How to retrive the URL using IComponentURI

Hi All,
i need to access the ME23 screen using the url, that is once an enduser will click the url the ME23 will be open.
I created one System Object in Portal for SAP R/3 server and passed the same in the Portal app.xml file---<component profile>
This is the code snippet i used till now

Application Parameter =?
RS38M-FUNC_TEXT=?
If the code is not right plz provide me the valid code and your suggestions.

Is there any way to get the URL used to open current report within the report running.
What i'm trying to say is, when i open the test.jsp, I know the ip address, portnumber, path of the file and file name, and all parameters, so I can open test.jsp, but when i open test2.jsp from test.jsp, I don't have have those info, so how do i get those info within running report of test.jsp.
also second question is, i wanna create a link to display current report in pdf format. In order to do that, i need to create a hyperlink exactly same as above except for desformat=pdf
is there any easy way to achieve this task? (actually first question's answer can be same answer for this question)

Hi Hanjoo,
I am assuming for this reply that your test.jsp and test2.jsp are deployed on the SAME host machine.
In that case, as the first step, put the file path (C:\oracle_reports) in the REPORTS_PATH environment variable on your machine.
Then you can use a hyperlink like this inside test.jsp:
/reports/rwservlet?report=test2.jsp&USERID=uid/pwd@db&DESTYPE=cache&mode=bitmap&desformat=html&pagestream=yes&paramform=yes
For a PDF report output, you can use
/reports/rwservlet?report=test.jsp&USERID=uid/pwd@db&DESTYPE=cache&mode=bitmap&desformat=pdf&pagestream=yes&paramform=yes
The machine name and port number will automatically be pre-pended to the above hyperlink at runtime.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've been playing around with some of the classes of the java.net package and java.io
Using the URL class i can get the content of the data from a STATIC page and output that response to file so that is does not display to the client broswer.
But this only works if the URL i give points to a static html page.
So the problem i'm getting is if i'm righting in arguments in the URL, this means that server needs to process the arguments i give and its sends back a dynamic result. Because its dynamic the URL class can not handle this and throws me an exception everytime :(
Have u ever tried to do some things like this?

If you have not activated the technical setting "Log data changes" in the definition of your z-table (which is unlikely) then there will be no change documents available.
If you have downloaded your z-table entries sometimes you could use these data for recovery.
Otherwise your last change is to ask your basis team when the last backup has been made.

buffering doesn't mean that it will buffer the records back in database ,once you deleted.it means it will allow the buffer the table to memory only while read access.

You can use velocity templates and javascript to achieve what you need.
Update confirm_end_session_screen.vm to
1. dynamically call the end session URL using ajax(?) to actually close the active OPA session
2. redirect user to the third-party application when the OPA session is closed

Trying to find the URL used when installing Flash player via ActiveX pop-up

I'm trying to determine what URL would be used when a customer clicks on the Activex Pop-up to install Flash player.
I've found a document that indicates the URL used when updating Flash Player via the Auto updater, but I think they are different URLs.... Can anyone help?

When you display a contract using ME33K and you click on a item and view its conditions(shift+F6), there might be 2 validity periods for a given item.
and each period will have different netprice in it.
One will be old date before the PO was created and the other new one which has validity till 31.12.999..We want to fetch the netprice for the new validity date but currently the program is fetching this data from the table EKPO which is having the netprice of the old date only..
Can you please how to retrive the new netprice from the new validity period

Let me describe the same.
Suppose the PO creation date is 04.07.2007
The conditions for an item in a contract for the PO are as follows;
1. Validity from 04.07.2007 validity to 04.07.2007 Netprice = 100.00
2. Validity from 05.07.2007 validity to 31.12.9999 Netprice = 200.00
We need to always fetch the netprice from the validity period which always matches with the PO creatio date. here the value 100.00 should be the correct netpr as the PO creation date matches with the first validity period.
But the program is fetching the netprice 200.000 which belongs to the second validity period. That is beacuse the select statement which fetches the data for contracts collects on the basis of EKKO-kdate and ekko-kdtab.the fields kdate and kdtab retrieves the validity period of the contract which is from 04.07.2007 to 31.072007. This data is then used to retrieve the netpr data from EKPO and it fetched 200.00 as it retrives the netprice of current data in contract validity and h not with respect to PO creation date.
This data is then used to fetch the get the netpr data from EKPO.
what we need is the netprice for that validity period of item(Conditions) that matches with the PO creation date..
Below is the code where I'm selecting the data from ekko and ekpo for the contracts data..Can you please add the code snippet to the below attachesd subroutine to get the required data from KONV and KONP so that we can retrieve the correct Netprice.

i installed the sqlite and sqlite-net as requested in other answers i found, changed to x86, and add the .db3 file in my project.
but the problem is how to retrive the data that already in the file( i am not creating any table or data in the app, just read)
all the answer i found is to create a table first and then read the table, i tried to skip the step of creating a table, and read from the table directly, but failed with " no such table", by the way, i set the property of the .db3 file as "content",
"copy if newer"
can anyone please help? i appreciate that !

From your description, you want to read data from available sqlite file. When you add the sqlite file into your project, you need to change the sqlite file build action to content. After deploying to device, the sqlite file is located in installation folder,
you need to copy that file into storage folder before reading data. Please try the following code snippets.

I would like to know how to get the workcentres used in the routing out of 2 alternate routings.
I referred PLKO got the Task List Type (PLNTY), Group(PLNNR), Group Counter(PLNAL), Plant(werks).
I passed this in to PLPO, The problem in PLPO is we dont have the distinguishing field Group Counter(PLNAL), so I am getting all the ARBID including both alternates.
How to get the ARBID with respect to Groupcounter 1 alone.
If a get the ARBID , I can get the ARBPL from CRHD.

Use PLAS Table also. you have to use PLKO> PLAS> PLPO.
Pass PLNNR & PLNAL in PLAS and get PLNNR & PLNKN.
Then pass these into PLPO.
