How to save documents in their original format?

Hi,
we have the problem that we have to save and archive received documents at the adapter engine in their original format, p.e. EDIFACT- or RosettaNet-documents in their original EDIFACT- or RosettaNet-format.
Is it possible to save the documents at the adapters in their original format?
I didn't find any documantation about this.
Has anybody a solution for this problem?
Regards
Thorsten

It may be that you need to click the disclosure arrow, similar to the image here... next to the title. If not that, can you show a screenshot of what you mean ?.

  • How to most efficiently export photos on their original format with all metadata and adjustments?

    How do I most efficiently export photos on their original format with all metadata and adjustments applied? I am looking for a solution for exporting corrected photos between computers with Lightroom 5 installed. Preferably with no exporting or merging of catalogs.
    Thanks in advance for you support,

    And yet exporting a catalog is the perfect solution for communicating with another LR catalog...
    But if you really want to export photos , File>Export should work. I guess I don't really understand what your concerns are.

    Hi Satish,
    First, your SAP system must be configure by the basis people in order for you to send an external mail.
    Whether it can send pdf or other file format will depends on the Mail Server you are using.
    The basis people must also maintain the conversion parameters so that SAP knows how to convert the billing documents to be send as a pdf file or other desired format specified by your company.
    Finally, you have define the IMG in Maintain Output Determination for Billing Documents (Output type MAIL)
      Reward points if this helps.

  • How to save layout with ALV Pivot format

    Hi
    In ALV report I have  25 fields but I want to use 10 fields out of 25 fields in Pivot Table. My problem is how to save this layout with Pivot format for on going use. At every time execution of report I need not required to set  Pivot Table.
    Please help me.
    -Sanjay

    Hi,
    Are you using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY? If yes, then pass 'X' to the parameter I_SAVE while calling the fm.
    if you are using Object Oriented ALV, then call the below method before calling the method for display
    DATA : gr_layout TYPE REF TO cl_salv_layout,
           gr_layout_key TYPE salv_s_layout_key.
    CALL METHOD gr_functions->set_all
      EXPORTING
        value  = IF_SALV_C_BOOL_SAP=>TRUE.
      MOVE sy-repid TO gr_layout_key-report.
      CALL METHOD gr_table->get_layout
        RECEIVING
          value = gr_layout.
      CALL METHOD gr_layout->set_key
        EXPORTING
          value = gr_layout_key.
      CALL METHOD gr_layout->set_save_restriction
        EXPORTING
          value = if_salv_c_layout=>restrict_none.
      CALL METHOD gr_layout->set_default
        EXPORTING
          value = if_salv_c_bool_sap=>true.

  • How to save documents on my iPad

    How to save documents on my iPad

    If you are asking how you save Word or Excel files - or maybe even PDF files - you need to have an app on the Pad in which you can save them. Apps like Documents to Go and Quick Office Pro are compatible with the full suite of MS office Apps and Apple has Pages (Word) Numbers (Excel) and Keynote (Power Point) that will work with the office apps.
    Pdf files can be saved in apps like iBooks and Adobe Reader and others with even more functionality such as GoodReader and Save 2 PDF.
    I think that what Chris meant is that the files are saved automatically in the app after you create them or move them into the app from email attachments. You can tap on an attachment and use Open In and whatever compatible app you have on the iPad will appear in a window from which you can select to open and save that app.

  • Exporting photos from Lightroom in their original format

    Hi all,
    My Lightroom library contains photos from multiple photographers. What I'd like to do is select all of a particular photographer's photos by choosing 'Creator' from the metadata browser and export the selection to a single folder. However, Lightroom's export options force me to chose from JPEG, DNG, TIFF or PSD formats. Most of them are JPEGs already; I don't want to recompress them again (or save them in an uncompressed format, which would be pointless). I just want to make a copy of the files as they exist in the library, without modifying them. Does anyone know if this can be done, and if so, how?
    Cheers,
    Nick

    So far as dragging the file "out of" the Lightroom content area I think you'll find that it works the same way as Bridge (i.e. the sidecar does not travel with the original file). In the Bridge you need to use the Move To or Copy feature if you want the XMP sidecar to travel.
    So... In Lightroom, how is it properly done then?
    I shoot RAW only, and I have found occasion where I would like to collect a copy of the RAW files to give to someone else for editing. While I might be able to use the Windows Explorer, what am I supposed to do if the images reside in different directories? I can't export them because Lightroom doesn't let me export a RAW copy (in other words, I can't export a CR2 file and end up with a CR2 file outside of Lightroom), and I can't drag and drop them because 1: this doesn't work on Windows, and 2: the sidecars don't copy with the RAW files.
    Thanks for the tips and info.

