How to revoke fulfilled license upon refund request.

Hi,
I am strugling with revoking fulfilled licenses when customer request for refund. I deleted respective license from Admin Console but it just restrict them not to download further on any device. But they are still able to use the book if already downloaded/fulfilled.
Any suggestion to tackle this will be much appreciated.

How to revoke returnable license already on a user's device? If I delete license from Admin Console, user still able to read already fulfilled e-book. The only thing for revocation working for us when customer itself return e-book. Please let me know if any other way to revoke already fulfilled license?

How do a submit a refund request for unauthorized in-app purchase?

If you didn't make the purchase, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and made it, then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • I own Snow Leopard Family Pack and an acquaintance installed it onto their MBP without permission. How can I revoke that license?

I own Snow Leopard Family Pack and an acquaintance installed it onto their MacBook Pro without permission. How can I revoke that license? I don't have access to their MBP, but I have access to all the other authorized computers using the family pack.

No. The license is a legal agreement, not a technical measure to restrict installation or duplication. There's nothing to stop you from installing it on 20 Macs in your household save that you are subject to a binding legal agreement that says you have permission to install it on no more than 5. If you break the terms of the contract, you may be subject to civil litigation. If someone steals your copy and uses it without authorization, they are similarly liable.
In practice, Apple trusts you to be honest because, frankly, until it gets to a certain point, it's just not worth the money to file a complaint against you. That's not to say that they couldn't, or even shouldn't enforce the terms of the license agreement; caveat sycophanta.

  • Report Job was cancelled upon user request???

    Hi,
My reports take more than 10 minutes to complete, most times I get
"Report Job was cancelled upon user request".
error, how to fix this problem? Is there any time limit inside the report I can set.
    Thanks

    hi ,
There is no limit on the report run time. The most probable reason why you are getting the 'Report cancelled upon user request' message is the users might have hit the "cancel Report" button which is displayed when it is running in 'SYNCHRONOUS MODE'. do not hit that button as it will terminate the report. to increase the speed of returning the results by the report, try improving the sql that you use in the report, or if you have DBA rights try adding in INDEXES on the columns of the tables used by the report.
    Hope this helps

  • HT204088 refund request page

Why is it so hard to find the refund request page?  I made a contribution for an app and have cannot receive the service, therefore I want to get a refund.  It is almost impossible to find a link to the correct location for make a request.

Indeed this took me to a page where the information provided was how to protect the security of my account.  I had emailed iTunes previously and they advised me to contact the app developer, which I did... they advised me that they did not know why the app was not working and to contact iTunes for a refund....get the picture ... I think this is going to be a vicious circle.
I may just go to my bank and dispute the credit card charge...may be the easiest solution, since there is not an actual refund request page that I can find.
    Thanks for your help.

  • F4 display upon value request - values to be selected

    Hello experts,
I have an issue here. When the function module F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST is used in my program for displaying the PSTYV field values on the selection screen upon value request. Now, when the popup opens there are 53 number of item categories, i.e., from VBRP table. • How to enable end users to escalate requests outside of newScale - end user view of delivery plan

How do you communicate to end users in a large organization, the procedures for escalation a request that is late or urgent. The views of the delivery plan available to users don't give them muche detail about who is doing the work.
I'm curious how other people communicate the escalation procedures - per service - to the end users that submit them?  for instance, our unix admin team is pretty swamped and not meeting their OLAs reliably.  They want to provide a way for the Appdev/IT users to know how to escalate requests that are late and urgent/important.
When a user submits a unix admin service on a req, if the user knows where to look in myservices, they can see the delivery plan, but enough detail to know who is doing the work. (we submitted an enhancement request a while ago to provide an options for a "full disclosure" view of the delivery plan).   Even if they have enough access to service manager to find the req number and see the service manager view of the delivery plan, they still only see the service team/queue name, which might not be enough info for them to make a call or send an email.
We are discussing a few options and was curious what others are doing:
    1.  Update the Service description to include a contact distribution list for the fulfillment team (for requests with simple plans) or the service owner team for complex delivery plans.
    2.  Create a custom email template to be sent at start of delivery plan.  Ccurrently we have a generic email that covers most requests, but are thinking of creating emails that provides service-specific escalation information.
    3.  Create an intranet page with escalation information by service, and perhaps including this as a link off the myservice home page or the service description.
The scope of this question is more around infrastructure requests that are fulfilled by centralized groups, not how end users escalate phone or computer requests.  Our service-desk generally not involved in support of infrastructure requests, although they woudl probably be the escalation point for end-user requests

  • Narrow the subscription rights for fulfilled license.

