How to save photo books?

Once I've published a photo book, how can I preserve it electronically for future printing?

You can try this: iP08 - Archiving an iPhoto Book for Editing and/or Ordering at a Later Date

How to save photo from iPad to external memory card?

It's very difficult.  I have read where some people have done this with much angst.  You can use the camera connection kit to load pictures to your iPad.  The reverse is not really supported.  A much simpler solution would be to email the photo to your home email account and then copy it to external memory.

  • How to save photos from Facebook on Nokia Asha 210...

    Hi,
Anyone know how to save photos from Facebook or from Facebook messenger on the Asha 210? Can't seem to find a way to save photos people post or send me to my phone.
    Thanks

hi mate if there are no options within the Facebook app, the only other thing you can try is visiting the mobile version of the Facebook website thru the phone browser itself, and seeing if there is a save picture option in there..

  • How to save a book created in Aperture 3 for future uploading for printing?

How to you save a book created in Apeture 3 to send for printing several months after creating book.  I've create several books, had them printed and get request for reprints.  I don't want to keep the photo files in Aperture for space considerations.

If you are printing through Apple then you have to send the order using Aperture. You could export the book as a new library and archive that to save space in the original library. Keep im mind that exporting this way will not remove the originals from the Aperture library, you will need to remove those yourself.
If you are not using Apple to print the book you would need to save whatever it was (pdf file?) that you sent to be printed the first time.

  • How to save photos from an external memory

How do I save photos to my new MacBook Air from an external memory (StoreEdge)? And how do I know where the photos that I can view in Iphoto are stored? I thought I had copied a whole Iphoto library from StoreEdge to my MacBook, but when I try to remove the StoreEdge it says that it's not possible because it's being used.

You can import the photos into iPhoto by using the iPhoto File menu "Import to Library."
The default location for the iPhoto Library is username/Pictures/iPhoto Library
You should only work with the library using iPhoto (i.e., don't attempt to open the library and work with the files inside directly from Finder).

  • How to share photo books online

How can we share photo books created in iPhoto so others can buy the same book?

Duplicate your iPhoto library and delete all events, that are not needed for the book from the copied iPhoto library (don't forget to empty the trash). Then copy the second library with only the photos for the book to a USB stick and send your friends or family the stick.
Format the stick to MacOS Extended (Journaled) before you send it.

  • How to create photo book from Album without cropping

I just came from vocation and try to make a cool photo book out of my "best pictures" selection. Most images are "as is" from camera, so have "standard" aspect ratio: H/W.
I also happy about composition and would like to keep all or most of it.
I tried several "cool" templates, but can not get results I want: iPhoto randomly place my images on random template, but the painful issue is that it is also randomly crops my images to fit these random layout. It probably try to make it look "cool", but it does not make any sense and does not look cool.
I can do it all manually and select template for every page, also, changing mask for every image (for some minimum of mask still crops more then half of image, so page layout have to be changed). I have about 200 pictures I picked for album and I am not happy about doing it 200 times.
It may work for me if iPhoto just flow images without cropping for fit? Extra bonus would be if I can select images I want "big", "medium" or "small"
Can iPhoto automatically create a simple PhotoBook for printing without killing most images with random and some times more than 50% cropping?

Canon S90 - it is Advanced P&S. When I say crop I does not mean a little bit on sides I mean iPhoto 11 some times crop 50% of image, some times try to zoom on faces. At any rate, most images just rendered useless. Say you have normal landscape picture of person holding some thing in his hands. iPhoto made super wide strip out of it to fit in 1+2 kind of layout, so what you see is upper half with face, object in hands completely out and you can not change mask as at minimal settings it is still cuts more than half of image out.
I tried many Themes, but I can not find one that would not destroy my images, that are very typical, hobbits images, with margin usually big enough for small fit crop, but as it is my trip record I would like to keep (naturally, no?) all details in.
Zoom of face may be cool, but when the rest of image lost, what the point?
I can go one by one, but this is time consuming for 200 images. It just make sense to have "preserve image" settings or "simple" photo book template some where... but I can no find it: all settings in iPhoto are kept to minimum , Apple style

  • How to Save Photos do Mac??

Is there a way to save photos taken with the iPhone onto the Mac?
I have tried e-mailing photos to my own address but I have over 100 pictures now on my phone.

    To add to Ansuz82's response.
In addition to iPhoto, Aperture and Image Capture can also be used to import the photos. The option that is available in Image Capture, and iPhoto 7 (iLife '08), for what to do when a camera is connected will affect whether iPhoto, or another application opens when an iPhone which has pictures on it is opened.
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.
