How to retrive archived messages in sxmb_moni

Hi,
My client want to see specific date archive messages, how to see those messages in SXMB_MONI window. Let me know any standard program and procedure. I am using PI 7.0 version SP19.

Follow the below to activate your infostructure,then you should be able to see archived messages.
1. start SXMB_ADM
2. choose Schedule archiving jobs
3. click "Archive management"
4. click "Information System"
5. click "Customizing"
6. choose "Archive Infostructure" for Object "BC_XMB" and activate it by clicking on "Activate" button.
7. go back and click on "Status".
8. click on "Status per Infostructure"
9. select your object "SAP_BC_XMB" and click "Fill Structures"
10. run it as a background task

The messages were earlier in System error(Red flag) state so i cancelled it manually.
I want to know how to delete the messages from sxmb_moni which are already cancelled manually using ctrl+f8.
if not possible , then i want to see them in earlier state i.e.., in System error(Red flag).
can any tell me the procedure of doing it.

What is retention period, where can i find this option.
And i don't have authorizations to sxmb_adm --> configure delete procedure
--> Define interfaces for archiving and retention period.
and to RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES in se38 , i don't have authorizations to run
Is there any way to delete the messages or make them to System error( Red flag) which are manually cancelled.

I think just for deleting the jobs you can do this only
Scheduling Delete Jobs
To schedule delete jobs, proceed as follows:
       1.      In the Integration Engine -
> Administration menu, choose Schedule Delete Jobs.
       2.      Select the job(s) to be scheduled.
       3.      Specify the start time and date.
       4.      Specify the period you want to use and choose Schedule.
For an overview of all jobs, choose Jobs.

How to view archived messages in XI

Hi All
we have recently done some settings in integration engine level to archive messages older than 3 months. it works fine.. However, as per current requirement, we need to analyze message ran approx 4 months ago. Is there a way to see archived messages? If so, can any one guide me ?

Open sxmb_moni and there you will find archive option too.

Removed account inadvertently, how to recover archived messages?

I needed to rebuild my account. I didn't realize that if I removed the account that everything would be removed also. I found the .wab files. Are the archived messages stored somewhere on the hard drive? If so, what is the file extension? Thank you for your help'

i felt that, u are unable to findout the output file in the month of novmber which was archived.
while configuring the adapter we have Archive mode.
once u select the archive mode,
asking for the archive directory and followed by ADD time stamp.
it mean's the output file as well as archived file generated with the following name.
i.e filename+Timestamp(yyyymmdd-hh:mm:ss-msec).
eg: XI_ouput20080118-190544-843

I passed many OPN certification in 2010, but now when I went to print it out It does not show the full certificate (as it should look) instead it just shows the details as below,
This certifies that NAME has participated in 11i10 Advanced Planning Implementation Champion Awareness Assessment (Archived) with the following achievements (score and date details)
I am not sure how to get over of this Archived issue. My concern is how can I print the original certificate which looks like certificate not just a statement. ?

AbdulI really can't help you much with OPN certificates .... but :
1) Can you please help by indicating where you are trying to print this from ?
2) Have you considered looking in Certview ? ( This will not print the certificate though ... however it will allow verifiation to be passed to a thied party ).
I realise this does not really help answer your question ... which is more OPN related

Check if you have choosed the Status Group in moni as Errors/System Error/Application Error.
If so change it to Processed Sucessfully and execute the moni.
I suggest you t choose none(i.e Blank entry) from Status Group so that you can view all the messages.

"You cannot restart XML message ..... with this status/type"
How can I make a restart?

How to handle archives messages in Msgs waiting for Acknowledgement

Hi folks
If i have a async process in BPM whcih is having status set "Processed successfully" but the BPM has actually spawned a WAIT for a transport acknowledgment(from file adapter), how do I handle archving/deletion for this msg??
Any filter i set in SXMB_ADM will count in such msgs too..how do we work around the scenario?

My sql server agent job failed and didn't store any error message in the job history. Is there any other table from where I can get the error info????
The job has sql_message_id = 16389 and sql_severity = 16. What does they mean????

Serching Archived messages -sxmb_moni

i have archived messages in SAP PI and i need to know how to search archived messages in XI.. we need to search messages in allready archived ..please let me know if we can serach messgaes through SXMB_MONI ..it is dificult to serch messages by going through one by one ..

Yes its possible and we 2 possible search features to search for Archived messages.
using SXMB_MONI
Archived XML messages(Search using Archive)
Arhcived XML messages (using ID)
Using an archive - Mostly Date wise
Using a message ID - Either Message ID or Pipeline ID

Archive Messages in C3

Hi,
I just want to ask where the messages are saved once you move them to the Archive folder? Is there any way to transfer messages saved in Archive folder to other folders or to the Inbox or to your SIM?
Also, I installed the Nokia PC Suite v7.1.51.0 and when I checked the Archive messages folder, I can't seem to open the messages, thus I can't export them to my PC as well. :-|

Hey guys- i found a way to move messages in the archive folder, it isn't the best as you cant see the time/ date messages were receive etc but at least those special messages can be moved =)
Step 1: Open up archived message
2pen up options button, select More>
3elect >Forward
4elect >Options button again
5elect More> option again
6elect >Copy and Paste (select Copy All)
7:Go into Menu and select >Apps
8elect >Notes option
9elect >Options (select Make a Note)
10elect Otions "Copy and Paste"
And your Archived message can be Bluetoothed onto your new phone or onto another device
I have yet to figure out how to save Archive messages to a Sim but i thought this answer was better than the nothing i found anywhere else =D
