How to run an exe as a window inside a VI

I have a VI that needs to runf an exe file i.e. the exe file should be running inside the VI and not execute as a separate window. Please suggest the best way to proceed.

If the other code is in a separate compiled executable, you can't. Your best option is to grab the data from the executable using VI Server and display it in your new program.
What exactly is it that you want to do?

My aim is to run a MS-DOS Batch file, that I created to run a Java Prgram.
I need to call the Batch File from the Oracle Procedure, Also I may need to change the content of the Batch File (Argument to the Java JAR File ).
I can keep the JAR FIle either in the Oracle Server or in the Application Server.
The Java program is to convert XML Format FIle to PDF and MS Word format.
Oracle Version : 10g 2.0.1.0.

How to run oracle 11g forms in windows xp

I have installed weblogic 10.3.4, Oracle Fusion Middleware Forms 11g 11.1.4 version....
Configuration of domail also successful...
I use the following steps to run the form
1. WLS_FORMS
start -> programs - > Oracle Classic Instance - asinst_1_FR1 - > Forms Services -> Start Weblogic Server - WLS_FORMS
it is successfully running - showing the Running Mode
2. open the form bulider and connect to the database.
3. in form builder runtime path is - http://localhost:9001/forms/frmservlet
4. When i click on run button web page was invoked... but nothing is coming... blank page is displayed..
Please tell me how to run the form.... Am trying the test.fmx which is in D:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms.
My system configuration in 2gb ram, windows Xp ser 2 , 2.4ghz processor...

Do the following:
1. As Sarah mentioned, ensure that you have JRE 1.6.0_12 or newer installed.
2. In the Builder, ensure that you have entered both the Application Server URL and Web Browser Location values. Neither of these fields should be left blank. The browser location should be the complete path to the desired browser and include the exe name. For example if you were going to use IE it would look like this:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
These settings are found in the Builder under EDIT > PREFERENCES > RUNTIME

Our reports (11G R2) output desformat is PDF. We howerver, need to embed some fonts in the PDF when it is generated. So, we need to add the parameter PDFEMBED in the command line of RWRUN, RWCLIENT or RWSERVLET. However, the application server is Linux.
Since Linux does not have EXEs how to run these in Linux and how to pass parameters to them? i.e. reportname, directory,... etc.

I want to use sqlj.exe to compile sqlj file. I don't know what option can be set for Sqlj.exe can automatically compile sqlj file and it's dependent file(sqlj or java).
Here is one case:
There are three six files.

i have Powershell script which is created as a function. I have to give parameters to run the script. And it is working fine. Now i want to run this script through windows task scheduler but it is not working. I dont know how to call powershell function
through task scheduler.
From command line i run it like this:

On powershell it does not run like .\Get-ServiceStatusReport.ps1 (parameter).

There appear to be many threads regarding this issue, but so far I've been unable to piece together a solution to my problem.
My requirements are quite simple really.
- Invoke an Oracle Report from an HTMLDB page
- Pass parameters form the page to the report URL
- Run the report in a new window
I have created a simple example at:

Page 1 contains the following HTML Header attribute

I'm trying to invoke an oracle report through a button in apex2.2. Please let me know how to display the report in a new window.
I have put the URL as of now in the branch of the button, and the report is getting displayed in the same window.
I've read some of the posts and put the URL as the target of the button instead of a branch and also used the javascript:popupURL(), but it still doesnt work for me. The URL works fine without the javascript.
