How to retrieve my lost contacts found in data.syncdb???

Hey,
I had a problem with my new iPhone, I had Nokia N95 before, I wanted to get a copy of my contacts on my MacBook then I sync them into the iPhone, BUT I deleted all my contacts by mistake, can anyone help me extracting them from data.syncdb file found in (~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices/Local)
I opened the file, I found the names between the huge amount of letter and number..
I looked for some numbers as well...the problem is that the numbers and names are not matched...and I cant match all of them myself of course..
I tried to open it in the editor and I remember the first line had "SQLite version 3" I look around for that and I couldnt get any useful solutions...
I really need the contacts...Thanks!!

It sounds like there’s an issue with Settings, the Notes app entry isn’t showing up as expected. Take a look at the article linked below and try restarting your iPhone 3GS.

Well, I believe the only option is through iCloud or maybe a previous iTunes back up. I'm not 100% sure if iTunes backs up contacts as well (since I have not personally used iTunes back ups in some times), but I would start there. If you don't have them backed up anywhere, I don't know what to tell you.

How can I get missing contacts, notes, calendar dates and reminders that are just on my old iphone onto the iCloud for transfer to my new iPhone upgrade? Half of my contacts, notes, ect. were on my iCloud so have happily moved to my new iPhone but the rest are completely resistant. For example, on my iCloud I have 14 missing contacts starting with the letter A alone, however they are happily viewable on my old iPhone 4S and won't budge over into the iCloud.
There are also 3 notes missing yet still acessible on my onld iPhone 4S, the list goes on.
Your help would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

I accidently deleted my voice memos on my iphone. i was using itunes on two different computers and my voice memos are gone. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO RETRIEVE MY LOST VOICE MEMOS? PLEASE HELP!

itunes asked me if iwanted to erase all my files on my iphone when i connected it to my second computer.
i clicked yes
and all of my very important voice memos were deleted
however none of my photos were deleted...... and they count as files don't they?

You should never try to sync your phone with more than one computer or you will lose your data. The pictures were not deleted because the sync process does not touch Camera Roll pictures (it only includes them during the backup step of the sync process).
If you had these voice memos on your phone when you last synced it to your first computer, and if you haven't synced to this computer since then, you could restore from the backup created during your last sync. This will replace the data on your phone with the data from this older backup so anything new will be lost. If you think that is the case, do not sync your phone again to the first computer prior to restoring from this backup or you will overwrite it and the backup will be lost. Instead, prior to connecting your phone to your first computer, open iTunes and disable automatic syncing by going to iTunes Preferences and on the Devices tab checking "Prevent...from syncing automatically". Then connect your phone and when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on its name and select Restore From Backup and choose your last backup (containing your voice memos).
If you didn't have these voice memos on your phone when you last synced to your first computer, or if you have synced again to your first computer since losing your data, then your voice memos and other data are lost.

I've just been told that "a lot of people have reported the total loss of their e-mail related to the Mavericks (10.9) update. It appears the update corrupts the email files on your computer and when the Apple e-mail client sees everything is "gone" it wipes the server too (your GMail account)."
I need to recover/retrieve a lost email sent from my GMail account back in sep/oct 2012. can any one help?
I have searched my account the relevant correspondence is gone. I should not have deleted it myself. I've only started using "Mail" for my GMail account last September, so the servers could not have mixed up the Gmail archives, I think. Either way, I'm not smart enough yet to know how to retrieve this correspondence. The lost email is rather important, why I need to investigate all possible solutions.
My gmail settings i.e. POP/IMAP and Filters are as they should, as far as I believe, but yet, I cannot tell how my settings were in 2012, tho I think I've never changed anything personally. In Sep 2012, arounf the time the, now lost, corresponcence took place, I switched to using Chrome, where before I was using Safari or Firefox. I now use a new mac book with Mavericks and browse in Chrome, most of the time.
Would anyone be able to guide me through some steps, or have any leads on this?

Unless you've done anything to change it, Google keeps every email that ever passes through their server in your All Mail folder/mailbox/label. Even if you delete stuff, they hold onto it, there. You have to go out of your way to actually delete anything permanently.

How to re-capture lost contacts?

Is there a way to bring back contacts lost in an upgrade, without having to restore? An iphone 5C going from IOS 8 to 8.02 lost contacts. It was backed up to icloud prior, but I cannot see how to restore from that backup?

when you connect your iPhone to your computer in the summary tab you can choose to back up to this computer or iCloud choose iCloud and it will restore the last backup you did with iCloud
if you just want the contacts and nothing else then don't do it, you can find them in your iCloud account and put them in manually
i had to do that because i only sync contacts, and notes

I just purchased Iphone5, for my wife, while at the store the icloud download didnt finish correctly. When home I continued with download from our shared computer. It downloaded my information off my Iphone5 onto my wifes, and then lost contacts I had in my phone. Also her phone is email, and everything like it was my phone. Is there away to straighten this out?

Yes, erase her phone and start restore from icloud over again.

We have a MacBook Pro.
It has all contacts in the address book and then they are broken down into groups for myself, my husband and 2 kids. My husband deleted all of my contacts from his iPhone. When I synced it with the MacBook Pro, it asked me if I wanted to delete 50+ contacts. I said yes assuming it would only delete for him......well it deleted all the contacts he wanted removed from his iPhone, from my iPhone and from the MacBook Pro. So the question is; how do I restore those contacts. We have I phone 4s' and recently updated to OSX Version 10.9.4. Any suggestions?

You can see any back up files in Settings > iCloud > Storage & Back Up > Manage.... The option to use them will come after you have restored your device and the set up assistant starts.

I just upgraded to to the iOS 5.1.1 and a few hours later all my contacts disappeared. I tried to restore through iTunes but that did not work. - UPDATE as I am writing this. I got through to Apple Customer Service and because I had selected the option to backup to my computer (iMac 10.5.8) it was actually saving all my contacts to my "address book" app. Since I never used that application I didn't even think to look there. I just re-synced my contacts selecting "all contacts" and I was back in business.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but I'll try to answer! You can either connect to iTunes and set up and activate there, or you can also use the setup assistant to set up your iPhone. As far as carrier activation, you'll have to follow the protocol that your carrier uses. Either switch SIM card, or call the number they use to allow device activation. Is that what you were wanting to know?
