How to save updates only

Using DW8. Every time i make small changes & save them to
remote server, i can tell that DW is overwriting EVERYTHING because
it takes so long. Is there a setting I can use so that when i make
small changes it only updates the changed items instead of
overwriting the intire site every time?

When you put a changed page it only puts that page. How are
you saving to
the remote server?

I am trying to figure out how to save/share only a clip out of an entire project.

I am trying to figure out how to save/share only a clip out of an entire project. I do not want to delete the rest of the timeline as I want to cut/copy out several smaller clips and save/share them as their own files. I am working on a copy of my original video, and I know I can just bring the project timeline down repeatedly to isolate this clip by deleting all else, but feel there must surely be a simple way to do this.

You would place the gray tabs of the WorkArea Bar to span just the area to be exported.
The tabs are set...
Move the Timeline Indicator to the start of the segment, hold down the Alt key of the computer main keyboard as you hit the left bracket key [
then
Move the Timeline Indicator to the end of the segment, hold down the Alt key of the computer main keyboard as you hit the right bracket key ]
The critical step is to make sure that you have a check mark next to the "Share Work Area Bar Only" option in the export dialog (if the dialog has that option).

Please help! I'm making a medical book with more then 1300 pages and about 40 different table of contents.
I want to update only the page numbers on all the table of contents. But I only see the option to update the complete table of contents.
I saw on other forums that this is a familiar and very old problem. Did Adobe already fixed this?

Are these tables external to SAP Business One and do not have a Business Object? If there is a Business Object available such as if you were to enter an order, that order would use the Documents object which abstracts you, the programmer, from the underlying tables that need to be updated. If you are handling multiple business objects you would need to wrap the transaction with the StartTransaction - EndTransaction methods. This information is detailed in the SAP Business One SDK Help Center that comes with the SDK.

XML FORM - How to save read-only controls with a default value

Hello everybody,
I have a 3 xml forms, each one to create one type of news. I need to use 3 because each of this forms has their own controls. But the control which indicates the type of news (asociated with a KM Predefined Property) must be common in the 3 forms, in order to use it on searches.
The question is, how can I include in this forms a control:
- Visible for the user
- With a default value defined in the control properties (each form has a different value, corresponding with the type of news)
- Read-only mode
- The value showed in the control must be saved in the associated KM Predefined Property when the user clicks the Save button.
Anyone knows how to do this?
What control can I use?
I was thinking of trying with text boxes, but I don't find the way to make them unwritable (Read only mode).
It is posible using labels?

The first thing I do when I open the Edit.xsl file is do a 'find' for the name of the text field that I want to be read-only (in my test case, it's 'location'). Repeat the find until you see something like:

I put the <xsl:attribute name="readonly"> in both places (when test, and when not test). I'm not entirely sure if that's necessary, but that worked for me.

How to save updates?

i got my macbook on 8th july and it came along with 10.5.2 after updating it now shows 10.5.4
i would like to save the update setups so that in future if i haveto reinstall leopard i dont have to download all of them again. apart from the 560mb update there were a couple of itunes, iphoto etc. updates too.
any insight?

How do I update only recent events in calendar?

I sync my BB with Outlook and my calendar has become VERY large with 5,000+ entries. As a result, it takes a long time to sync my BB. Is it possible to pick a date on the calendar to start my sync such as Jan 1 09 to the present? I would still like to keep my older records but there is no need to sync them since they are in the past and I won't be making any changes to them. It is important that the old records not get deleted in the process.
I have set up a new filter that I named 'date range' to attempt this very thing, but am hesitant to give it a try. I two way sync.

How to save the modified rows in jspx page usind adf default commit action

Hi,
We are displaying some columns of the database table in jspx page. Here we are using adf commit action to save these values to database which is updating all the rows by default. In this page there are some editable columns which the user can miodify. How can we update only these modified rows using default adf commit action. Also we want to update last_updated_date column of that particular row which is modified in the UI from backing bean .
Can anyone please help us in solving this.

A key question - what are you using for the model layer (ADF Business Components, JPA, EJB, etc)?
How are you determining that a "commit" action is updating rows (even those which haven't changed)?
If you are using ADF Business Components - have a read in the documentation about history columns - the use case you describe (updating the last_udpdated_date column) is supported "out-of-the-box" for this.

1 - i wnat to ask few things as i m new to apex, i am using apex 4.1, and created 3 select list and a button in seleting of parameter,

2 select list: select product
3- select list - size of the product

i want to submit only that record that i changed, for that i use the logic that only those records should be updated which are checked but the user. how will i do this ? where to use the preocess , please guide

If I understand what you are trying to do is correct you could possibly do this by:
Creating and AFTER INSERT trigger on the table based on the tabular form which inserts the record into a seperate table after the record is inserted something like:
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER copy_records
AFTER INSERT ON table a
REFERENCING NEW AS NEW OLD AS OLD
FOR EACH ROW
DECLARE
BEGIN
INSERT INTO table b
VALUES :NEW.col1, :NEW.col2 etc......
END;
There is also a way that you could do it within the form using a cursor on the tabular form with APEX_APPLICATION.G_ ......

You cannot. You can only upgrade to the currently supported version of the iOS which, at this time is iOS 7.0.2.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. USe your backup copy to put everything on the new computer, then sync.

If you have iPhone 3G, the latest and greatest is IOS 4.2.1.
If you have iPhone 3GS or later, you can only update to IOS 6.0.1.
