How to reverse clip order in timeline?

So I have a pretty lengthy project, and I want to take all the clips I have, and essentially just play them backwards. As in, I have ex: Clip A, Clip B, Clip C, Clip D, Clip E. And I want to reverse the entire order so it plays: Clip E, Clip D, Clip C, Clip B, Clip A. Is there a quick way to reverse the order of all the clips, instead of doing it one by one, which is extremely time consuming?

If I understand correctly, you want to reverse the order of the clips but not reverse the clips themselves.
There is a way to achieve what you want, in very few steps.
1) Select all the clips (click anywhere in the timeline, and hit Cmd-A for "select all").
Go to Modify->Retime->Reverse Clip.
[at the moment, you'll still have all the clips in the original position, but playing in reverse]
2) Select all the clips and press Option-G (or File->New Compound Clip). You will be asked to name this compound clip. Now select this compound clip and do a new Modify->Retime->Reverse Clip.
[now you have the order of the clips inside the compound reversed, and, since they had been reversed to begin with, they will now be playing forward].
3) If desired, you can "uncompound" ("break apart clip items") the compound clip, or leave it as is.
I am curious, though: why would you want to reverse the order of the clips in a "long" story? It does not seem to make much sense, storytelling-wise.

Of course I could manually place them in reverse order, one by one - but that's not what I asked about. I asked how to reverse the order of the clips.
To suggest manually rearranging the order of the clips in reverse would be like if someone asked how to reverse the play direction of one clip, and someone were to reply with a suggestion of rearranging the individual frames, one by one, until reverse playback of the clip were achieved.
Let me try to clarify for anyone else that may read this, to avoid further difficulty understanding what I'm saying....
I want to know how to take a series of clips that are on a timeline (i.e. Clips A, B, C, D, E, F), and get them to be put in the opposite order on the timeline (i.e. Clips F, E, D, C, B, A). I DO NOT WANT to manually rearrange the clips, NOR rearrange copies of the clips, NOR take the Clips from the bin and place them in reverse order on the timeline.
The point to my query is to avoid the time-consuming effort of manually placing clips in reverse order, if there is a way to do this (just like instead of taking a clip and painstakingly copy/paste each frame, one-by-one, in the opposite order of its natural way, you just Modify the Speed to Reverse).

i can't figure out how to reverse the order of the values in a list of nodes. Could anyone help?

read through the list from the end to the start, putting each element into a new list. then replace the original list with the new one.
lots of ways it can be done.
dont ask me which is more efficient. the stack suggestion sounds pretty good.

Animation-need help: reverse clip order , different arrows in timeline

i am editing a puppetanimation and there are a few annoying things i really would like to know how to use better.
1.
i have 4000 pictures, sometimes i want to reverse the order of the pictures/clips. i checked making a own new file out of some pictures in a new sequence but i am scared that the quality is not the same. when i compare it with the normal photos then i can see a difference. so is there a easyer way? just chang quick the order. i can do it manual, but it is annoying.
and also i remember i did it some years before, but i do not remeber how.
2.
is there a other way just to zoom in the timeline? cause apple and normal plus dosn´t work.only if i push the "far away"(the other one) plus. with zooming out it works.
3.
very strange is that: when i copy a few pictures and i want to put them somewhere in the timeline, sometimes it showes me an arrow downwards and sometimes an arrow pointing to the right. i like the pointing to the right, cause then i do not delete the gap/break/"nothing" in the timeline. but also i need this arrow when i just move something and not only when i copy something.
oh i hope you understand....

i know i know.....it is not that annoying...just these few things. i want to go on with this programm...i know it , it works ... . there is not that much to do.just always checking the pictures and so on.

to make the question with the arrows more understandable: i want to put something big in a actually too smale gap. and i want that final cut notice this automaticly. it is not about animation. i would also want to know about this if i would have videomaterial and normal clips. and i know it is actually a simple thing.it is often about the shortcuts i do not know.

How to mark clip in the timeline in order to find out how long it is fast?

I think it is a shortcut which marks the clip in the timeline with in point as the start and out in the end of the clip telling me the length accurately, but what is that shortcut again?

Ok, here's how have I done:
1. Removed those images from the movie project
2. Created a new project and added all the images which I want to reverse the order of
3. Set the durations of the images as same as those in my first project
4. Exported the project as a movie file
5. Added this short movie file to the first project
6. From clip adjustments menu, checked 'reverse'.
There, the subset of the whole collection is displayed in the reverse order.

Is there a quick and efficient way to reverse the order of an OrderedMap?
I'm sorta using an OrderedMap for 'breadcrumbs'. Traversing from a specific page, category by category all the way up to the top.
For example:
OrderedMap map = new LinkedMap();

map.put( "Mammals", "/animals/mammals/index.jsp" );
map.put( "Animals", "/animals/index.jsp" );
Iterating it in my JSP view page, I get this order, which is wrong :

What about the following idea:
you could write two wrapper classes:
class ReverseOrderedMap implements OrderedMapand
class ReverseOrderedMapIterator implements OrderedMapIteratorIn these classes, you just map the methods
firstKey -> lastKey
lastKey -> firstKey
nextKey -> previousKey
next -> previous
and so on. In this way, you just provide a "reversed view" on the original map.
However, I'm not sure where elements added with put are ordered: Is it just in the sequence of addition? If yes, then the wrapped map behaves wrong, if new elements are added, because there is no corresponding "put at the begining" method. In this case, the wrapper should make the reversed map unmodifyable by implementing the put and putAll methods with throwing an exception.

Please first create an auxiliary program ZDELORBU as an executable program in a customer owned development class and with the source code in the note 1145955.
To delete the budgets of orders and to reset their 'Budgeted' status, please:
- run txn KO32 to deactivate availability control of orders (if active)
- run ZDELORBU for orders.
please test this throughly in a test system first.

How to Reverse Page Order in Acrobat Pro 9

Hello Community,
I thought this would be an easy thing to do in Acrobat but so far I am finding it is not.
I am creating a PDF from multiple files, they are jpegs, and I am dragging and dropping them into the "combine files" window in the order I want them to be displayed. However Acrobat reverses this order as you put them in and then gives you no chance to switch the order. It gives you the option to move the order one by one (which is nearly impossible when the jpeg titles are img1824, img1623, etc.) so they other option is to add the files I want backwards, which my brain can not do, I like to work forwards, not backwards nor should I have to.
So once I create this backwards PDF, isn't there a way to just reverse the order of the pages? any help is appreciated.

Hi,
a delivery suspension due to non-payment can just be released via an incoming payment.
You could also manually do this be setting the end date of the suspension, but I would not advise that. As I currently do not have system to check I'm not sure whether you could use ISM_SALES_ORDER_CHANGE, but you can try via the where-used list of structure JKSI_SUSPEND which needs to be used in this case.

Hello Imran,
To reverse the Internal Order use T. Code KO88
Enter the Order No., Settlement period, Posting Period, Fiscal Year and Processing Type
Click on the settlement Menu select the reverse option.
Now the order will be reversed on period which u provided.
Afterwards u can post the correct posting to I/O.
