*** How to resume movie rental download?
I started to download a movie and then had to quit iTunes and restart my Mac. When I opened iTunes it wasn't there so I searched for it and the message said "you've already rented this, do you want to rent it again?". I was only about 75mb into a 1.06-ish gb download so that's not possible.
How do I resume this download without paying to rent the movie again?

Hi, here's my problem, hopefully you all can help me out. In the past two months I've rented 3 movies on my iphone4. With each one I get "Download error, tap to retry"....Well it's been two months and I have no desire to watch these films anymore, I just want to cancel them on my phone so that they don't show up in my download file anymore. I have no other issues downloading apps, music or tv shows so I'm not sure what the problem is. I just want them gone!

I pressed pause on Apple TV (2) remote by mistake twice, thus stopping movie (rental) download. Now unable to find. When trying to download again, message reads "You have already rented this movie, go to Settings and check in Download". There is no "Download" option in settings. Cannot purchase the movie either, same message. No trace of the movie but it has disappeared from my Wish list so system def thinks I have it. Have tried "check rentals' in Settings but the little circle just keeps going round and round and round. Any ideas of how to rent this movie??? Ihave not been charged for the movie so am confused, cannot download it but not charged for it. Any ideas? Thank you!!
Try logging out and back into your iTunes account, this worked for me as the rental tab (which had been invisible until then) appeared and my movie was there. Check rentals is a dead end.

No, rentals donwloaded on an iPad or iPhone can only be watched on it, and cannot be moved.
Rentals downloaded on a computer can be moved to an iPad or iPhone though.
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

How do I move a downloaded file (from You Tube) to Garagband - so as to separate video from audio (which I will send to iTunes)
Create a new GarageBand "Movie" project, then import your movie into GarageBand, by dragging it from the "Movies" tab of the Media Browser into the Timeline. GarageBand will split the movie into a video channel and an audio channel. Delete the video/movie channel and use the "Share" menu to send the audio channel to iTunes (assuming you have iLife '11 GarageBand)

Ipad3 movie rental download stuck
movie rental download completed but will not run and red download still lit, cannot clear it, re rent and it continues to read download error tap to retyr but and says unable to download, trying 50 times over a month
I actually figured it out after all! All I had to do was go back to the movie, select the rental button, iTunes recognized that I had already rented this movie but that it wasn't downloaded completely. It then made the download button visible and "voila" it restarted the download!

I rented and downloaded the movie "Twilight". It took about 20 minutes to download. Now that it has stopped, I can't find the movie to view. It's not in my movie section. How do I find the downloaded movie? It seems not to be downloaded.
