How to save as a PDF on answer summary report??

I cannot save summary report as a PDF file. There is a botton which is into convertion PDF, but it does not work and I cannnot push the botton!
could you tell me how to convert PDF asap?

Did you try the things I mentioned?  Refresh the browser, restart the browser and use another web browser?  You should also try clearing the cache of the browser.
This type of thing is difficult to diagnose remotely since it is on your system and not others, usually is fixed by one of the above steps.
I am assuming "11.9.900.152" was the Flash player version, which version of IE are you using?
You can share your form with me and I can try from your specific form on a similar OS/browser/Flash configuration - share with [email protected] following these steps and include a reference to this post in your invitation: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2462
Thanks,
Josh

    Hi pissedadobeuser,
    Does this issue occur with any particular web page?
    Are you able to print the webpage to 'Adobe PDF' to convert it to pdf.
    Which Browser version, OS version and Acrobat version are you using?

  • How to save or export pdf project?

    Can someone show me how to save or export PDF file to other files?  My Acrobat greyed out everything besides "save as".  I cannot save to other format or export to other format. Please help

    It might be that this is a protected PDF, or a type of PDF that cannot be converted (e.g. certain forms). Look under File > Properties -- Security.

  • How to save and print PDFs?

    For some reason, I am no longer able to save or print PDFs that I download from the internet.  This problem developed in the past 2 days, and I never had this problem before.  I am able to see the PDF when I download it, but when I go to the saved file, I get a message saying that the file can't be opened because it is empty.    In other cases, I would get a message saying the Adobe Reader couldn't open the file because it is not supported, and I also get a message saying that the website blocked Adobe Reader. When I try to print, I get a blank page.   I had been using Preview as default to read my PDFs.  I thought maybe the problem was that I should be using Adobe Reader as default, so I switched to that.  That didn't help the situation.  Then, I tried removing all my versions of Adobe Reader entirely from my computer.  I could, however, not figure out how to set Preview as default, again, and I still was not able to save or print any PDFs.  Next, I installed the latest version of Adobe Reader, fresh, in my computer.  Now I'm back to square 1.  And I still don't know how to set Preview as the default reader.  But I don't think that's going to make any difference, as it was the default reader when this problem began.  My operating system is OS X 10.8.5.  My Safari is 6.1.3.  Please help!

    Plus, as I said, I had this problem BEFORE I used the Adobe Reader as the default.  In fact, I switched from Preview, to Reader as the default only because I was having the problem and I thought it would help (which it didn't).  I would now like to switch back to Preview as the default, but don't know how to do this.  Can you tell me how?

  • How to save datawindow as pdf on windows 7 64 bit

    Hello Everyone!
    Please help me. I am able to save datawindow as PDF on Win XP 32 bit by using SAVEAS function and installed ghost script 9.07. The same code does not work on the win 7 64 bit machine. The module which saves datawindow as PDF has been installed on both win xp as well as win 7 64 bit. I tried all the suggestions and code examples on the internet but nothing worked. I would really appreciate if someone could help me with step by step with code to solve this issue.
    Thanks a lot.

  • How to save a flattened pdf from a form

    I feel like this should be easy, but for some reason I cannot get it to work, nor have any of the other help documents worked.  My apoligies in advance if this is a silly question.
    I am using Acrobat Pro X (10.1.2) on a Mac running LION.
    I have a pdf with fillable text boxes.  I need to type in those, then be able to distribute the form so those are no longer fillable, and the form cannot be changed.
    This used to be easy.  I would simply print to the Adobe PDF printer and it would save a PDF that was flat.
    Now this is not an option.  The Adobe PDF printer is not available, and I read it was removed after snow leapard.  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/509/cpsid_50981.html
    However, when I go to print this option is not available and I get the notice: "Saving a PDF file when printing is not supported. Instead, choose File > Save."
    BUT, when I save the resulting pdf is changable.
    I downloaded and installed an action that flattens the PDF.  From: http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2011/02/flatten-form-fields-and-comment-using-a-free-acroba t-x-action/
    However, it only works sometimes.  Other times when it flattens the PDF the text layer goes away.
    Any advice?  I do this often, and I know others do too.  So I feel like there should be a quick and easy workflow to it.
    THANKS.

    Hi all, after lots of hours I found a solution for myself.....
    Please do not forget to set the a context-pdfSource-attribute to binary and bind it to the datasource...
    IPrivatePdfCompView.IContextElement contextElement = wdContext.currentContextElement();
             byte[] bytes = contextElement.getPdfSource();
             try
                   File file = new File(filename);
                   FileOutputStream os = new FileOutputStream(file);
                   os.write(bytes);
                   os.close();
                catch (IOException e)
                   // do something
                   e.printStackTrace();

  • Photoshop: How to save as a pdf and display description?

    The only other Photoshop I ever used was CS3, and when I clicked "print" it saved as a pdf first, and I could choose to make it display different metadata. That feature has been removed for all newer versions for some reason, and I have no idea how to do what I want to do.
    I need to save it as a pdf, and display the description/subject metadata under the photo. I can't find anything online on how to do this.

    BlazeHeatnix,
    Due to the current unavailability of clairvoyants and mind-readers in the forum, we respectfully request you supply sensible, complete details.
    Please understand that "CS5" does not clear up the issue of what version of Photoshop you are using.  "Photoshop CS5 12.0.1" would.
    A screen capture would be very helpful.
    Also, have you trued the Print command, then Save As PDF?
    BOILERPLATE TEXT:
    Note that this is boilerplate text.
    If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand,
    such as your platform (Mac or Win),
    exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop (not just "CS6", but something like CS6v.13.0.6) and of Bridge,
    your settings in Photoshop > Preference > Performance
    the type of file you were working on,
    machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,
    what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far,
    what error message(s) you receive,
    if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
    if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
    etc.,
    someone may be able to help you (not necessarily this poster, who is not a Windows user).
    a screen shot of your settings or of the image could be very helpful too.