  • How to Save to RTF or Word Format?

    I'm just getting started with Framemaker.  I'm trying to figure out how to save an existing Framemaker book to an RTF or Word compatible format.  The Framemaker 9 User Guide says it's an option on the SaveAs command, but RTF isn't one of the available options I see.  Am I missing an add-on module to support this file format perhaps?  Or am I just looking in the wrong place?

    Saving as RTF is usually at the bottom of the dropdown list:
    [Ignore the red circle - recylced screen capture - more or less the same as in FM9]
    However, the RTF from FM's filters isn't all that stellar in moving FM docuemtns to Word format. The Mif2go tool fom Omni Systems is highly recommended for excellent conversions. See: http://www.omsys.com/dcl/mif2go_main.htm

    2) Fix your sticky keyboard for the '?' and '.' keys. Only one of those characters is generally needed to denote a question or the end of a sentence. Two or more often denotes a dweeb.

  • How to turn a pdf file into excel document and keep original format

    I Have an excel bid form that i use all the time ,then i convert it into a PDF  And once in a while i need to add something to it  I paid for acrobat but when i try to turn the PDF back into an excel document the format is changed , the columns are in the wrong places And it does not look at all like the original excell form is there any thing i can do to  fix this If not this will be useless to me  any help appreciated

    A PDF does not contain any spreadsheet, word processing or page layout file format information.
    No "format", columns, rows, etc.
    "When you create a PDF, you’re painting a picture. Your paintbrush is the is the result of a combination of the software used to create the source document and the software you’ve chosen to convert your source document into the universal electronic document format we all know as PDF.
    Like the painter’s brushstrokes, each character, each line and each image is fundamentally independent, but they can interact with each other to produce particular visual effects. On the PDF page, objects are connected by a coordinate system and not a lot else. There’s no logical, semantic connection between the letters comprising a word; characters simply happen at a series of locations on the rendered page.
    As originally designed, PDF is fundamentally a system for painting objects onto a page, plus a whole lot of other features we aren’t talking about right now! There’s no innate concept of words, sentences, paragraphs, columns, headings, images, tables, lists, footnotes – any of the semantic structures that distinguish a “document” from a meaningless heap of letters, shapes and colors. PDF is fundamentally about how the document appears on the page, not how it looks when abstracted from the page."

  • How to save document with pixel aspect correction?

    I have a document which has has a non-square pixel ratio thus requires pixel aspect ratio correction to be turned on to view the image correctly.
    I want to save it as a JPEG for use online however I cant find an option anywhere to make the saved file have the corrected aspect ratio.
    Essentially when I save the file as a jpeg (or any end format) the image is squished. How can I save the file not squished? (ie. burn in the ratio correction)

    As I still work with a lot of Images, being used in SD Video, where non-square pixels are the rule.
    I Save_As PSD, and Import those adjusted PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio) Images. However, that does not work in your case. I have never used JPEG, but wonder if that format is fully supportive of non-square pixels - never needed JPEG, so have never investigated.
    As Web display is on a computer, with square pixels, why the use of non-square pixels for the Web? [Just curious]
    Good luck, and wish that I had more to offer, perhaps PNG?

  • How to save a file in Java Format?

    Hello All,
    I want to save the files I'm writing in my program in java format?
    (I want the result files to end with .java).
    Is there a specific way to do this?
    Thnx in advance :)

    Wait. Are you saying that your java program is creating files, and you want the files to end in .java?
    Are you writing a program that creates other programs? Because otherwise that makes no sense.
    Or are you saying that you're writing Java source code in some editor, and you just want the editor to save the source code files with the appropriate extension? If so, how you do that will depend on the editor.
