How to save or export a multichannel PSD or TIFF to JPG?

I have a file that has one layer  and 9 channels each channel is a diffrent color in the design.
the  design looks great on the scream but there are no options to save the  file as a jpg or png or to export for web.
to get this  file to jpg this is the steps I have to do.
1. File Print  and select Microsoft XPS Document Writer as the Printer
    which  gives me an "*.xps" file.
2. Open the *.xps file in the  XPS Viewer then do File Print then select the Adobe PDF as the Printer.
    which gives me a *.pdf
3. Open the *.pdf in Photoshop and  I will be about to save it to what every format I want.
Note  when I try to print directly to Adobe PDF the print becomes small, i  have adjusted settings and same result aways.

  • How to save or export pdf project?

    Can someone show me how to save or export PDF file to other files?  My Acrobat greyed out everything besides "save as".  I cannot save to other format or export to other format. Please help

    It might be that this is a protected PDF, or a type of PDF that cannot be converted (e.g. certain forms). Look under File > Properties -- Security.

  • How to save or export from iMovie?

    I have version 10.0.4. I cannot share or export or save my movie so I can use it in any way. I can share individual clips to Theatre, but not the whole movie. How can i use my movie if I cannot get it out of iMovie?
    It seems that this is a universal problem. Is this app simply a useless piece of junk?
    It also seems to me that we used to have to finalize a movie project, but there is no finalized option anymore???

    Thanks Josh, that's some help, but if I can impose on you for a little more, I should back up a little.
    I have a movie as an event which I have done considerable editing on and I consider it a finished product. When I select the event, I can export it too, but it's made up of 5 clips and no matter how I try to export it, it always ends up as 5 separate files. I need it as one file for ease of operation.
    Can't seem to find a way to merge the clips no matter what I try to export the whole thing.
    And in "All Projects" there are 2 clips of parts of it - one is 0 secs and the other is 57 secs. My whole event (movie) is a little over 8 minutes, again consisting of 5 clips.
    If you can help me with this, I'll definitely be in your debt. I have spent many hours trying to make it work with no luck.
    Thanks in advance

  • How to save or export your iTunes playlist to re-import for later use?

    How can that be done?

    If you copy your entire iTunes folder to the new iMac, (that would include all the database files in the iTunes folder -- not just your music folder), then you should have your playlists in the new library.

  • Aperture 3 messes histogram when exporting to either PSD or TIFF

    Hi all,
    I wanted to ask a question regarding how Aperture 3 handles the PSD/TIFF files. I've noticed that when i export a RAW file to Photoshop or to any other plugin (Noise Ninja for this instance) and Aperture prepares the file (i.e. makes a TIFF/PSD copy of the RAW file) it messes my histogram. As a consequence in a specific case i am working on now, it brightens up the shadows and lowers contrast.
    Anyone knows why this happens? Is there any way i can stop this from happening?
    Thanks in advance

    P.S: Setting the Black point to the default Aperture value (3) on the TIFF/PSD file generated, results in a very similar result with the RAW file. Could it be the case that during the file conversion, aperture ignores some Exposure settings?

  • How to change a LR5 .psd image to a .jpg image?

    How do I change an LR 5 .psd image to a .jpg image?

    You can’t “change” a PSD to a JPG, but you can make a copy of the PSD image in the JPG format using the LR File / Export or using PS’s File / Save As.  Be aware that a JPG is a lossy format so you’ll lose something when you save as JPG, so use a high-quality to avoid losing too much.
    If “change” means something else then explain in more detail.

  • I'm trying to export an ID image as a jpg and don't know how to save it at 1920 x 1080.

    Could use some advice on the following question:
    I'm trying to export an image as a jpg and don't know how to save it at 1920 x 1080.

    Thanks Eugene. I was taking the question literally—the OP wanted to directly save a .jpg at 1920x1080 from ID.
    If the ID document is set up as 1920x1080 pixels you could export as PDF and open into PS at exactly 1920x1080 by setting the res to 72 in the import dialog.
    Of course the converted PDF has no compression applied (at least to native ID objects) and would have some higher quality than an exported High quality JPEG.
    But the OP needs a JPEG and if you want to compare compression artifacts, you would have to save the opened PDF as JPEG, close and reopened. With PDF there is the option of saving the opened PDF with Maximum quality, which is probably better than ID's JPEG export High quality. But If I compare the 2 methods in a layered PS file it's hard to discern a meaningful difference. See Compare.psd in this zip

  • How to save psd files...

    how to save psd files so other can change (with all fonts and Layers)
    I need to know how to save everything in the psd so others still can use it.??

