How to save a location in reader?

I have a 3000 page + pdf file. My question; is there a way to save my current location so that I can return to where I left off?
Thanks ahead to all that helps me with this one.

Is it possible to see if it is set to "open page 1". It did not show up in the "properties" settings, is there another place I could check?
Not with Reader no. That area only shows in Acrobat.

How do I save a specific location on Here Maps?
I would like to save my current location which is identified by the green halo on the map. Example - I went for the first time to a friend's place and I would like to be able to save this location to my favourites.
On my previous phone which had Nokia Maps you could save a location but I can't see a similar option on the Here Maps. Thanks in advance for your help/suggestion. I am using a Lumia 520.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

My fairly new 820 also has the add (lisää) button.

  • How to save it by Adobe Reader

After I edited by Acrobat Pro XI, then I open it by Adobe Reader.
However, after I fill all the blank that I would like to save it as a file.
But I could print it only, but no save it.
How can I save it after I fill all the blank by Adobe Reader?
Please help and answer me asap.
    Thank you in advance.

Before Reader 11, in order to save a modified form in Reader the document must be Reader-enabled. Exactly how you do this depends on which version of Acrobat you have, but in Acrobat 11 it's:
File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)

    hi,

Why is Acrobat involved in this process at all? Why don't you save directly the pdf from your email program directly where you want it to be? Acrobat is just adding another step to this process.

Can you please tell me how to save filled PDF in adobe reader 9.0 with all the filled details

You cannot buy 8 or 9.
In X (10 - which you can't buy either), you can do File > Save as > Reader Extended PDF > Enable additional features.
    Important notes:
    1. KEEP THE ORIGINAL. Once rights are added many kinds of editing are permanently locked out.
    2. THERE ARE STRICT LIMITS on the number of people who can save a form. Details in the EULA: check it carefully (or have a lawyer check it).
Also note that Reader XI can save forms with no special preparation.

  • How to save a Form as a read-only pdf?

I created a form in Acrobat X. I need to be able to send this form to some of our team members so they can fill out and save it as a read only file that can then be sent to customers. How can I do this?

Reader 10/11 has a means to flatten a form as part of the EchoSign e-signing tools. They could fill-in the form and select: Sign > I need to sign > Signed. Proceed to Send > Save a Copy
You'll just need to instruct your team members how to do this. It is more secure (for lack of a better term) since it removes the form fields but leaves their appearances, making it more difficult for someone to change. Most people wouldn't know how to change the values of read-only fields, but it's quite easy for someone who does.
This option won't be available if the document is Reader-enabled, but if your team members are using Reader 11 they will be able to save a form without it being Reader-enabled.

  • How to save the data from AI Read.vi?

    Hi,
The main target is that testing the strength of a object which is extended by a force. The desired results are
    1. The strength of object under the force(main target, I am trying now);
    2. Displacement of object being extended(I have mimicly done);
    3. Images of deformation of the object extended(I have mimicly done).
    4. The sub procedure will stop when the object under testing is broken. I intend to use the big pulse from force sensor by analizing the data acquired.( it is more difficult if using machine vision).
What I am mainly trying to do now is implementation of a sub vi to collect the data which is acquired from channel 0 of PCI-6052E which is connected to a force sensor. I have tried to use an existing exam
ple as attached with some modifications. I have tested the data from the sensor by comparing to measurement by multimeter and it takes sense. But
    1. I still don't know how to save data displayed by AI Read.vi? And use what kind data type could save more memory?
    2. I think that memory management is very important because each points of the result includes its strength, image and displacement. How can I acquire enough significant points for the final results being reliable and save these data down to an array or cluster synchronously? (each sub procedure has no time limited)
3.Because I think that a continuous data acquisition would occupy ALL CPU TIME and their related images and displacements would have no chance to be taken down by CPU at the same moment. Am I right?--I am sure that it is not very difficult problem but my mind is still in caose and the time is quite limited to me now.
I am looking for your sugguestion or solution or control philosophy too. You can modify the fi
le attached if you can. I will learn from your idea.
Thank you very much for your time and energy!

    Hello;
Regarding your question on the data type that would use less storage space, the answer is binary type. Actually, you can use another shipping example as start point of your application. The example I'm mentioning is a data logger, that saves binary data to a file on your hard drive. You can find that example at Search Examples->I/O Interfaces->Data Acquisition->Data Logger->High Speed Data Logger.
Regarding your question about the CPU time, the statement is valid. In case you use a synchronous AI task, the CPU execution will get stuck inside the AI Read.vi untill the buffer is ready to be read. One thing you can do about that is to change the acquisition task to be asynchronous. There is a good example in Labview showing how you can accomplish that.
You can find the example at Search Examples->I/O Interfaces->Data Acquisition->Analog Input->DAQ Occurrences.
You can combine both examples to accomplish the task you need.
    Hope this helps.

I have seen a tip that to save an article for reading later, a book icon which appears on the title bar should be long pressed, but the icon does not appear in my title bar at all, for me to be able to save. Please guide me. Thanks.

    Hello,
For some sites, you just can't use this feature. It works best on sites that are articles-with mostly words on the page. So, that is why you can't use it on here (support forum) for example. Good only for sites with reading sections, but sometimes it just doesn't do it.

  • Acr. Reader 9. How to save as RFT?

Exploring "About Plugins" "Saveasrft.api" is loaded.
But how to save as RTF? In File only appears "Save a copy" and "Save as txt".
Win xp prof and Acrobat Reader 9.4.6

This is the Acrobat forum, not the Reader forum. To save as RTF or DOC you will have to purchase Acrobat. You can not save to anything with Reader. It may be that someone has written a plugin for Reader that does the job as you indicate, but it not an Adobe plugin for Reader. If you check at Google, in indicates the plugin for Acrobat. Apparently there may be some free downloads for Reader, but I would take care as you may be loading a virus on your system.
You may get more useful information in the Reader forum. For Acrobat users such a plugin would be preinstalled and is part of the Save As options. I have no clue about Reader. The name of the product suggests up front that you should not expect such save options from a free viewer. For example, MS does not add saveas capabilities with its' free viewers for OFFICE products.

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take a few minutes to run, or perhaps longer if you have literally millions of files in your home folder. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
