How to revert to iOS 5

I have just run the ios 6 upgrade on my phone and found that the new mapping application is virtually unusable in comparison to the one in iOS 5. How do I get my phone to revert back to iOS 5 and the old map system?

The main reason is that the iOS 6 Maps App is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
I do mountain-biking and walking in remote areas and the old Maps App was a seriously good means of identifying trails and navigating through diffiult terrain. The new Apple Maps App doesn't provide any information on non-motorised byways such as footpaths, pedestrian precincts, bridleways, bike-only routes, etc. Also the satellite images (for the UK) are so poor, you cannot even identify a town, let alone anything a small as a footpath 2ft wide. I will be resorting to traditional map and compass navigation for now as the new Maps App is not fit for purpose (which makes it almost illegal in the UK).
The loss of the old Maps App is a very serious issue and I believe will in the short to medium term have an impact on the number of serious wild-area emergency services call outs. People have got used to accurate mapping under iOS 5 and the sudden loss and inability to revert to the old version will, I believe, contribute to serious injury and possibly loss of life.

Disappointing iOS 6. How to revert to iOS 5 ?

After upgrading to ios 6, the sound coming out of the built-in speaking has become harsh, just like being distorted when the volume is turned up too much.
Also, the touch screen seems NOT as responsive as before. Moreover, the video app in ios 5 is definitely to be missed.

Sorry, but you can't go back to a lower iOS.

We r getting dump(cause: Field symbol has not yet been assigned) in production for ABUMN tx, so, when debugged, it came to know that, the Field symbol is coming from REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY!!
So, for some reason the system message text is not getting output in ALV-->Dump!!
So, found a NOTE causing this problem!!
So, pls. let me know that, How to revert back this/any SAP NOTE? pls. in detail steps wise!!

What version of iOS are you running? I'm going to bet that you do NOT have a 3Gs. You have a 3G. The highest version of iOS that can run is 4.2.1.
If you did not save a copy of the older facebook at that could run on 4.2.1 on your computer that you can sync back, then you're out of luck. The newest version (and the only one available in the app store) will not run on 4.2.1.
You will have to resort to using the mobile web page in Safari or find a 3rd party app that will run on your phone.

iOS 4.2.1 suggests that you may have 2nd generation Touch, which cannot be updated past iOS 4.2.1
Check http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353 for help in identifying your model. A quicker method may be to check the back casing. If your iPod has Model No.A 1288 etched into it, then it's a 2nd gen Touch.

Look in your Applications folder. If your system behaved as expected, you should have an iMovie 9.0 folder in your Applications folder. Apple moved the old version there as even they suspected the new versions was a train wreck.
