How to save all event viewer log files in Windows 7 Professional

Hello,
I would like to save all Event Viewer logs from my Windows 7 Professional computer and be able to view them from another computer. Currently I can only save one log at a time. Please let me know how I can save all Event Viewer logs
(Windows Logs, Applications and Service Logs, etc.).

Is it possible to create materialized view log file for force refresh

Is it possible to create materialized view log file for force refresh with join condition.
Say for example:
CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW VU1
REFRESH FORCE
ON DEMAND
AS
SELECT e.employee_id, d.department_id from emp e and departments d
where e.department_id = d.department_id;
how can we create log file using 2 tables?
Also am copying M.View result to new table. Is it possible to have the same values into the new table once the m.view get refreshed?

You cannot create a record as a materialized view within the Application Designer.
But there is workaround.
Create the record as a table within the Application Designer. Don't build it.
Inside your database, create the materialized with same name and columns as the record created previously.
After that, you'll be able to work on that record as for all other within the Peoplesoft tools.
But keep in mind do never build that object, that'll drop your materialized view and create a table instead.
Same problem exists for partitioned tables, for function based-indexes and some other objects database vendor dependant. Same workaround is used.

Hi,
Once a concurrent request is completed, Log and Output file is created and details can be fetched using below query,
SELECT OUTFILE_NAME,LOGFILE_NAME
FROM fnd_concurrent_requests
WHERE request_id = <Your Request ID>
This will tell you the file name along with completed path.
You can copy this files to other locations and need third party tool to read this files.
I hope this helps, how to view log files from other tools.

In Adobe 8 how do you create a bates log file?

I love this feature in Adobe 9 where one can select "output options" and change the way the bates stamped PDF is saved, to create a log file of bates numbers per document, etc. Are these same output options and bates log file options available in Adobe 8? This is a great utility---thanks for sharing it! The Javascripts folder can be hard to find--here's what worked for me:
For Macbook Pro users using Acrobat Pro X with OS X version 10 or greater, you’ll want to copy the unzipped “UVSAR_selectiveFlatten.js” file into the JavaScripts folder located in this path:
/Applications/Adobe Acrobat X Pro/Adobe Acrobat Pro.app/Contents/Resources/JavaScripts
*** IMPORTANT: To be able to see the Contents folder, you must Right-Click (Ctrl-Click if you don't have a right button) on the filename "Adobe Acrobat Pro.app", then select Show Package Contents from the pop-down menu. The Contents folder will appear in a new window and you can navigate to Contents/Resources/JavaScripts, and put the “UVSAR_selectiveFlatten.js” into the JavaScripts folder.
Once you've done that, restart Acrobat Pro and you'll find the "Flatten" option in your Edit menu. VERY handy! Tip: might want to save your original PDF file as a different version just to be safe---once you flatten the PDF, it can't be undone, so either just print and don't save, or save as different version if need be.

Step 1. Connect Your Android Phone to Computer

GlassFish View Log File opens in editor instead of console

I've noticed that search is sometimes quirky in the console, yes. But that always felt like a bug in platform. Other than searching, usability of the console is superior: Automatically scrolling, Clear Console, Scroll Lock, Show Console when output changes, being in a view instead of an editor.
The editor is so bad that some people here refuse to upgrade to the new plugin version, instead installing the Indigo version from old workspaces.
How about just offering both in the context menu? They could be named something like View Log in Console and View Log File in Editor.

Kereros error in event viewer logs.

We have configure Vintella SSO on XI3.1 previously and for some reasons now we have changed to NTLM SSO but still we are observing kerberos error in event viewer logs.
Error1 : Kerberos error was received on log on session , client time and server time etc.
Error 2: Kerberos client received KRB_AP_Error_Modified server host/fully qualified name .THis indicate that password encrypts the kerberos service ticket different than that on target server commonly this is due to identically named machine account in the target realm and the client releams.Please contact your adimistrator.

That's a Microsoft Error coming from a Microsoft log, I can't be sure what's causing it, you need to consult Microsoft.
Usually in their errors the service account that generated it (if by a service account) is one of the details or in the error message. You may need to stop running something with a service account...

If you just need a CSV then search for DUMP_CSV at http://asktom.oracle.com or at this forum
If you need formatting and/or multiple worksheets then you can use free tools like

linuxoid, I suspect he (and I) are looking for a way to save the contents. After all, a control that you can't get the information out of is pretty useless.
Styled text is often just a BLOB to the rest of the app. It is in my case, and it probably is in his.
I'm having the same trouble he is.
I want to make a JTextPane, let the user edit it, then get some reasonably portable representation of it's current contents that I can serialize. A string representation of XML sounds dandy. Incomprehensible binary is acceptable. A representation in some markup language that I can insert in some other document and have it act like I'm inserting text in the editor would make me more than happy.
Ideally, what I, and probably he, are looking for is something like
JTextPane myPainIsGreat = new JTextPane();
... life goes on...the user writes poetry and turns the words tacky colors...
String thisICanDealWith = myPainIsGreat.getStyledTextRepresentation();
knowing better I'd settle for
myPainIsGreat.writeStyled(someWriter)
sadly, JTextPane's write just returns unstyled text

The addition of IEV and the IEV signature updates made the sensor updates to large (sometimes doubling the size of the updates).
We have several customers that are monitoring sensors on a global network.
Many of the sensors are connected through low bandwidth connections.
The large updates were causing delays in getting signature updates loaded on these remote sensors.
It became a priority to reduce the size of the updates needing to be pushed to the remote sensors.
These customers are generally using Security Monitor rather than IEV because of the large number of sensors being managed.
So the customers who were not using IEV were having problem because of the additional IEV files having to be pushed to their sensors when they would never use these IEV files.
So it was decided to remove the IEV updates from the sensor updates and separately post these on CCO.
IEV customers were already having to make 2 downloads: the sensor update download from CCO, and the IEV download from the sensor.
So now both downloads are just made from CCO.

How to save my emails and adressbook files from an old ibook (bought around 2002) ?
The screen from the old ibook doesn´t work anymore (logicboard problem I guess).
I saved everything else with starting it in target modus. That worked fine.
I want to delete the files after that as well, because I wanna give away the old ibook and don´t want anyone to read my emails!
Little helpers I have:
A running MacBook
External Screen (and cables to connect)
Fire Wire Cable

Don't know how helpful this will be but I often copy mail from one computer to another, I drag the mail from the mail window to the other computers drop box, then from the other computer double click it and mail asks me what I want to do with it, of course without a screen you'd need to use back to my mac.
If you don't have back to my mac running, you could set up a second user account on the newer mac, import everything via target mode as suggested by c above, and then drag the mail to the first user account drop box.