    Hi,
    If you have photoshop and you are working on it and have used layers , fonts , and other things
    Then after completing your work, click save and it will open save Box,
    make sure the file format in the box should be PSD and then you may save the file and then you can share with any one.
    Any one who has Photoshop will be able to open that file and can edit the layers and fonts..

    how do I save my exported doc in order to send it as an email attachment?

    Plug your ipod in and pull up itunes. Then click on the device name in the left hand side. Click the restore option. When it goes all the way through and says "your device has been restored and is restarting, once it restarts you want to choose the option that says "setup as a new device"

  • How do I save or export my collections?

    How do I backup, save, or export my collections?  I have about 20 collections.  I want to be able to restore them all if my computer crashes and I need to pull everything up on a new computer.  I may also want to have my collections accessible on a secondary computer.

    Actually, you should right-click on the collection and choose the command Export This Collection As Catalog (and check the box next to Include Negatives). This will create a new catalog and you can move this and the photos thus created to the 2nd computer and then in Lightroom on the 2nd computer use File->Import from Another catalog

  • How can we do save and export operation in single step using Plugin?

    Hi all,
         I want to save and export a design in Adobe illustrator  to a specific folder using a plugin. For example i created a design called test , i want to save the test.ai and its converted jpeg form (test.jpeg) in to a specific folder using a plugin instead of using normal save and export operation (File ->Save, File->Export). I want to do the save and export operations in single step.
    Is it possible to do using the plugin?
    Thanks in advance
    Sreejesh K V.

    I have tried both option and still the file is not being saved
    This is what i tried:
    const char *fileFormatName="TIFF";AIDocumentSuite *sAIDocument;
    std::string abc =
    "D:\\Sreejesh\\test.tiff";ai::UnicodeString myString(abc);
    ai::FilePath aiFile1(myString);
    AIErr err = sAIDocument->WriteDocumentWithOptions(aiFile1, fileFormatName,
    kFileFormatExport | kFileFormatWriteAs | kFileFormatWrite ,
    false);
    SPBasicSuite *aBasic = message->d.basic;
    AIDocumentSuite *fSave;
    aBasic->AcquireSuite (kAIDocumentSuite,kAIDocumentVersion, (const void**)&fSave);
    const char *fileFormatName="Photoshop PSD Export";std::string abc =
    "D:\\Sreejesh\\test.psd";ai::UnicodeString myString(abc);
    ai::FilePath aiFile1(myString);
    AIErr serror=fSave->WriteDocument(aiFile1,fileFormatName,

  • HT4075 I don't have any problems merging the documents by dragging, but when I try to save and open afterwards, only the last shown doc was saved, not the combined files I wanted to merge. I tried save and export, how can I create the file after merging?

    Hi, I'm having trouble saving the documents when merging in Preview. I don't have any problems merging the pdf documents by dragging them in preview, but when I try to save and open afterwards, only the last shown doc was saved, not the combined files I wanted to merge. I've tried save and export, but none merge the documents after saving... how can I create the file (with all the pdf files) after merging?

    That's a comment in the file. It has no effect at all.

  • How to save down from InDesign Creative Cloud version to CS5? Have exported as .idml file but still get messages that plug-ins are missing although CS5 confirms it is fully updated.

    How to save down from InDesign Creative Cloud version to CS5? Have exported as .idml file but still get messages that plug-ins are missing although CS5 confirms it is fully updated.

    Yes. Thanks. I misled myself based on another post. Successfully did this by selecting "File," "Save a copy ..." then choosing "for CS4 or later (IDML)"
    It required some patience and several tries, but I think that was due to hardware (memory) being overloaded by CC Cloud version or something. It was a 50 MB, 500-page file and took 17 minutes to convert/save,
    Re-capping: from CCloud to CS5, don't use "Export" (to IDML); use "Save as" or "Save a copy" and select "for CS4 or later (IDML)".
    Advice much appreciated.

  • How to save multiple images from jpeg to psd?

    I'm pretty new at this and have tons of vacation photos. Things I've read have left me terrified of leaving my images in jpeg, but I don't know how to save them all to .psd (and is that really the format I want to use?). I tried, and suddenly I'm out of space on my harddrive, so I think I've made copies of copies and have way more saved than I need. Any advice is appreciated - thanks.
