This is not Adobe. We are Premiere Elements users trying to help other Premiere Elements users with their Premiere Elements workflows. Under those conditions, only Adobe may have the opportunity to access your computer in troubleshooting session between you and them. You can use the following link to contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?product=premiere-elements&topic=using-my-product-or-se rvice
When the link opens, click on the statement "I still need help" to bring up Adobe Chat.
I have no idea if they will charge you a fee for the service ($40 US dollar/hour). It might not even help you (fee or no fee) because you do not have the latest version of Premiere Elements.
What you ask is easy enough. Let me try again with a step by step to see if we can get this working for you in principle and then fine tune the details.
    1. Export your Timeline to a file, using Publish+Share/Computer and then one of the choices
Adobe Flash Video, MPEG, AVCHD, AVI, Windows Media, QuickTime, Image, Audio. I do not know what your project settings are, but I am going to guess at NTSC/AVCHD/Full HD1080i30. That would represent 1920 x 1080 @ 29.97 interlaced frames per second.
The following is going to be a mini test run in principle so we will cut to the core and overlook some things.
    Go to Publish + Share/Computer/AVCHD/ and set Presets = MP4 - H.264 1920 x 1080p30.
Note that there is a field for Save In: near where you set Presets. Set the Save In for Libraries/Documents not C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe  Premiere Elements 11. Keep out of the Program Files for matters such as these.
Go to the Elements Organizer 12 File Menu/Get Photos and Videos/From Files and Folders and then browse to and select your MP4 file that you have saved in Libraries/Documents.
You now should have your video represented in the Elements Organizer 12 with a thumbnail.
Please let us know if that works for you. If not, then please let us know where you need supplemental help to get the task completed. I will re-write if necessary.
We will be watching for your results.
    Thank you.
    ATR
Add On...A little side note for later...If you took your file saved to the computer hard drive and imported that back into Premiere Elements with Premiere Elements' Add Media/Files and Folders, you would get
    a. the file imported into a new project
    but also
    b. a copy of the file automatically placed in the Elements Organizer 12.
If the ideas seem overwhelming, please take the steps on one at a time and follow exactly what is written. You should do fine.

  • Is it possible to edit a pdf with Acrobat Pro XI that was created in LiveCycle?

I downloaded a trial version of LiveCycle awhile back. I created several forms. The trial period ended and I would like to change something. When I try to edit the pdf in Acrobat Pro it tells me that I must use LiveCycle to edit it. Is there a workaround for this? Thank you in advance for any replies.
    Dana

No, all LCD forms can only be edited in LCD.
And the second trial is probably not going to work, unless you install it
    on a different computer.
The best way to salvage your form, in my experience, is to print it to the
Adobe PDF printer, creating a new flat PDF file and then running the Form
Detection Wizard in Acrobat on it and continuing from there. It probably
won't do a perfect job, but it should recognize some of the fields.

  • How to save an edited PDF in Acrobat Pro without any compression

    Hi,
I just edited an existing PDF in Acrobat Pro 9 - actually I inserted some high resolution images in TIFF via the Touchup tool.
What do I have to do to save it without any compression of the TIFFs - I tried a lot, but the outcome is always compressed, showing artifacts.
    Thanks

First, editing PDFs is really only for minor fixups. There is generally no word wrap or such when doing such editing and often then seem to go downhill fast. To edit text, you have to have the font available. If the file was scanned and the OCR applied was searchable text, the only option to edit what is displayed is with a graphics editor, typically PhotoShop. PhotoShop allows Acrobat to have edited graphics and then be reinserted in the file (I don't do it, so can't give details). ClearScan replaces what is seen on screen in the graphic with the text. In that case, you see all of the text and the corresponding errors (often many). You may want to load a graphic (bitmap) with text showing or use a scan and try the various versions of OCR to see what I am talking about. That may help you see the options. Searchable PDFs is more useful if an original is critical, such as in the legal profession.

  • How do you clean up scanned PDF spine shadows?

    Hi,
I am scanning a bunch of articles from a large textbook and using Acrobat Pro X to OCR them so I can have them read aloud with speech to text.
How can I remove the long black shadows created from the spine in the scanning process? I am scanning at 600dpi to PDF which Acrobat does a nice job of producing Clearscan results from.
    Thanks

The method I use is Photoshop. If you have Photoshop installed on your computer then click the “TouchUp Object Tool” and right-click and select “Edit Image.”
In Photoshop use the “Eraser Tool” to remove the black shadows.
If you need to match the background color of the page then use the “Eyedropper tool.” Select the color background and then use the “Brush Tool” to remove the black shadows.

  • How to save new edits and text to photo without creating a new file

I am a new user of PSE 7.  I am able to enhance and add text to my photos but can't save the edits without creating a new PSD PSE file in addition to the original unedited photo.  How do I save the phto itself as edited?

