How to rotate map to the direction I'm facing?

Hey all. I'm coming from Nokia Maps to this Here Map app. In Nokia Maps you can have the map orientated to the direction you are facing. It worked wonderfully if you are on foot looking for an address and came in super handy. I've noticed that Here doesn't do that. Am I not seeing it, or did they not program Here with this functionality?
Outside of that, I'm am finding out now that I finally have the US downloaded that Here is way more smoother! I used it on the plane yesterday and the map corresponded precisely to the landscape I was watching outside the window!

Here Drive will orientate itself to the direction of travel once you are in navigation mode. This is not available in Here Maps.

Now that you have Google Maps up on Safari, tap the bottom center icon (box with arrow pointing to the right).
Select "Add to Home Screen".
You will now have a Google Maps icon on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch that will take you to Google maps.
There are other map services available. MapQuest, Waze, NavFree, OffMaps, etc...

How to install maps on the N97?

Hello, I am rather new to the N97. I tried to download and install the maps of Europe on my N97. I did it this way:
- load Nokia Map Loader; select maps (Europe), download and install;
- then the progress of downloading and installing can be seen on the screen; at some point it is ready; I go to maps on the N97, but can't see any of the additioned maps and if I give a search term of a city of the added maps, the programm can't find the city.
What do I wrong? I have downloaded and installed before one of the guides [London] and it works.
The N97 has the latest software (v. 11xxxx).
I have read quite a bit in this forum and somewhere else, but couldn't find a solution. As I am leaving for a holiday by the end of the week and want to use the maps on my holiday I would appreciate any suggestions very much.

It must be true that the software has some quirks.
The great thing is that the first suggestion by cbidlake lead to a practical way. So let me tell how it works.
It hasn't to make with the fact of I have zoomed in on an area that I haven't downloaded: I could see an area that I had downloaded (part of Europe, and I had downloaded Europe), but when I zoomed out and moved the map and the cirkel to England: I saw the name of cities ...
So I searched for Manchester and Brighton and now I could get the information (I had used these names with a negative result before).
As I had now England as map in view I searched for Palermo: it couldn't be found; so I moved the map and the circle to Italy, names appeared and I searched again for Palermo: found it.
Next with the map of Italy in view: I tried again to search for Manchester and Brighton: negative. I moved the map to Engeland, searched again: positive.
The next step was to zoom out until I saw the whole of Europe. I then tried to search a few cities all over Europe. Result: I only could get the cities which belonged to a somewhat restricted part of Europe around the circle.
So I know a way around the bug: move the map and the circle, but it only works as long as I know to which part of Europe a certain city belongs.

How to rotate PDF with the automator?

Hello everybody!
I'd like to create a WorkFlow to rotate all the selected PDFs (one page PDF) of 90º.
In the PDFs section of the Automator there isn't anything like that.
Somebody can help me how to do it?

You may use something like the following script, which will rotate pdf files on desktop by 90° CW (clock-wise) and save the rotated pdfs in ~/desktop/out directory with name with _RC90 appended; e.g. Given original name = abc.pdf, rotated pdf = abc_RC90.pdf. The ouput directory, if specified, must be present in advance. If ouput directory is not specified, rotated file is save in the same directory as the original resides in. Specify -90 or 270 to rotate 90° CCW (counter-clock-wise).

Don't know how to rotate photos in the photo editing programme of the ipad.

I couldn't find a possibility to rotate photos by 90 degrees within the preinstalled photo editing programme of the ipad air.

Auto Rotate Maps iOS4??

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the live 'maps' view to automatically rotate the map so the direction being traveled is always facing up? I read somewhere this (apparently) was a feature in version 3, but I can't seem to get this to work in OS 4 with an iPhone 4.

The button should have three settings.
When it has a grey background it oriented with the top of the screen being north.
When it has a blue background it finds your current location.
The third setting is shown as the arrow point to the top of the screen with what looks like a light shining forward. In this mode the map will reorient itself as you turn your phone around.
These settings alternate in sequence for each tap on the button.
I believe the third setting was available from the iPhone 3GS and onwards, or in other words, any iPhone that also has the compass app.

After GR for 4 qty price updation in MMR will happen
(MMR (priceqty) value + MIGO (priceqty) total value)/total qty
in our example
(502+514)/6 = 50.65
price will be updated to 50.65.
MMR price - 50.65 qty - 6
MIRO price - 52 qty - 4
do the same calcualtion to get updated MAP.

