Hello, my ipod is a 5th generation 30 GB ipod formatted in windows. I deleted the original itunes folder on my old computer. Now i own a macbook with Leopard and Vista. They are both authorized and i was able to transfer back the songs i bought on itunes. Also, i was able to copy ipod folder to vista : it says it is just 6.6 MB but in reality it contains 12 GB ( the HD 's says so...). Ok so basically ipod is set manually as a hard drive, i want to put all its content back: playlists, podcasts, videos, photos, every song from my cd collection... everything... but how ? and is it possible to do the same with Leopard?

To delete photos from your device

Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

There is no reverse, you have to create a new transport with the original settings.
Programs keep track of their versions and are easier to pull a previous version, configuration can be tougher, open all the folders in SE10 to see if you can determine the configuration changes.