If you really want to make your changes irreversible then use “Save As” and select file type from the dropdown list e.g. jpeg and enter the exact same file name as the original. Click OK to save and OK to overwrite the original.
While this of course is the answer to the question, the idea of overwriting the original is simply a bad idea. If you do this, you can never get back to your original and start again. That text will always be there.
I advise the original poster not to do this. Save your edits as a different name.

  • How to save RAW edits as 16-bit TIFF? Can't find in Aperture, easy on iPhoto

In iPhoto there is "advanced preferences" options to save RAW edits as 16-bit TIFF. Where is this option in Aperture?

I suppose I do not understand how Aperture saves processed RAW photos then; in iPhoto by contrast, the default saves them as JPEG unless the TIFF option is selected.
If you are shooting RAW, Aperture will always store the original RAW file and the sequence of adjustments to produce the image version. It does not render the edited image and create an image file. Only when you export the edited image or share it, will a file of the processed image created.
All editing is always done starting from the RAW file and adding all adjustments. You will see the resulting image in the browser, but the rendered image file will only be created when you need it outside Aperture, and then you can select a suitable export preset.  Edited image versions do not take up much extra space, only for thumbnails and optional JPEG previews.

  • How to save the expense in PDF in transc. PR05?

    Hi,
If I access the transaction PR05 to see an user expense could the expense be save it in the PC in a PDF format?? I don't see an option over there to save an expense in PDF..
Every employee if access the ESS they can see their expenses in PDF but could I search by personnal number in the transaction PR05 and save a user expense in PDF in a local PC?
I already accesed SPRO -> Financial Accounting -> Travel Management -> Travel Expenses -> Dialog and Travel Expenses -> etc and the PDF is active.
    Thanks,
    Carlos

    Hi Carlos
You need to check 1st if yours PR05 from is coming in HTML or PDF format while doing the simulation .
If  your expense form  is displaying in HTML format  then you can not save it.
So if  you want to change this HTML to PDF, you have to do the configuration table.
V_T702N_A  Accounting Control in Expert View.  here  you need to make change in  other settlement in
Position 4 th  to 0 .This will display based on below condition. so change it as per your need.
If you want to display it in PDF then it must be ZERO
0 = All travel expense forms in the Web Dynpro interface and the forms for the travel manager, travel expense manager, weekly report, and single-record entry in the SAP ERP system are displayed as PDF-based forms (Adobe).
1 = All travel expense forms in the Web Dynpro interface and the forms for the travel manager, travel expense manager, weekly report, and single-record entry in the SAP ERP system are displayed as ABAP lists or HTML forms. This does not apply to the travel request and travel plan forms.
2 = All travel expense forms in the Web Dynpro interface and the form for the travel manager in the SAP ERP system are displayed as PDF-based forms (Adobe). The forms for the travel expense manager, the weekly report, and single-record entry in the SAP ERP system are displayed as ABAP lists or HTML forms. This does not apply to the travel request and travel plan forms.
So  your PR05 form will diaply in PDF & save it in your PC.

  • Problem editing scanned PDFs

I'm working with a lot of scanned old books. Sometimes I download one from Google Books or another site and want to get rid of the first and last couple of empty pages. The weird thing that happens in Preview is that the new file after extracting the pages I need from the PDF is always HUGE. For example, a scanned PDF of some 160 pages is 6,5 MB. After extracting 150 pages from it, it's 356 MB (!!). The same happens with merging. Merged two PDFs of 15 MB each into one the other day, and the new file was 60 MB. I know that there must be a good reason for that, but it's totally beyond me. It's the same whether I print to PDF or drag and drop. I even tried the Super PDF Utility from the Mac App Store, which enables me to simply delete some pages from the file and the result was the same. So I guess it must be something about the scanned PDFs. But it happens with all scanned PDFs, no matter where I got them.
So my question is (assuming I'm not doing anything wrong), does anybody know about a not-too-pricey app that would split and merge scanned PDFs without going nuts with the size of the files?
Ok, that's one part of the question. The other is more general and relates to the first: I've been looking for a PDF editor app that would do the following:
split and merge as described above
make my scanned PDFs searchable (means adding an invisible OCR layer, but keeping the scanned appearence of the pages)
if possible, convert the raster or bitmap to vector (in my case, smoothing the fonts on low quality scans)
I should note that the books I work with are almost exclusively text only. I've been searching for an app like that but the feature descriptions are not always so precise. I hope this is not inappropriate for this forum. I'm willing to spend reasonable amont of money, but not Acrobat Pro money.
    Thanks a lot!

Find one the "Jones" can you select the text of the word "Jones"? If not you have a graphic the the PDF/A issue is a red herring.
