How to reverse print (not duplex print) on Deskjet 6500 E71n?

I am making t-shirt transfers. I need to reverse print, sometimes called mirror print, so that when the design is ironed on to a t-shirt it isn't reversed?

What operating system? For Windows 7 there is a Mirror Image checkbox in the Finishing tab.

Lexmark support verified that my printer was connected to the new router and the problem was with the computer's printer configuration and they could reconfigure it online if I paid for their "Premium Support" services ($119 for one year, 3 fixes). I declined, feeling sure that this is something I could do if I knew how. Could it be an incompatability issue with OS 10.8.3?

You saved me $$$ that I can ill afford on my fixed income. I was very unhappy with the "support" from Lexmark... what a rip off! Thank you dwb!

sdsjp04, I would recommend disconnecting the printer from the computer and uninstalling/removing the printer from Programs and Features, Device Manager, and Devices and Printers.

How do I booklet print on duplexing printer?

Back in the good old days on OS 9 I could click a button in the print menu of the adobe print driver and print any multipage 8 1/2 x 11 document as a booklet on 11 x 17 paper on my HP 5000 or my HP8150 duplexing printers.
I can't find a similar way of operating in os10.
Any suggestions.

HP4700 print order duplex printing

We have a 4 bin HP4700 color laserjet in the office. The top bin (2) has a printed letterehead. This works fine if you print single-sided (simplex) but if you tick the box to print Duplex in Finishing it prints the first page on the BACK of the paper and UPSIDE DOWN.
Is there anyway to set the printer to handle the paper the same way for both simplex and duplex printing. I have tried fooling it by telling it to print duplex on a single sheet but it won't.
It is not practical to have to keep turning the paper over and around every time you want to print double-sided.

Depending on what application you are using, you might have the option to tell it there is letterhead in one of the trays.
Also, Use the HP Enterprise driver to print. It has the best support for the printer.

CP2025dn printer, automatic duplex printing

Recently, after a couple of updates, the CP2025dn printer only allows manual duplex printing. Operating system is Windows 7. Where do I get a driver supporting duplex printing or what do I need to do to turn on 'automatic' duplexing?

Probbably because the M451nw model does not have a duplex unit - you'd need the M451dn or M451dw model for automatic duplexing. The best that can be done with the M451nw is manual duplexing (where odd sides are printed first, then the driver instructs you to take the printed pages and place them back in the input tray, then prints the even pages - or perhaps evens, then odds? ), provided that the driver in use supports this.

Printer not accepting print commands

Printer (not computer printer) for 10,000 piece 8 page brochure??

I have created this brochure in Pages. It is 8 pages 8X10 and I need a commercial printer. Having a little problem with my local printer because he has never worked with Pages and I do not see that as a problem for him in that I am sending him a .pdf file.

Well, use of the Portable Document Format in and of itself does not guarantee that the printing master is properly prepared.
For instance, you can have QuickTime movies and hyperlinks in a Portable Document Format pagination, but you definitely don't want to have that in your printing master.
You can have image resolutions that are too low for the intended printing condition, and you can have colour spaces that are incorrect for the intended printing condition.
"All my images are CMYK" - right, but what CMYK? CMYK is just a data format, to be precise, a four component / four channel data format. You may have all images in CMYK, but one image may have been converted for newsprint with a low paper white and a total ink limit of 240%, another may been converted for inkjet with a high paper white and 220% total ink limit, and yet another may have been converted for offset with a high paper white and 340% total ink limit. Further, the colours formed by the colourants in the CMYK images may be very, very different.
In other words, don't place pre-converted CMYK in your pages. Place original colour correct RGB colourants referenced to the physical or virtual device space in which the RGB capture was corrected (e.g. AdobeRGB, EktaSpaceRGB, PhotoGamutRGB etc.). Since a printing system cannot print three component RGB, it has to convert to four component CMYK.
The ICC printer profile for the intended CMYK four component printing condition defines the laydown order of the inks (which may not be CMYK), the total ink limit, the gray balance, the colour detail in shadows, and the colour detail in highlights. This is a very, very nicely engineered file of only 1.5Mb that does all the difference, if you use it right.
And this is where we come to the PDF/X filter in the ColorSync Utility. PDF/X is short for PDF for blind eXchange, that is, PDF/X is a rendering specification that eliminates what you should not have in your printing master, checks that what you do have in your printing master is reasonable, and saves out your printing master with the ICC printer profile of your choice as OutputIntent.
One thing, check that the PDF/X filter is set to 300 dpi, and check that you pick the right ICC profile for OutputIntent. The filter has no way of knowing what printing condition you intend, so ask your printer, and pick a profile for that printing condition from those available at www.eci.org. The reference measurements are on the home page of the International Color Consortium at www.color.org.
If you can't figure it out, post to the Apple ColorSync Users List. This is properly speaking the core community of the International Color Consortium, since the International Color Consortium was first called the ColorSync Consortium, and since the ICC Specification, now ISO 15076, is the file format of Apple ColorSync 2.0.

