How to retrieve an image from LDAP
Hi!
I have a PL/SQL function which is searching for users using the DBMS_LDAP api's. I can get all the values for all the atributes, but not the attribute called "jpegphoto". I want to know how to get that attribute value for a given session, a given entry, and then how to write the htp.p(); code to display it on my portal page.

Our main ZENworks server is 4.01 and it's running out of space for

I looked at the Security tab / Upload restrictions in the Server Policy

yes.. the imgserv.nlm does access the harddrive via connection 0... it is
not able to authenticate..
and honestly why would you want to pull an image from another server
causing double amount of traffic..
you only need to install the imgserv on the other server and reference him
in your scripts... the old one can do the pxe stuff..

I was connecting my Handphone to PC,trying to retrieve some pictures over..adobe photoshop album edition 3.0 start up automatically..and all the images were ticked. I unticked all..and ticked the 4 images that I want.But i changed my mind & decided not to do it..so i clicked the {X} at the top left corner to close it. it prompt me that 'changes will be lost..(dun remember..)' so i say 'yes'..and my images are gone.. how do i retrieve? I could follow you till the message "changes will be lost..." I have seen this message too. However, my images did not get deleted from the device after that. In case you are sure that you did not delete the images accidently, you can report this as a bug to Adobe. Just follow the link below:

1. Get it from the database.
2. Display it.
Part 1 has nothing to do with part 2.
You must solve 1 before you solve 2.
Finally generically there is no such thing an "image" but rather there is binary data which is represented in such a way that it one of many formats that represent an "image".
Knowing which specific format the "image" is stored in will at a minimum be helpful and could be required. -

-NealYou can't do this with the default simple authentication. That can only handle a
username / password combination.
You should be able to do this with JAAS. You could write a LoginModule that
populates the department as a Principal or public Credential on the Subject in
addition to the normal authentication. You would have to do a callback handler
that passed through the department info to it.

Once you have associated the Subject with the access control context by invoking
a doAs() you should be able to get it back at any point with
Subject.getSubject(AccessController.getContext()) to get access to the

I am finding difficulties in how to show this multiple row data for dynamic no of rows .i.e. variable no. of rows.
I have able to show the data in Header portions of page in this ways

Any way to retrieve this image from my cache? When saved it only saves as a 1.7KB blank file.
I'm trying to retrieve an image from Firefox's cache but so far have had no luck in doing so. The picture was hosted on imageshack and I had it open in a window but when I refreshed the page several hours later it was gone. I refreshed the page several more times, tried messing with the url to see if that did anything, but no luck. I haven't cleared anything on Firefox so I'm hoping there's some way I can recover it from the cache.

However, when I right clicked the URL and chose "Save Link As..." it only saved a 1.7KB file that none of my photo editing programs can recognize or open. I've tried going to cache entries for other image links and saving them and when I choose Save Link As for those they save just fine, and in full size, so I'm not sure why this one won't work...I'm using Offline Mode so I'm not sure why the picture no longer being hosted online should make a difference one way or the other. I'm just hoping that my act of refreshing the page and nothing being there didn't overwrite the cache file and thus erase the cache'd image.
So is there any hope of retrieving this picture or is it gone for good?Hi.
Once the image in question is replace with another one, the old one is erased. That is to say, if you open an image, say www.domain.com/image.png, and it's a 200x200 image, then you close it, it's still on cache, and you can access it through the cache. But if the image is changed in the server, that same exact url, and you access it again, at you see a 250x200 image (just an example), then the 200x200 is gone forever.
Your hope is that you never accessed the same URL again, so the old cache wasn't erased. If you know the url of the image, simply select offline mode (File > Work Offline, I think) and access its url. It will load the cached version and not check for the online one. Only if there is a cached version, of course.

Hi Keith, and all others chiming in, I do have the correct option checked in advanced settings telling iPhoto to copy the images into the library. What is a refernced library? Perhaps this is where I am getting confused. I exported my entire photo library from an old iMac5 to my external hard drive, from there I attempted to import the entire library to my new iMac. Am I overlooking an obvious and easy way to import from the hard drive to the new iMac--I dragged the entire photo pholder from the hard drive to the open window of iPhoto on the new computer. Now, I only get preview file sizes in iPhoto, unless I have my external drive open. Perhaps I need to import the original images from the hard drive in a different way...?! (This is making me feel pretty stupid.)
