How to scan from hp 6600 printer to eprint

How do I scan from HP Officejet 6600 to ePrint

Hello meanvgreen,
ePrint is not a service that you can scan to.  If you are referring to the ePrint Home and Biz app, it  can be used to scan, but only to iOS devices.  You can find out more information about it here.  If you just want to scan to your computer, let me know what kind of printer you have and I can find the instructions for you.

    Hi,
Automatic Two-Sided printing is not currently supported by the ePrint Service, as you may find any of the service capabilities and limitations listed below:
Duplexing (printing on both sides of the page) is not supported.

How to scan in photos from my HP 1317 combined Printer/Scanner..... please help

This is not an iPhoto issue. It's a system issue.  From what I've read in the Mavericks forum either check the HP website for the latest driver for your model or try using Image Capture, Preview or the commercial VueScan.

  • Can't scan from HP 7520 Printer for iMac using Yosemite 10.10.1

We have a new iMac that is running on Yosemite 10.10.1.  I am trying to get the scan from printer function to work, but the HP window on the printer didn't register the computer.
So I downloaded and installed the  driver for OSX 10.10 from the HP website.  The window on the 7520 now lists the computer when I click the scan function, but the scan fails, and the window says the computer is not connected.
The name on the downloaded file says it is for "Mavericks," so I thought maybe it dosen't work with Yosemite?
When I open the printer scanning settings on the iMac, it tells me that the "enable scan" function isn't working, and that I need to download the latest software from HP.
    I thought I did that.
Is there a  way to make this work?
    Thanks....

  • Has anyone figured out how to scan from an HP officejet Pro 8600 after upgrading to OS 10.9.4

Has anyone figured out how to scan to  a MacBook Pro with 10.9.4 from HP officejet Pro 8600?

iMovie acts as it does, I suspect, because it's so much safer (and easier) to program.
As iMovie is now structured, each clip has a startFrame and an endFrame. They show the starting point and ending point of that clip in its source file. There's only one of each. Simple.
For us to remove a portion of the middle without splitting the clip in two, iMovie would have to allow each clip to have multiple start/end points. So iMovie would have to "remember" that the clip starts playing at frame 100, stops at frame 120, starts again at frame 150, stops at frame 200, and so on. Very complicated.
The amount of data that would be required to undo a change, for example, could become quite large, and be very, very complicated. Lots of opportunity for errors. Imagine what iMovie would have to "remember" if we could remove the middle, added a title to the clip, remove part of the title, then split the clip and applied a slow motion effect to the second part of the split.
This way is simpler, and not all that inconvenient for users, in my opinion. I prefer simple when it adds to reliability.

  • How to Scan from C3180 on Mavericks 10.9.2

I recently bought a new Macbook Pro with Mavericks 10.9.2.  I downloaded the drivers for my C3180 All-in-One from the HP site and can now print without a problem.  However I can't scan and see no way to do so. There is no HP Scan nor HP Utility programs as there when I downloaded the drivers from the HP C3180 CD to my previous laptop.  What am I missing?

Try scanning from your Mac. Use Image Capture app in your Applications folder.
Click once on the scanner on the left side, then click on Show Details along the bottom. Along the right side you will see LOTS of options for scanning and saving.

    Hi mehaem,
If you're running a Windows based PC, open up the solution center icon that should've been created when you installed the software. Within this application, you should have the ability to scan.
If you're running a MAC OS X based machine, within the applications drawer, in the Hewlett-Packard folder, there is an application called HP Scan. You can execute a scan operation from this application.
    Hope this helps!

  • Does anyone know how to scan from a Lexmark x544 MF on LAN

Although Apple says (see previous discussions) that my Lexmark x544 is supported for printing as well as scanning, it only supports printing. The Lexmark is not recognized on my home (cable as well as wireless) network as a scanner. I'm running OS X 10.6.7. I tried to reinstall the printer, but to no avail. Is there a driver or something I should install? TIA

  • How can I do 2 sided printing with eprint?

I have a printer that can do 2 sided printing, but when I document prints using eprint.  It is only printing single sided which is a waste of paper.  How can I fix eprint to autoprint using 2 sided printing?

    Hey Gamalielle!
Currently there isn't a way to duplex (2-sided) print with ePrint. But just so you know, you aren't the first customer that has suggested we add that as a feature to ePrint. HP is always looking for suggestions to improve our ePrint services and this may get added in the future.

  • Can't scan from Lexmark multifunction printer - firewall issue?

    Hi there!
I got a Lexmark printer/scanner combo which used to work fine on my arch install. However, its mobo died, so now I'm back at another install which refuses to scan. Scanning is done through the browser via a java applet residing on the printer's webserver. The applet does start (so it's not a java issue), but refuses to receive data from the scanner. Within the printer's web interface, it reads
If using Windows XP, the Windows XP personal firewall must be disabled before using Scan to PC profiles.
, so I'm assuming it might be a firewall issue. Lexmark's website provides the following advice:
The following two command lines will open the port 5353 for incoming and outgoing connections:
    iptables -I INPUT -p udp -m udp --sport 5353 -j ACCEPT
    iptables -I OUTPUT -p udp -m udp --dport 5353 -j ACCEPT
NOTE: These steps will work on most distributions configured with IPTABLES. There is no common command to make these rules persistent.
As I don't know anything about IP tables, I've simply copied these commands (as root, obviously). Still, I can't scan.
    So, my questions are:
    1. Has anybody else ever come across an issue like this?
    2. I don't even know for sure, whether this is a firewall issue - What iptabled magic would I need to temporarily disable the firewall to check?
    3. I tried checking my rules by "iptables -L". How can I tell "iptables -L" to specify the ports it is working on (as I did in the commands copied from lexmark's website)?
    Best wishes,
    Rufus

    Hi Bob
I believe so.  We put the install disc into this mac back when we bought it to set up the printer.  I'm assuming the scanning drivers were there as well since it's a multifunctional printer/scanner/fax wireless printer.
We've tried it both ways.  If I press the button scan on the printer, it reads can't find computer (or something like that).  When we go thru the HP icon on my computer screen and choose scan to computer, it does nothing.
We don't scan that often.  So the few times when we ran into this problem, we just did something else (like take a pic from our iPhone and email the pic...kinda stupid but did the trick.
But I want to have the function of the scanner available.  So that's why I'm here asking...thought others had this issue and had a solution.

  • How to change from two sided printing to one page printing on a macbook air

How do you change the printer setting on a macbook air? I go to print something and it prints double sided, is there a way to change that setting?I have an Epson printer that does air printing. Please help!

That would be a function of the printer settings. So once you call up the printer to print something go into the settings and change it from Duplex to single sided printing.