How we can narrow the rights of already fulfilled license? Here is an example what i tried to do that.
1 I created a fulfillment link with 3 years expiry of a loan
2 Then i created another link with 10 days using same orderid as in first step. But when i downloaded second link it and checked item info it still showing expiration of 3 years.
I am not sure where i am doing wrong or is it not possible at all? Please help.

Alright, If we ask customer to return ebook, and he downloaded ebook to 3-4 devices, and he returned from one device only. How many days it will take to void customer's access from all devices.
I checked with Bluefire about this. They said they verify once in three days.
I just wanted to check what if customer downloaded to Adobe Digital Editions?
    Thank you.

  • HOW TO: Post a SQL statement tuning request - template posting

This post is not a question, but similar to Rob van Wijk's "When your query takes too long ..." post should help to improve the quality of the requests for SQL statement tuning here on OTN.
On the OTN forum very often tuning requests about single SQL statements are posted, but the information provided is rather limited, and therefore it's not that simple to provide a meaningful advice. Instead of writing the same requests for additional information over and over again I thought I put together a post that describes how a "useful" post for such a request should look like and what information it should cover.
I've also prepared very detailed step-by-step instructions how to obtain that information on my blog, which can be used to easily gather the required information. It also covers again the details how to post the information properly here, in particular how to use the \ tag to preserve formatting and get a fixed font output:
    http://oracle-randolf.blogspot.com/2009/02/basic-sql-statement-performance.html
So again: This post here describes how a "useful" post should look like and what information it ideally covers. The blog post explains in detail how to obtain that information.
In the future, rather than requesting the same additional information and explaining how to obtain it, I'll simply refer to this HOW TO post and the corresponding blog post which describes in detail how to get that information.
    *Very important:*
Use the \ tag to enclose any output that should have its formatting preserved as shown below.
So if you want to use fixed font formatting that preserves the spaces etc., do the following:
    \   This preserves formatting
\And it will look like this:
       This preserves formatting
. . .Your post should cover the following information:
    1. The SQL and a short description of its purpose
    2. The version of your database with 4-digits (e.g. 10.2.0.4)
    3. Optimizer related parameters
    4. The TIMING and AUTOTRACE output
    5. The EXPLAIN PLAN output
    6. The TKPROF output snippet that corresponds to your statement
    7. If you're on 10g or later, the DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY_CURSOR output
The above mentioned blog post describes in detail how to obtain that information.
Your post should have a meaningful subject, e.g. "SQL statement tuning request", and the message body should look similar to the following:

PS: Just noticed that it actually sometimes doesn't show the proper formatting although the code tags are there. Changing to the \ tag helped in this case, but it seems to be odd.

I am testing if it is possible all requests from users should go through a module

Power on the Time Capsule for a few minutes, then hold in the reset button firmly with a ball point pen or something similar for 10 seconds and release. Allow a full minute for the Time Capsule to restart to a slow, blinking amber light.
Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the LAN <--> Ethernet ports on the back of the Uverse router to the WAN "O" port on the Time Capsule
On your Mac, open up Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Other WiFi Devices tab
    Click on the Time Capsule
The setup utility will open up automatically and take a minute to analyze the connections then suggest a setup on a screen that looks like this:
Type in a simple name that you want to use for the Wireless Network Name
Type in a name that you want to use for the Time Capsule device
    Type in a password
    Verify the password
    Click Next
The utility will set everything up for you in a minute or two. When you see the message of Setup Complete on the screen, click Done
You can now log onto the wireless network that you created by selecting the name and entering the password
Post back on your progress and we will next get backups going again

  • Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job was cancelled upon user request.

I am running reports on the web through Forms using Run_Report_Object built in. I am using Oracle 9iAS Enterprise Edition Release 1(1.2.2.2.2), Forms 6i Patch 9 (6.0.8.18.3) and Reports 6i Patch 9 (6.0.8.18) using CGI implementation. Most reports are running fine, but I have one that produces 125 pages and we are getting the following messages in the browser:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Report Job was cancelled upon user request.
However if you look at the Reports Server Queue Status thru the browser it shows that the report did finish, but it took 16 minutes. But the user gets the above message in their browser window.
Is there a way to get the first page of the report to display, while the rest of the report finishes, so the browser window doesn't timeout and display the above error?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    hi ,
There is no limit on the report run time.
    Manoj
