way to reply is to send a new text to the sender, so that way only that person receives the reply and not the whole group.

How can I play podcasts on my iphone without using data?

I used to sync my podcasts to my phone individually, but found out that the Podcast app works better for me.  It continously downloads the podcasts (not really sure when, that's the only thing, when its downloading it may use data depending on where you are) and also deletes the ones i have listened to.  Hopefully that will help you out!

  • How to download new podcasts one at a time?

    Hello,
can anyone tell me how to download new podcast episodes one at a time? I have a slow 70k flatrate and iTunes starts all downloads at the same time, so most of them stop because they are too slow. So I have to klick each episode manually. Instead, I would like to leave my PC for one hour, and then all the podcasts should be there.
    Many thanks,

  • How to save my podcasts on iPod after wiping drive and re-installing iTunes

I wiped my computer and re-installed iTunes. I have a ton of podcasts on my iPod, however, and I don't know how to sync new podcast downloads while saving the podcasts currently on the iPod. If there's no "built-in" way to do this with iTunes, is there anything else that I can try?

    Bump.

  • Second try at getting info on how to submit a podcast feed. Please?

Can anybody point me to a page besides the outdated one here on Apple's page PODCASTING AND ITUNES: TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION ? Where it says under TESTING YOUR FEED to select "Subscribe to Podcast" in the Advanced menu. There is no option in the new 7.0 iTunes matching this. Later, under SUBMITTING YOUR PODCAST TO ITUNES it says under the "Music Store" category to click on podcasts, but once again there is no option for podcasts there. If somebody can explain how to submit a podcast to iTunes, it would be so much appreciated. Our podcast is new, but our radio show has been around for a long time. The link to our rss feed has been tested and it works. It is and http://www.rnnradio.com/rss2.aspx
All I need is somebody to explain how this is done! Please help!

The feed looks fine and can be subscribed to manually in iTunes (from the 'Advanced' menu).
Just to check that you are logged into the iTunes Store and are submitting this at
    https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/publishPodcast
If that's the case, you may have hit a server glitch: I should leave it for a few hours and try again.

  • How to put my podcasts into playlist folders? Can't drag'em.

How to put my podcasts into playlist folders? Can't drag'em.
I've subscribed to a number of podcasts & they appear in my iTunes window under the Podcasts section.
    There i have
    2 problems:
1st: I can't rearrange or group them so can listen consecutively to different topics.
I must listen to one, then come to the keyboard and select the next to start playing. Now, I know that I can get them to play consecutively once I've placed them into Playlist folders,
but that brings me to my second problem:
    2) I can't drag and drop them into separate iTunes FOLDERS (by topics).
(Though I have been able to drag&drop separate items from my 'Music' section into iTunes playlist folders.)
But can't drag from Podcasts section into Playlists,
as everytime I try they just refuse to go in and scurry back to their starting position under Podcasts.
    Zupwidiss? This can't be.
I would be grateful for your solution.
And also grateful if I could have easily found the solution explained
before I had to resort to bothering this forum with this question.
Just using my MacMini, Snow Lep.

    Thanks very much.
    You have reminded of the
    difference between
    Playlists and Playlist Folders:
One can only drag things from the Master list into PLAYLISTS.
And can only drag Playlists into Playlist Folders.
I'm an older man, and easily confused by these things.
Many thanks to my friend in Germany.
    P.S. Your English is excellent.

  • How can I Edit Podcast Description?

How can I Edit Podcast Description?
    Please help.

You don't say how you are making your podcast feed. I would tend to think from your question that you are not writing the feed yourself, but using either a program or one of the online services to do this. If this is tha case, you will need to look at their instructions: they should give you a place to enter the details.
If you are writing the feed by hand, then this page gives an example of how a feed should look:
