How to run oracle forms in ipdad or smart mobile using OS android

please help me
how to run oracle forms in ipad or smart mobile using OS( android )and connect to application server 10g?????
Thanks

If you had looked at data dashboard and some of the other links on Android, you would see that you cannot run a LabVIEW app on Android. Nor can you use a serial port. With Data Dashboard, you have a pc running LabVIEW and it publishes to network shared variables. Data Dashboard on the Android allows you to view those variables.

  • How to run oracle forms 6i on Windows 7

    Hi guys,
Is it possible to run forms 6i on windows 7 .

    spilgrim wrote:
Do you mean develop Forms6i or run them using the JRE?I think the question was about the Forms runtime.
The server mode was a rare approach.
Running a Form - I couldn't say as I don't see 6i applications anymore ... probably given the JRE would workThere should be a lot of clients still. Well, I have no reliable statistics though.
Supporting legacy applications is always a tough question.
I'd prefer a dedicated hardware (server) for this occasion.

  • Why Other Browser cannot run oracle forms without IE.

Why Other Browser cannot run oracle forms without IE.
i want to use other browser for oracle form like firefox, google chrome etc not IE.

    Hussain Afridi wrote:
Why Other Browser cannot run oracle forms without IE.Let aside we don't know what forms version you are using, your statement is simply wrong. I am running Forms 10gR2 with Firefox for quite some time (from 2 to 12 and now with 10.0.7 ESR). So I know for a fact that you can run Forms with other Browsers then IE. Also why would Oracle certify other Browsers (which they did) if it wouldn't work in the first place?
So to answer your "question": forms most certainly won't work on FF on your side because you didn't configure your formsweb.cfg properly. For newer Versions of Fírefox you'd have to use the Sun JPI instead of JInit:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/documentation/forms-jre-131772.pdf
Also if you'd have used the forum search it would have come up with some informations on what to do; e.g.
Running Oracle Forms applications using  Firefox 3.6
So to sum it up you should reprhase your original question to:
How do I use the forum search/google to search for informations already provided a hundred times?cheers

  • How to run oracle 11g forms in windows xp

    Hi friends,
I have installed weblogic 10.3.4, Oracle Fusion Middleware Forms 11g 11.1.4 version....
    Configuration of domail also successful...
I use the following steps to run the form
    1. WLS_FORMS
    start -> programs - > Oracle Classic Instance - asinst_1_FR1 - > Forms Services -> Start Weblogic Server - WLS_FORMS
it is successfully running - showing the Running Mode
    2. open the form bulider and connect to the database.
    3. in form builder runtime path is - http://localhost:9001/forms/frmservlet
    4. When i click on run button web page was invoked... but nothing is coming... blank page is displayed..
Please tell me how to run the form.... Am trying the test.fmx which is in D:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms.
My system configuration in 2gb ram, windows Xp ser 2 , 2.4ghz processor...
    Regards
    Deepak Kumar H.R.

    Do the following:
    1. As Sarah mentioned, ensure that you have JRE 1.6.0_12 or newer installed.
    2. In the Builder, ensure that you have entered both the Application Server URL and Web Browser Location values. Neither of these fields should be left blank. The browser location should be the complete path to the desired browser and include the exe name. For example if you were going to use IE it would look like this:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
These settings are found in the Builder under EDIT > PREFERENCES > RUNTIME

  • How to run the form that is only installed on a PC and not using a server?

    Hi
I am new to Oracle and have taken the forms class. But I do not understand how to run the form from my PC using XP windows. (Do not have access to a server).
I have started the OC4J, made sure the listener was started, compiled the form and then when I run it, it automatically goes to the HTTP:
    ERROR: res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,http://kevin:8889/forms/frmservle
I connected to the database correctly. I can process a report and it does nor try to access the internet. My only issue is running the form. I verified it compiled.
Sorry for a basic question. Could someone please help, I tried reviewing other questions, but not sure if they are connecting to a server or not.
I see webutil but is it required if I don't have a server? Thank you in advance.

Regardless of the version, it appears that you may not have configured the Builder. Do the following:
    1. Open the Builder
    2. From the menu, select Edit > Preferences > Runtime
    3. In the box labeled "Application Server URL:", enter a local URL needed to run a form OR click the button labeled "Reset to Default". If you decide to manually enter a value, it would looks something like this:
    http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet
    4. In the field labeled "Web Browser Location:", enter the path and executable to your preferred browser. So for example if IE is your browser of choice the entry would most likely look like this:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
    5. Click on OK and retest.
By the way, you can manually enter a URL in the browser. Clicking the RunForm button from the Builder is strictly optional. To run the "test" form directly from the browser enter the following into the browser's address field:
    http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet?form=test

    Loading http://abc:8889/forms/java/printtext.jar from JAR cache
This tells me you are using a 3rd party or locally developed Java Bean to perform some type of print function. Is this correct?
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: java.io.IOException: open HTTP connection failed.Does your printtext.jar Java Bean need to open an HTTP connection in order to print?
Have you been able to print in the past using this Java Bean? Where did you get the Java Bean?
RegisterWebUtil - Loading WebUtil Version 10.1.2.0Your form appears to be using WebUtil. Has it been successfully configured?
Honestly, you need to list the following minimum information when you post a question; it gives us all or most of the information we need to help you and it eliminates the need for us to ask for this information. Please always include:
    * Forms Version (eg; 10.1.2.0.0 not 10g)
    * Java Version
    * Client OS version
    * What you were doing when the error occured.

  • How to run a form in localhost ?

    hi all ,
how to run a form in localhost? where can i get software called Runtime ?
    please help me !
    best regards! thank you !

To run on the localhost (your machine) you need to have the Forms runtime installed. If it's a one off (i.e. you don't intend to deploy to anyone else's machine) you can download Forms from Oracle on a developer licence (free).

  • Running a project by clicking a icon without running oracle form builder

    Hi,
How can I Run a project by clicking a icon without running oracle form builder?????
    Regards
    Ashraf

    Hi!
For forms 6i client/server just create a shortcut for your application like:
%forms_home%\bin\ifrun60.exe your_formand set the working path to your forms folder.
For web forms create a shortcut with the url to your server/pc like this:
http://pcname:port/forms/frmservlet?config=your_configand create a config entry in your %forms_home%/forms/server/formsweb.cfg
for setting the modulename (fmx) and the working path for your application.

  • How to run Oracle workflow in windows 7 os

    Hi,
    Am new to oracle workflow.
I have installed oracle workflow successfully in my laptop.
After installation I dont see any shortcut's in my desktop.
Can any one sugess me how to run oracle workflow.
Steps to begin from basic level.
    Thanks
    Balaji

You mean to say you installed Workflow Builder on your laptop? See that Oracle Workflow has a Client Side (WF Builder), a backend Server side and middle application side.
Assuming you successfully installed the client side then you must have a group of programs called Oracle OUIHome and there one called Application Development. There you should be able to find Workflow builder.
    Useful notes for WF Builder:
How To Download and Install the Latest Oracle Workflow Builder (Client Tool) and XML Gateway Message Designer for E-Business (Doc ID 261028.1)
