How to save a customized format and save it as default template for all reports?

Hi All,
I have a specific format to be followed for all the reports. I'm using WebI Rich Client 4.1 SP1. Can i create a template with this customized format and save to use it for all the reports in future as a default format. If so how can that be done?

Another option is, if you want to FORCE global stylesheet for ALL users. You can update the WebIDefaultStyleSheet.css located in \SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\images\ folder.

We have a default template for all queries and workbooks.But this default template was created using a AP query and saved as a workbook.Now all the users having AR role are not able to execute queries or workbooks.Since this default template has a AP info provider associated with it.Is it possible convert this default workbook to a generic one without any security restrictions.Please provide a solution.

In Bex analyzer, you have option to convert a template into a default template.
Or you can create a copy of the existing template without AP infoproviders and assign it as default template.

How can I get the "Open" and "Save As" dialog boxes to open at larger than their default size? I would like them to open at the size they were previously resized like they used to in previous operating systems. They currently open at a very small size and the first colum is only a few letters wide necessitating a resize practically every time one wants to use it. Any help would be appreciated.

How can I do to acquire and save date in the same time and in the same file when I run continual my VI without interruption.

I've attached a VI that I am using to acquire amplitude from Spectrum analyzerse. I tried to connect amplitude ouput to the VI Write Characters To File.vi and Write to Spreadsheet File.vi. Unfortunately when I run continual this VI without interruption, labview ask me many time to enter a new file name to save a new value.
So, How can I do to aquire and save date in the same time and in the same file when I run continual my VI for example during 10 min.

Your VI does work perfectly. Unfortunately this not what I want to do. I've made error in my last comment. I am so sorry for this.
So I explain to you again what I want to do exactly. I want to acquire amplitude along road by my vehicle. I want to use wheel signal coming from vehicle to measure distance along road. Then I acquire 1 amplitude each 60 inches from spectrum analyzer.
I acquire from PC parallel port a coded wheel signal coming from vehicle (each period of the signal corresponds to 12 Inches). Figure attached shows the numeric signal coming from vehicle, and the corresponding values “120” and “88” that I can read from In Port vi.
So I want to acquire 1 time amplitude from spectrum analyser each 5
period of the signal that I am acquiring from parallel port.
So fist I have to find how can I count the number of period from reading the values “120” and “88” that I am acquiring from In Port (I don’t know the way to count a number of period from reading values “120” and “88”).
Here is a new algorithm.
1) i=0 (counter: number of period)
2) I read value from In Port
3) If I acquire a period
i= i+1 (another period)
4) If i is multiple of 5 (If I read 5 period)
acquire 1 time amplitude and write to the same
file this amplitude and the corresponding distance
Distance = 12*i). Remember each period of signal
Corresponds to 12 Inches).i has to take these
values: 5,10,15,20,25,35,40,45,50,55,60............
5) Back to 2 if not stop.

The Account Groups is the one which maintains the field status for the customer master. In case you want to change the field status (i.e. changage the mandatory field to optional field) you need to maintain the same (i.e. changage the mandatory field to optional field) by navigating to the field status screen and then to the general data tab. Here you can change the status of the your field by selecting the 'OPTIONAL' radio button for the respective field and then save the transaction.

How to delete a custom format in Numbers 3

I am one of the poor unfortunates that has upgraded to Numbers 3 BIG mistake!!
However does anyone know how to delete a custom format in Numbers 3?
I'm not sure where the custom format came from in the erlier version of numbers. I guess I must have created it for something, I can't remember what.
It now appaers that when I send a Numbers 3 document via email to an Excel format it adds a weird custom format that turns currency into garbage. Once in Excel simply going to format cells and deleting this odd format cures the problem.
If I could find a way of deleting it in Numbers 3, hopefully the problem will go away.
This is far from the only problem I'm having with Numbers 3. It's begining to look like I'll have to abandon Numbers 3 having had to go to the expense of buying a new iPad because Numbers 3 documents (and presumably Pages Keynote etc) no longer work on the original iPad.

In Flash, all we need to do is create a MovieClip and assign it a class name in the library.
Instantiation is a simple matter of:

At this current point in time, my understanding of creating custom UIView in xcode is limited to the understanding that you have to:
1: Forward declare the class in the header.
2:
]newclass *CustomClass in @interface's {}
and THEN
@property (nonatomic, retain) newclass *CustomClass;
in the header file also.
3: Nib initialization in the implementation file in viewDidLoad and do "addSubview".

at the header somewhat limiting...as it denotes you must know how many instance you will create in the application before hand.
I believe I am wrong here, hence, my question is, how do I add custom UIViews with initialization codes in real time ?

one workaround i could think of is using the CM views to search for content that belongs to a category and display it in a custom way.

this only allows you to search for the meta-data available in the CM views but not the content of an item that is available when doing a search.
in the next major portal release we will have a publich search API that can be used for these type of requirements. you can execute your search and format the results in the way you want.

Firefox promted me to save about 4 passwords and now won't prompt me. All the setting are just as they should be. Why has it stop prompting me to save passwords?

This is a new machine though I am not new to Firefox. There are certain sites I have multiple accounts on in which Firefox as of a month ago saved every password for every account. Just turning on this machine for the first time yesterday I immediately downloaded Firefox and set the settings as I had them on the previous machine. As I began getting things in order and all favorites back in place, Firefox did prompt me to save about 4 passwords and abruptly stopped. I have checked all the settings and nothing has changed. No addresses have been blocked, no exceptions. Even addresses and on sites I know for certain will let Firefox save the passwords I am not being prompted. I am at a loss as to what to do.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try the following:
close iWeb.
delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
reboot.
launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.

Once something similar happened to me. The external drives I had set up for FCP to use for some reason were not mounted, and FCP put all its render files on the main drive and I couldn't find them anywhere.
Go to applications, and control-click (and hold down) on your FCP icon; you should get a pop up menu that says "show package contents". Select that, select the "contents" folder, then the "mac OS" folder. See if your quicktime file is in there, or if you've got render files in the "render" folder or audio render files in the "audio render" folder that don't belong there.
That's where FCP sticks stuff when your documents FCP project folders are not available or when external drives you've selected aren't available.
