How to run Autoconfig.sh

Hi
I am cloning EBS R12 on AIX,
unfortunately ,I'm cluless how to run autoconfig.sh!
I tried from APPL_TOP/
to source the environment fine, i.e. <CONTEXT>.env
and typed adautocfg.sh
but I got:
adautocfg.sh not found
Can anybody help please!

Nothing as such dear!There is no point in posting the same answer/solution which is already suggested by someone else.
I just tried to be more preciseHow is that? Is it about APPLCSF and COMMON_TOP? If so, then sorry to say that it is not more precise, it is just the same :)
no doubt you always give the best solution to the problems.I do not give the best solution; I always read the thread and answer according to what I believe is correct and I always avoid mentioning something already suggested in the same thread.

Check the CM log file under $APPLCSF/$APPLLOG directory, search for <SID>*.mgr file (or from the application -- Concurrent > Manager > Administer).
For the database log file, issue "show parameter diagnostic_dest" from sqlplus.
AutoConfig details can be found in (Using AutoConfig to Manage System Configurations in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 387859.1)).

DB 9.2.0.8
OS solaris sparc 10 64bit
while running autoconfig on apps tier autoconfig failed with CLNADMPRF.SH and okladmprf.sh and autoconfig take along time to complete
ERROR:
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name
1- how can i solve these error ?
2- should i skip these errors and start upgrade apps from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.1 and DB from 9.2.0.8 to 11.2.0.1 ?

Prod entries in jserv.properties after running autoconfig on test

Hi all,
whenever i run autoconfig on my test instance , production related entries come in jserv.properties file , how can i check where is the problem as nothing is wrong in the context file

How to run tasks with priority?

Hello everyone,
I want to run tasks with priority, i.e. among several simultaneous running tasks, the task with the higher priority will have more chances to occupy CPU time. I have the following 2 issues dealing with the implementation of such feature.
- To define each task as a thread or as a method? How to change the priority of each task dynamically when they are running?
- The priority feature of Java thread does not meet my requirement, since I can not define priority precisely. For example, I want to define that a task with priority A will occupy CPU time 3 times than a task with priority B.
I am wondering whether I can find similar open source projects or tutorials?

The database and the database listener should be up and running when you run AutoConfig on the Application/Database tier nodes.

How can I run autoconfig without manually giving apps password?
Supposedly I keep apps password hardcoded in some file and then autoconfig can read the apps password from that file ??

Hi,
Most recent application patches run AutoConfig as part of the patching process. You can find out whether the patch will run AutoConfig by reviewing the patch README file, or by applying the patch in TEST mode using "adpatch apply=n". This will not do any changes in you application/database, it will just generate a log file showing all the actions it will perform when applying it normally.

I have console application using which i am trying to run power shell command like 'Get-AssignedAccess' or 'Set-AssignedAccess'.
i am using below code for this it is throwing exception 'Get-AssignedAccess' doesn't exist in cmdlet which is correct because these commands belongs to function category.
using (PowerShell pwInstance = PowerShell.Create())
pwInstance .AddScript("Get-AssignedAccess");
var result = pwInstance .Invoke();
How can we execute this kind of command using c#?

I know this doesn't help you much, but, I think you have to see if your Mac pro does audio out via HDMI. I don't even know if mine does via DVI. I think it may have to do with the adapter. Try going into Audio MIDI and setting the digital out to multichannel
and using the toslink cable for now. Lemme see...apparently DVI does not carry audio at all. Hm. apparently monoprice could be helpful? If I understand what you're saying correctly: you want to take DVI and multichannel audio via the Toslink and have it all go out over HDMI, right? Though you can initiate the binary from your client side but for the file creation, there is no other way but to store it on the server side. So your best bet would be to get some space free on the server side of yours.

Hi I am trying to run a script on my workstation from Oracle server through isqlplus workarea. I entered following command and get the following error. i have enabled isqlplus URL by editing web.xml file already. Can please someone help how to run the script?

So far, you haven't specified your rdbms version and isqlplus behaved differently on a 9iR1, 9iR2 from the one release on 10gR1/R2. on 9i it was a servlet based on a JServ servlet executor machine, meanwhile on 10g it is a J2EE compliant application deployed on an OC4J container, so configuration is different.
