How to save an email attachment to phone?

I have an email (from GMail) that contains a small audio file (mp3). How can I detach it and save it to the phone (SD card)?
Thanks.

Thanks to others on this community, the only way I know of is an application called "Download All Files" and it works as advertised.

    Hello, tedrbebe.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Here are the steps on how to save image attachments from your email account to your camera roll.
Save a photo or video to your Camera Roll. Touch and hold the photo or video until a menu appears, then tap Save Image.

  • How to save jpeg email attachment to iphoto?

i'm an iphoto (and mac os x) newbie, and i can't figure out how to save a jpeg attachment that someone has sent me so the image shows up in iphoto. what is the easiest way to do this? i'm using apple mail and iphoto 6 on a macbook pro running os 10.4.5. although occasionally i'd like to save jpegs from my web-based hotmail account too. thanks
MacBook Pro   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

The easiest way to do this in Mail is; next to the attachment field in Mail, you'll see Save & Slideshow. Use the Save pull down menu to "add to iPhoto" & the Slideshow is just what it says, it will do a slideshow of the photos in your email attachment.
I don't use Hotmail, but I'm sure all you do is click on the image, File>Save>Desktop. From there you can drag the image into iPhoto. Or simply drag the image from Hotmail to your Desktop or directly into iPhoto.
    I hope that was helpful.

  • How do I save an email attachment to iCloud

I am trying to save an email attachment to the cloud. How do I do that?

Save the email and forward it (along with the attachment) when you need to send a copy somewhere.  Depending on the type of document it is, if you can open it in some app, and if that app is programmed to sync to iCloud, then that's a way to get it to icloud.  Just tap and hold your finger on the attachment icon (in mail) and from the pop up menu choose the app to open it in - if there is an app capable of opening it.
For Pages, Numbers, etc. formatted files, you can open them in the appropriate Apple app, and if you have set up an iWork page on icloud.com, then you can save the doc to iCloud via the Apple app (Pages, Numbers, etc.).

  • How to save my emails and adressbook files from an old ibook?

How to save my emails and adressbook files from an old ibook (bought around 2002) ?
The screen from the old ibook doesn´t work anymore (logicboard problem I guess).
I saved everything else with starting it in target modus. That worked fine.
I want to delete the files after that as well, because I wanna give away the old ibook and don´t want anyone to read my emails!
    Little helpers I have:
    A running MacBook
External Screen (and cables to connect)
    Fire Wire Cable

Don't know how helpful this will be but I often copy mail from one computer to another, I drag the mail from the mail window to the other computers drop box, then from the other computer double click it and mail asks me what I want to do with it, of course without a screen you'd need to use back to my mac.
If you don't have back to my mac running, you could set up a second user account on the newer mac, import everything via target mode as suggested by c above, and then drag the mail to the first user account drop box.

  • I have an iPhone 4, and I'm able to save photos that have been emailed to me on the iPhone.  However, I cannot figure out how to save a video attachment that has been emailed to me on the iPhone.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have an iPhone 4 and I can save photos (to my camera roll) that have been emailed to me on the iPhone.  However, I've been unable to figure out how to save  video attachments that have been sent to me on the iPhone.  Any help would be appreciated.

Apparently not. I have both an iPhone 4 and an iPad thatbive upgraded to iOS 5.0.1.  While it is reported that if you click on the attached video file and hold that you will be presented a "Save Video" option, all I see is "Quick Look". Thinking it might have been GoodReader, I unknow installed GoodReader but still no option. I wonder if this yet another feature in iOS 5 that doesn't work on upgrades

  • How do i delete email attachements on first gen iphone

    Hello
Can someone here tell me how i can delete an attachement within an email message yet still keep the email?
I am using the apple email program connected to an exchange server.
I am also using an old first generation apple iphone with its final OS 3.1.3  ( i cannot put OS 4 on it)
All the answers i find to this question in google pertain to OS4 and the newer iphones.
Most the answers i have seen say that there is some "remove attachement", or "remove all attachments" button, which i dont see anywhere in my phone.
All my email message menu has is a refresh icon, mail folders icon, delete icon, reply icon, and create new message icon.
None of these icons have any remove attachment capabilities.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm surprised nobody has answered this yet.

  • How to read an email attachement

I cannot read any email attachment on my Ipad. Any suggestion ? Thanks in advance.

Firstly, try a Reset (Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 15 seconds).
As a matter of interest, you should be able to view any attachment. However, you will not be able to save it to a location of your choice (and work on it) unless you have an app that is appropriate. For instance, if the attachment is a PDF then you get the option of where you want to store it, I.e., in iBooks (which is automatically supplied with the iPad) or one which you install such as Goodreader etc. A Word document attachment would require the Pages app or another suitable app. [Just adding this in case you are not aware.]

Have you tried changing the value of src attribute in your code to begin with “http:// rather than “// ?
So your src value should look like http://www.youtube.com/embed/QtJmckpjmfU?feature=player_embedded
    See if that works.

  • Iphone 4s on ios7 will not open or save ics email attachment

My iphone 4s on ios7 will not open or save ics email attachments so I can update my calendar. I have to open them on my PC and then iCloud will sync my updated calendar across all my devices with no problem. However, when I don't have access to my PC I would like to be able to open the ics calendar item (or save it) on my iPhone so I can see what meeting or conference I have been invited to so I can reply promptly and keep my calendar up to date without needing to wait till I have access to my PC.

The exact same thing described above is happening me too and by the looks of this and other forums, its happening alot of people.
I have tried restoring from new and a DFU restore and nothing works.
Think Apple need to own up that this is a real flaw with the iPhone 4 and offer a repair or recall.

  • How to save an email to an open activity or sales opportunity

    Hello,
I am wondering if i can save an email via Outlook save email as an activity to an already open series of activities as a follow up activity.
    Thanks

    Brenton,
Outlook does not integrate to SAP Business One unless you have installed the SAP Business One Outlook Integration add-on that comes on the SAP Business One installation media.

  • How and where to save the email attached files on iPhone 5?

how and where can I save on my iPhone 5 the files (mp3, wav, doc, jpeg, etc.) that come attached to the emails?...
    thanks a lot

Photos attached to an email can be saved to the Camera Roll in the Photos app on your phone. Tap and hold on a photo in the email until you get a choice to Save Image.
Other documents require a suitable app.
PDFs can be saved in the free iBooks app available in the App Store.
Word docs can be saved in Pages or other apps that support text files.
    Etc.
To save a document tap on the doc. You will either be able to view the contents or get a choice to open in some other app,
