How to retrieve library?

Recently another family member got an iPod and we decided to use Method 3 listed on the website to share the iPods on this single computer. (Method 3 - hold shift during iTunes start to select libraries)
However, when I created a library for the new iPod, I realized that I couldn't go back to my old ipod. I have my old library under an .xml file but not .itl and I tried to import it but it didn't show up.
Now the other iPod has a library, but my old library can't be uploaded. I don't know how I'm going to add any new songs and I'm worried that the next time I sync my iPod, it'll wipe out all my current songs for the new library.
Is there any way to restore my old library if I never saved it as a .itl?

I had the same exact problem caused by the same exact thing...
I still don't know how to fix it but i know how to prevent it: don't use this method
Make a new user on your computer just for the other person's library that way you can keep two seperate libraries
It's stupid how hard apple makes this...

Find the old Aperture library in the Finder and double click it to launch Aperture with that library set to the default.
And check your caps look key. It appears to be stuck.

. once data is shown on excel , user modifies it and update/save the record back to sharepoint.

I have a LaCie external hard disk. I do not know how to retrieve photos from iphoto that have disappeared. I do not know how to use Time Machine

I have a LaCie external hard drive. I also have Time Machine. I somehow have "lost" almost all my 5,000+ photos from iPhoto 8.1.2. I would appreciate someone giving me directions on how to retrieve the photos from the external hard drive or Time Machine.
The last thing that I did that is different from my normal routine was to trash duplicate music tunes from iTunes. I cannot figure out how that would have caused my photos to disappear.

I remember being cautioned to never do anything with the iPhoto Library. Should I have clicked on the iPhoto Library and then Restore?
I do not know "how" items are being placed in the LaCie external drive, just that it shows a backup running about every hour. I have taken a snapshot of the Time Machine Preferences I would you to see. Maybe that would answer this question.
In March 2011 I had to have hard drive on my iMac replaced. I had been using a Seagate external drive for backups. However I was not using Time Machine. When the Apple guru was helping me restore all my files etc on the new hard drive he was not familiar with Seagate and recommended I purchase this LaCie and use Time Machine. I never had any problem retrieving items from the Seagate backup. It was very straightforward. As I mentioned previously, I just don't have a clue with the LaCie and Time Machine.
I hope this is not TMI.

After you restore from backup, you MUST sync to restore your iTunes content. No iTunes content is included in the iPhone backup. Your apps should be in your iTunes library, just sync them back to your phone. If for some reason your apps are not in your library, you can re-download them for free:

How to retrieve data from SAP R/3 System to my third party software. I will make my query little bit more clear. There is a list of assets entered and stored in the SAP system. For example 3 mobile phones.
1) Mobile 1- Nokia
2) Mobile 2 - Samsung
3) Mobile 3 u2013 Sony
Now think I do not know what all assets is there. I have to retrieve the data and get it on my third party software. Just display the list of assets. Lets say SAP XI is also there. Now how will I map it and get the details.

Hi,
You can use RFC or ABAP Proxy to make synchronous call with SAP.
Under RFC or ABAP Proxy Program you can get the data from SAP tables. Direct access to SAP Database is not preferrable even if its possible.
The better way to go for RFC or PROXY.
You will send the request from Third party system and the it will be as input parameters from RFC/ Proxy it will response based on it.

but does not give me the encoding (specified by

resolves the correct encoding and i want to have

According to your description, you want to retrieve data from sharepoint list in a sub folder. Right?
In this scenario, we should select the XML data source type and in the connection string provide the
List.asmx service URL when creating data source. Then we need to use the List web Service and specify "recursive" for ViewAttribute in Lists.asmx. For detail steps, please refer to the links below:

If you want to set the ViewAttribute on CAML query level. You need add the view tag outside of query tag:

I have searched through the forum and have found a couple of similar threads but unfortunately no real solution for my actual problem.
I have the following scenario:
I need the room id to pass it into the Room API to retrieve the assigned users.
At least is this what I have found out in the docu, e.g.

Do you have a Time Machine backup or any backup of your Mac? Then you could try to restore from the backup.
If your photos are very important documents, you could also try data recovery software. Usually the trial versions are free, but if you want to safe the recovery photos you have to pay. Disk Drill works well to recover jPEG photos, see: http://www.cleverfiles.com/
It is still not obvious what might have happened to your iPhoto Library. Have you searched for different iPhoto Libraries?
You can search everywhere with FindAnyFile, where Spotlight will not search.

Download and run Find Any File to search for a file with "ThumbJPGSegment" in the file name. These are files common to all versions of iPhoto libraries.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages. If there's a library hiding somewhere on your hard drive FAF will find it.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so it won't show for re-downloading. If you haven't got a copy of it anywhere (if it's on your computer's iTunes then it should be in the Books part of your library) and it's still in the store then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