Extra Blank Page Printing When Duplex Printing on HP 8610

Whenever I do duplex printing, before the 1st page of the document prints, a blank page comes out of the printer. The document itself prints okay in 2 sided mode.

I hope to help you with my suggestions. To get started, try running the Print and Scan Doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue. The tool will show you a report at the end. Please let me know the outcome! Try printing again now to see what happens. Also, test print from more than one program, which will tell us if the issue is within one program on your PC, or with the printer driver itself. I hope to hear from you!

How you enable double-sided printing can depend on the applications from whick you wish to print. Example: if I print to my HP PhotoSmart from Safari, I get this print dialog box:
(Edit: OOPS! Note that I forgot to switch printers when i took the scene-shots, so ignore the "Brother" reference. It's should look the same for your HP.
Note the selection labled "Safari" near the bottom. If I change that form "safari to "Layout: I get this:
Note the option for two-sided printing appears for your selection. If I print from Word, the box is different:
The "Copies & Pages" option can be changed to "Layout" when you click it, again allowing the selection of two-sided printing.

When printing boarding passes, tickets, or legal forms, I want to print on one side only. However, I do not find this option anywhere, and I am forced to print one page at a time.

What is the OS and version? On Windows, if you want a printer settings to stay, you change it in the system print property, if you change it in the pop up when printing, typically it's considered per session and the change don't stick. If you change a setting in a specific app (word, adobe), they may or maynot send that info to the printer.
If you are using presets, after making the changes, you may be able to save a new preset with the wanted properties and use the new preset from now on for the type of print jobs (e.g. save a preset named "boarding pass")

PDF Printer not in Printer Menue

The XI that came with my new dell E6540 , when I am in a program and chouse the print menue I do not have a PDF printer in the menu , is this just a tril ver. or is there
somthing I should do to get the drivers for it

The PDF printer is a component of Acrobat Professional, which, unless I'm sorely mistaken, DOES NOT come pre-installed on an OEM PC.

Printer not completing print job

I have a Canon IP3000 connected to the AirPort Extreme via USB. Ever since I had it connected, it was able to print all the pages until it gets to the first page, which it prints half way and then stop. I have no idea why it's doing this. I tried different printing sources (image, web site, etc.) and it's doing the same thing. Help?

I would need a little bit more information in order to give you the best steps to follow. What is the exact error message you are receiving? Without that error message, I can suggest trying a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing problems. I recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, if it doesn't fix it automatically let me know what errors or messages you receive. Have Linksys wrt54g with AE connected via ethernet cable (only way I've found to connect to the existing network). AE light is solid green and it is in the admin utility. I see the printer listed in the summary page in the admin utility. At this point I would think that I could find my printer listed in the printer setup utility. It was not there under bonjour or any other place. I down loaded a new driver. The printer is an HP photosmart 7760. I must be missing a step... oh and by the way I did not select connect to my existing network, that did not work. I guess my question is this. Is there some "trick" or step that I need to do so my printer shows up?

go to applications/utility/airport setup utility and configure your express. If the program finds your Linksys then your good to go. Bonjour will take care of the rest.
