How to save settings when a worksheet is exported to pdf?

Hi all,
I have a problem when i export a worksheet to pdf in Dicoverer Viewer. Whenever i export the map , i always have to change the column dimensions in printable page options because, by default, the worksheet doesn't fit like i want. I have more than 30 worksheets and it's a little bit annoying and tyring do this process all the time.
Is there a a way to save the settings, to do this process once?

Try setting your column widths in Plus first then save the worksheet and reopen it in Viewer.

The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

How to save the front-panel controllers' settings to different files and retrieve it later?
What I've archived is the "Save Settings" function, but when trying to "Reload Settings", I can only retrieve the saved data to front-panel indicators, but not the controllers!
Can anybody give me some advises?

Just write the retrieved data to a local variable (but make it writable first) or property node of the controls.

While there are books about UNIX, I like the good old man pages. Just type *man command_name* in Terminal to get the manual page for the command.

New to Photoshop;Viewing TV and want to save to MY Library to view later. Can't figure out how to save. When I open or click on My Library it shows I need to sign in and within a few seconds it shows my sign in but nothing changes on page.

Those are the instructions for your computer's iTunes (i.e. using the Store menu at the top of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'View My Account' on it). If you are doing it on your iPad then are you following the instructions for iOS devices :
To unhide your purchases

Program crashes when I try to export to pdf file using CR for VS2010

I'm using VS2010, framework 4.0. I can view, print, and export the report to excel. When I click export, select pdf, enter a file name, and click save...I get the following message:

My parameters are set in the code and are set to "Do not show" in the report. The pdf export did not work before I added the code to limit the export options. The code in JptReportView.xaml:

An error occurs when I try to export a PDF document

When I try to upload a PDF to export, it uploads fine, but when it is converting the document to word, it tells me that there is an error.

Are you converting from the web interface, or via Adobe Reader (and what version? Does the error occur with any file that you try to convert, or is it specific to one file? How many files do you have stored in your Acrobat.com account?

Font is smaller when I print or export to PDF

Dear all,
I have a strange problem when I try to print or export to pdf my .pages document.
I use FontAwesome.otf in order to have some nice icons but when I print the document this icons are smaller then the document.
I also try to make them bigger but they get reduce anyway.

To install fontawesome you simply download the kit from this link. Once you unzipped the file you will find the .otf font inside the folder 'font'. Then simply drag and drop the font inside your fontbook.
To insert an icon in pages you simply copy and paste it from the cheatsheet. Remember to change the font to FontAwesome in the Format > Text panel otherwise you would not see the character.

How to fix InDesign CS6 cloud crashes while exporting to pdf?

Hi My InDesign CS6 cloud crashes when exporting to pdf.
It's a Mac Book Pro, OS X 10.7.4. It shows a blank warning, and then there is a long report, here is part of it. Even all my old files can't be exported to pdf. Can any one help?

Indeed. To be more specific, typically program execution begins in a main() function, which calls some other function (say, to handle menu selections), which calls some other function (whatever menu function the user chose), which calls some other function, etc., etc., perhaps 30 or 40 functions deep.
Because of the way C++ calling conventions work, the history of which function called which other function is preserved in a data structure known as the stack. (The stack also does other things). Under normal circumstances, this "stack trace" is reconstructed to form the crash report.
There is one stack trace for each thread (parallel execution components of the program), but the thread that crashed is usually the only one of interest.
In this case, thread 0 crashed. Its stack trace is meaningless. It contains two stack frames (e.g. functions). At the top, the most recent function is called _XHNDL_trapback_instruction, which is a pseudo address that basically tells us nothing, other than there was some sort of fault.
But typically we will see what function called that top function; and the function that called that; etc., etc.
In your case we do not. Allegedly the crashing code was called from the address 4294967295, or in hexadecimal 0xffffffff. And that is the largest number that a 32-bit word can hold. It is, sadly, garbage.
So your stack trace tell us zilch

I have just upgraded from Firefox 3.6.x to Firefox 4. I had assumed that the new version would use the same settings as the previous one but it doesn't
The previous one always asked if I wante tabs saving when I closed it but this version (4) does not.

I assume you are talking about the touchpad on a laptop.
It helps to give as much info as possible when asking for help.
What is the model number of your system and the OS version?
You can navigate to the mouse/touchpad settings via the control panel. Find the Tapping tab or look for the Synaptics tab and locate Tapping from there to check or uncheck the box (depending on if your laptop is Synaptics or Alms based).
If for some reason its not showing up in the Settings window, you may need to install the touchpad driver for your system.
I would need to know what system you have in order to find the right driver in that case.

I query the tables and open excel to write in
The problem is even I chopped the result into hundred files, close excel completely after 65536 rows, the memory usage keeps going up as the result set is looped and at one point hit the heap size
How can I release the memory has been used in the result set?

No. That is not issue here. I already use max heap size I can
but I can handle it now. Open files, write directly to the file instead of holding the data and dumping all at once. I save all the overhead and it works fine even the result set still consumes almost all the memory.is it possible you are using mysql? the mysql jdbc driver has a terrible default setup in that it keeps all results for the result set in memory ! i think some of the latest drivers finally allow you to stream results sensibly, but you have to use the correct options.

I've just purchased Toshiba 40RL933. I use it for digital TV channels by local TV provider in Ukraine. While setting up this TV I've found that if Ukraine is selected in countries list then the message apperas that DVB-T is not available in this country. So I've got the ability to get digital channels only by selecting Germany.
Everything is fine now but the language - such channels as Euronews start speaking german language every time I turn my TV on. I can select another language, but I cannot save these settings.
Can anyone explain how can I save the selected language of the channel forever?

P.S. Truly saying I don't understand why Toshiba has locked DVB-T for Ukraine. I've found it as at least "strange" solution.

This site only supports models from the US. I'd recommend you contact Toshiba in your region.

I used firefox version 3.6 for a long time. Now, with the newer versions, I find I miss one very important feature. It may be a bug, it may be something I'm doing wrong. Whatever the case may be, I now cannot save websites with the custom stylesheet overwrites via stylish or greasemonkey. In the version 3.6 the website was saved the way it was displayed. Any and all script and css changes made through these two extensions, not to mention the adblockers were taken into account. Now the original website gets saved, and the overwrites are discarded. All the annoying javascripts/images/css I'd blocked get downloaded and displayed.
Either I'm doing something wrong or it's a firefox problem or it's a problem with the add-on mozilla archive format. I don't know.