How do I map Windows users accounts on a mac

I want to map the Windows network account for a user on a mac. When I map the individual folder I also get the server icon giving them access to all users files. How can I map just the one users folder and not the server icon?

I think the only way to do this would be to share the exact folder you want to be seen on the mac (not sure if this is possible on a win xp server).
However, you could just hide the server icon in the finder and in the sidebar. This is done by clicking on Finder --> Preferences in the menu bar. Deselect "connected servers" in the general tab and the sidebar tab. Please note that this will hide all connected servers, so this may cause problems. The server icon can still be seen if someone uses Go-->Computer in the finder.

How can I save to the same map every time when printing pdfs?
Finder points to the document map even when I chose a different map recently.
I often print series of pdfs from the print dialog box, I'd like to choose the map to save to and then have all subsequent pdf prints automatically directed to the same map until I decide otherwise.

How Would One Go About Making an Object Rotate to Face in Direction of Mouse?

I'm just a teenager who happens to have Flash as part of CS4 Production Premium, which I got as a gift. I don't have any training or previous experience in Flash, and have only just in the past few month been looking into what ActionScript is. I've just been fiddling with Flash in my spare time, just as something to do, and am working on making very basic computer games. Currently I am trying to make a very basic top-down shooter computer game. I've gotten it to where I can move the player (a circle with an arrow on the edge) in eight directions using the standard FPS movement keys (W,A,S,D) and make it move faster for a limited time by holding down the SHIFT key.
But now I've come to a standstill. I am trying to make the player rotate in the direction of the mouse cursor (made to look like crosshairs) so that the player can move in any of the eight directions and aim in any direction at the same time. I've searched the Internet for hours on end, looking for anything that might help, but not a single Web page section relates to this kind of thing. So now I'm giving up on searching for a help article, and am making one instead. Is there anyone that's successfully done this kind of thing before? Or at least someone who actually knows how to properly use ActionScript 3.0 and can figure it out themselves, then tell me what they did? (In the meantime, I've made it so that the player rotates and faces in the direction he is traveling in.)
I've attatched all the code that I've typed to make the game work, so that anyone can look at it and tell me if I'm doing something wrong already. I've only been learning ActionScript by figuring it out on my own as I go (watched a few videos I have on a disc too), and in the case of this game, I've just been making is up as I go, so to all of you people who actually know this stuff pretty well, this code is probably going to look nasty.

I pasted it to the bottom of my code on the main timeline (correcting it for my use), but I get this message in the Compiler Errors window:
Warning: 1090: Migration issue: The onMouseMove event handler is not triggered automatically by Flash Player at run time in ActionScript 3.0. You must first register this handler for the event using addEventListener ( 'mouseMove', callback_handler).
So what do I do about that? (again, I'm just a beginner, so I don't know what any of this means)

Select Variants button and display. In the next screen, enter a variant name, (If not existing , press Create to create new one), else click on Change.
Now the selection screen will display with a button "Variant Attributes" at the top.
Click on that button.
In the next screen, go to the selection variable column of the date field. Press F4 or drop down and select 'D' for date maintenance.
In the column "Name of Variable (Input Only Using F4)" press F4 or drop down, select whichever kind of date calculation you want and save the variant.
Now whenever you run the prgrm with this variant, date will be displayed by default.

How can I get the direction handles to show up for the Position attribute?

How can I get the direction handles to show up for the Position attribute?
I have CS3 and I did the formentioned test and was able to make the handles work for the scale attribute but they don't seem to show when editing the position values.
*I am in the graph editor looking at the "value graph"
*I select the keys and convert the keys to auto bezier (I also tried the ease in and out buttons)
*It changed the graph the way you might think (no longer linear) however the handles are not showing to edit further.
*I also tried using the "convert vertex tool" (part of the pen tool) and still no luck getting those handles.
*the handles only show up in the speed graph but that does me no good.

I don't have CS3 installed on any of my machines any more but your value graphs for position should look something like this:
There are no handles for position in the Graph editor. You adjust the position curve by editing the motion path in the composition window. Press the G key to bring up the pen tool, then use the modifier keys Crtl/Cmnd and Alt/Option to temporarily switch between select and convert vertex to adjust the paths. Changes will be reflected in the value graphs. You will get editable handles with scale and rotation because these are not spatial properties. Spatial properties, position, Anchor Point, all XY & Z coordinates are edited in the comp window or in the layer window after revealing the properties. IOW, you edit anchor point position paths by opening up the layer window and choosing Anchor Point from the display options.
