How to retrieve photos from an iphone internal storage?

Hi
I have recently lost a lot of my photos from my iphone! I hooked it up to the laptop and noticed there is 342 photos in my internal storage. How do I get them from my internal storage onto a disk or even saved into my laptop? they are not appearing on my phone only when its plugged into the computer but no way of saving them! please help!

Hi,
Please help
I plugged in my Iphone 5s using cable to my HP window xp laptop and "CUT" all images from internal storage to my USB.
All images went corrupted and showed size of 1kb
How can I recover those images?
Thank you in advance

icloud only stores photos in backups (or in a special case, when using photo stream).  If you have turned on backup and made sure the camera roll is turned on (only photos from camera roll are backed up), then you can get photos back by performing a restore.  But note that users should always sync photos to a computer to archive them, relying on icloud is not foolproof.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  This will erase your device.  Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Photos and videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera - ASAP as with any other digital camera, and especially before restoring the iPhone with iTunes or before erasing all content and settings direct on the iPhone.
With no import and no iPhone backup, the photos are gone.

You might be able to recover any photos that were in an iCloud Photo Stream if you had an iCloud account and used Photo Stream.  But without a backup of your library or MB hard drive you won't be able to recover any of the iPhoto Library photos as Jim has already pointed out.

The only photos that can be imported, are photos in your camera roll. Read here:

I have the HP Photosmart C309a,(wireless) and would like to know how to print photos from my iphone 3G.
I have the "app" "HP ePrint Home & Biz", but I don't know if it's compatible with my printer?

The app is compatible with your printer IF it is connected to a network (not via USB to a printer).
If it is not working restart your router by pulling its power plug momentarily.
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • I am sorry but I don't understand how to delete photos from my Iphone that were sys from a computer.

I just don't understand how to delete photos from my Iphone placed there by Syc.

Well, if they were synced fomr a computer then the iPhone says the computer "owns" them for instructional purposes.  You have two options.
    1) Plug your iPhone up to any computer with iTunes.  You can get itunes at www.itunes.com  Then tell it to sync photos, but then select no photos or an empty folder.  This will override what the previous computer put on your iPhone.
    2) Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings and say goodbye to everything including those synced photos.  If you make a quick backup first in iCloud (be sure it finishes) then you can restore form your iCloud backup via Wifi and those synced photos wont be there.  How to backup: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766

  • Am I able to retrieve photos from an iPhone after it has been restored?

Is it possible to retrieve photos from an iPhone 5s after it has been restored? I had taken photos on my new iPhone 5s prior to restoring the previous settings and I never saved these photos. When I restored my phone from the old backup, my new photos were gone. I don't think they were saved to iCloud either.

Without a backup with the photos on it, you will not be able to recover them.

    HELP !  thanks

When you connect the iPhone to the computer, if there are pictures in the Camera Roll, it should autoplay and open the photo import utility. If not, then try going to Start, Computer, right-click on the phone and from the menu select Import photos. You can then go into Control Panel, select Auto Play, then select what options you want to have for a digital camera, and/or the iPhone when connected. Best is to select Ask Me Every Time. • How to retrieve photos from water-damaged iPhone

Last week (Wednesday), I my iPhone got wet while I was out of the country.  I immediately put it in a grocery bag of rice (no ziplocks or tupperware available), and put it on top of the refrigerator.  I left it there until the end of my trip on Saturday.  When I got home, I put it on the charger and left it until the local AT&T store opened on Monday.  They weren't able to help me, but suggested I go to the phone repair place across the street where, for $25, he opened it up and dried it out.  It did not come back on for him, but he suggested that I take it home and put it on my charger and see if it will come back on.
Just to be clear, I am not all that worried about salvaging the phone.  I'm pretty sure it is irretrievably damaged due to the length of time it was in the water and the fact that it was ON and I checked to see if it worked after 24 hours (that's how long they told me to keep it in rice).  I have insurance and can replace the phone.  Everything else was backed up.  What I DO need, is to retrieve the work-related photos that are on the phone that did not get backed up while I was on my trip.  I do not use the cloud, so 3 days worth of photos are on my phone (luckily I backed up before I left the country). I did some surfing and found some steps that say they can sometimes retrieve data from a wet/dead phone, so I tried to turn it on one more time, and was ecstatic to see the little Apple symbol appear followed by the "unlock" screen, but then the phone died again.
This gave me hope, so I ran back down to the repair shop and he could repeatedly get it to come on, but it shows the battery is dead and it will not stay on long enough to retrieve the data.  He swapped the battery and got it to come on long enough to start the back up but it got about 1/2 way through before it shut itself off again.  The battery in it is the original and it is dead.  He suggested I plug it in and keep trying to get it to come on long enough to dowload the pictures.  I have it plugged in, but it doesn't appear to be charging at all.  Is there something more I can do?  I've seen other posts that suggest keeping it in the rice for over a week.  I've even seen software that says it can retrieve data even from a dead phone ("Wondershare Dr. Fone").  Is there anything I can do to get those pictures?
    Thanks!
