HellionSeraph you will want to get in touch with Wacom. They purchased Photoshop Elements 7 to be bundled with the tablet. Thus they will have access to the serial number if it is still available.

Please tell me how I deactivate my serial number on Photoshop Elements 8? I went to uninstall the program from Windows Control Panel, and the wizard prompted me to "deactivate my serial number" by selecting it from the Help menu. However, after I exited the uninstaller and opened up PE8 there appears to be no selection for "deactivating" from the help menu.

First of all, just to be sure . . . are you trying to deactivate via PSE8 Editor or PSE8 Organizer? Make sure that you are going to the Help menu in Editor because Organizer will not offer the deactivation option.
If you are not seeing the deactivation option in the Help menu in Editor there may be some corruption in the activation information stored on your computer. Your best bet would be to initiate a chat with Adobe: Contact Customer Care

I have a version of Photoshop elements that has been uninstalled and is no longer available to reinstall. When I uninstalled from an old computer, I failed to deactivate the serial number. How can I do that without reinstalling?

Wow, I tried the "chat" option and waited for 30 minutes....no one ever helped.....so I called a customer service number for the creative club option and they promised to put me though to someone who could deactivate my product.....waited another 30 minutes on hold. So then I called the sales department and wow, just as I thought......someone took my call right away. (Please note that the computer that the software I am trying to deactivate has been reformatted and I am unable to deactivate in that manner). I asked the poor sales rep, why on earth would I spend hundreds of dollars for new software when the only people who you can get to help you are the sales people. I think I will stick with free open source applications........this is so not worth it......

I was going through the same hassle with a Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere combination box from Office Max. The receipt said that it was activated, but the numbers on the receipt and on the box were the wrong length. I finally found the 24-digit Redemption Code on a card mixed in with the other printed materials inside the box. I activated the Redemption Code through my online Adobe account and received the Serial numbers for both Photoshop and Premiere with no more problems.