  • How to "save as" a pdf form with another name? So not over the same document, is it possible?

    I have made a form in acrobat pro and i want use this form on the Ipad. But on the Ipad with acrobat reader save the document automatically and i want save all the versions and not finally one document..Can somebody tell me this is possible or not?!

    It sounds like you want to duplicate a PDF document. View the document list, and click Edit. Select the document to be duplicated. Select the Duplicate/Move icon (on an iPhone the icon shows two documents). Select Duplicate.

  • How to save a scanned pdf file that has been rotated?

    I scanned several pages of a book but I evidently did it upside-down.  I rotated the pages 90 degrees, twice, and then saved the document with a different name.  But when I open the new document, the pages are still upside-down.  How can I correct this so that I don't have to re-scan all the pages?

    Thank you. As it happens, I'm still running Acrobat 9, so the drop-down commands are a bit different:
    Document > Rotate Pages allows you to rotate selected pages.  It worked, and then when I saved the document and re-opened it, it was exactly as I wanted it!
    What had not worked was using the Rotate Clockwise option after right-clicking on a page.  That allows the user to view the rotated document but not to save it in that view.
    Thanks again.

  • How to save an edited PDF in Acrobat Pro without any compression

    Hi,
    I just edited an existing PDF in Acrobat Pro 9 - actually I inserted some high resolution images in TIFF via the Touchup tool.
    What do I have to do to save it without any compression of the TIFFs - I tried a lot, but the outcome is always compressed, showing artifacts.
    Thanks

    First, editing PDFs is really only for minor fixups. There is generally no word wrap or such when doing such editing and often then seem to go downhill fast. To edit text, you have to have the font available. If the file was scanned and the OCR applied was searchable text, the only option to edit what is displayed is with a graphics editor, typically PhotoShop. PhotoShop allows Acrobat to have edited graphics and then be reinserted in the file (I don't do it, so can't give details). ClearScan replaces what is seen on screen in the graphic with the text. In that case, you see all of the text and the corresponding errors (often many). You may want to load a graphic (bitmap) with text showing or use a scan and try the various versions of OCR to see what I am talking about. That may help you see the options. Searchable PDFs is more useful if an original is critical, such as in the legal profession.

  • How to save filled in pdf

    taking online course with pdfs.  cannot save pdfs after filling in info fields.  help.

    You cannot buy 8 or 9.
    In X (10 - which you can't buy either), you can do File > Save as > Reader Extended PDF > Enable additional features.
    Important notes:
    1. KEEP THE ORIGINAL. Once rights are added many kinds of editing are permanently locked out.
    2. THERE ARE STRICT LIMITS on the number of people who can save a form. Details in the EULA: check it carefully (or have a lawyer check it).
    Also note that Reader XI can save forms with no special preparation.

  • How to save dynamically generated PDF files with proper file name?

    Hi,
    I need to save the pdf file with default name which generated by
    dinamically.
    this is the code i am trying to save by default
    protected void processRequest (HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
    throws ServletException, IOException
    OutputStream bos = response.getOutputStream ();
    // this returns pdf byte array
    byte  ios[]  = callReport ( reportId_param , fullyQualifiedReportClassName , paramHashMap ) ;
    response.setContentType ("application/pdf");
    // reportId_param and reportName_param supplied from some where
    String docName =  reportId_param + "_" + reportName_param ;
    if( fromDate_req != null && toDate_req != null )
                    String dateStr = fromDate_req + "_to_" + toDate_req ;
                    dateStr = dateStr.replaceAll ( "/" , "_" ) ;
                    docName = docName + "_" + dateStr ;
    // here docName would be like "RP_COM_COLL_01_Message_Details_03_09_2008_to_03_09_2008"
    response.setHeader ("Content-Disposition","inline; filename=" + docName ) ;
    bos.write (ios);
    bos.flush ();
    }the above code produces pdf in browser when calling this URL
    http://localhost:8080/DAD01TN0801027/RWReportServlet
    In browser we can save this PDF by using two ways
    1. File -> Save As
    2. By using Save Icon within the PDF toolBar
    both the actions uses the file name "RWReportServlet" as default instead of using docName
    Can any one help me please
    Regards
    Sakthivel.

    That said, your code is not very efficient. You're storing the complete PDF file in memory. What if the PDF file is fairly large? And what if multiple users download multiple large PDF files simultaneously? Your server would run out of memory. Rather use InputStream instead of a raw byte[]. And preferably buffer it.
    You should also be setting the content-length header by the way.

  • How to save a locked PDF unlocked?

    I used to save locked PDF files unlocked on my MacBook.
    In Preview:
    Before I'd opened the PDF file, I used the option: 'save as'
    Then I filled in the password and used the option: rename/rewrite file.
    The option 'save as' is no longer in Lion.
    Any suggestions??

    Open the PDF in the PREVIEW app
    Enter the password to unlock the document/PDF
    Go to Print option
    In the bottom-left window of the PRINT screen, select PDF
    Select Save As Option
    Preview will pop-up a message saying that the file will be saved as a copy as the original document is/was password protected.
    Provide a path and PREVIEW will save a unlocked PDF

    this thread has some tips:

    not sure if they mention it, but xournal may also kind of work (annotates pdfs by turning them into an image, basically)
