You can do multiple pages to one file by selecting Scan to PDF. You will have to start the scan using the HP Software. Follow the steps below to do a multipage scan.
1. On the desktop, look for the Photosmart 6510 icon. Double click it
2. Click Scan Document
3. Click Save as PDF and the click Scan. The all-in-one will do a preview scan.
4. Load the next document page on the scan bed
5. Click the button with the plus sign on the lower left hand corner of the preview window. The all in one will scan the page. Keep doing this until you have scanned all the pages.
6. Click on the Save button and follow the instructions on the screen.

  • How to scan multiple pages in one file

I would like to know how to scan multiple pages into one file.  There is no add button that comes up.  I have a HP Officejet 8600 and a macbook pro.  Please help, this would really help me out.

Open Preview and use its "Import From Scanner" option in the File menu. This will launch the scanning interface, which has some standard and basic scanning controls. If you choose "PDF" as the file format to save as, then you will see an option to scan all images to one file. When you do this, you will scan and edit them individually, but Preview will save them to the same file when saved.

  • How to scan multiple pages to PDF

On the scan screen I see nothing that will enable me to scan multiple pages to a pdf file. Any clues or tips

    Hi,
    Please try
Double click printer icon on desktop,
Select Scan a Document or Photo,
Put the first page on the glass (face down),
Check options (size, dpi ...), and select Scan document to file,
Click Scan - machine will scan the first page
Remove the first page on the glass, put the second page,
Click + (plus sign) It sits on the left hand side of a red x
Machine will scan the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click + again ..... to the end then click Save
    Click Done after Save
    Regards.

  • Scanning multiple pages with preview and brother MFC-7440n

    Hi,
because of some problems with my old scanner after i installed snow leopard, i bought a new compatible one. It's a brother MFC-7440n with apple build-in drivers.
When i start scanning to preview with more than one page, there will be a pdf document for every page. It doesn't matter if i choose "create just one document".
First i wondered because in leopard preview multiple pages are displayed like in snow leopard. But this is wrong. There is one pdf file for every page.
How can i change that issue? When i scan more than one page, i wan't one pdf document with multiple pages, not a pdf per page.
    Thanks a lot.
    Dominik

    Hi Dominik,
What about Brother's scanner software? Do they have a scan program you can use to create multiple page documents? I have a Canon, and its software did that. The only other way is how I explained in my previous post. I have no issue using Preview for the simple document scanning I do. But if you have more needs, perhaps the Brother scan program should be installed.
Brother has issued a scanner driver update on 9/10....

    Hi,
From the HP Deskjet 1510 software click on Scan a document or photo.
Select PDF and ensure the Show Scan Preview option is checked.
Set the resolution on 300 PPI or lower and click on Scan.
After the scan completes replace the page and click the plus button below the scan preview to scan the next page, once you are done click on Save and the entire scan job will be saved as a single PDF file.

  • Scanning multiple pages with all in one printer using AiO software.

I have the HP all in one printer and when I scan a document even if I add a page, each page has its own PDF identification. I cannot seem to get multiple pages in one scan that I can email as one document. Please advise.

    Hi Grwltgr
If you have an ADF(Automatic Document Feeder) tray keep all the pages you want to scan and start scan. All the scanned pages will be added in a single pdf.
If you dont have an ADF tray, i might be able to help you if you can let me know the Complete Model Name.
    Kind Regards,

  • I need to scan multiple pages with my HP 6520.

I saw the instructions on how to do it with a mac- but I have a PC- HP Pavillion 21.
    Please help- thank you.

    Hi,
For Windows, after scanning the first page, please don't save, click Add pages (a small lus (+) sign) on the left hand side of the preview window to scan the second page and repeat for all following page(s). You then save after the last page.
    Regards.

  • Fi-5220c with Adobe X standard scans multiple pages with first page garbled. Pls can anyone help? MK

My fi-5220c scanner which i use with Adobe Acrobat Standard X does scans with garbled first page. What am i doing wrong? I use custom scan option. thanks MK

Firstly, there's no such thing as Apache 9.3, there's Apache 1 (and subversions) and Apache 2 (and subversions). Your error message -
    Oracle-HTTP-Server/1.3.28Shows you're using Apache 1.3.28
Secondly, I'm confused by your comment -
I do not have Apache 9.3 or higher but I think oracle should offer this in its companion CDOracle does offer the Apache server, if you're saying you didn't get it from Oracle then where did your Apache server come from?
Thirdly, I notice from your config file -
ErrorLog "|E:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Companion\Apache\Apache\bin\rotatelogs logs/error_log 43200"That you're piping the logs through rotatelogs, are you sure the logfiles haven't just been renamed?

  • Q: How to scan multiple pages into multiple PDFs?

I need to plop a stack of invoices (a couple of hundred at a time) in the ADF on my IR C7055 and have it scan them all into their own separate PDFs.  Currently it scans all the pages into one single PDF.  How can I force it to create one PDF per page?
    Thanks!

Thanks Danny, I already have a call into our dealer's tech line but haven't gotten a return call yet (they can take a few days).
I was hoping someone here had the answer or at least the process to do this on any Canon platform as the terminology used would potentially assist me in at least Googling a solution.  I'm guessing (hoping) that it's a simple thing (a checkbox somewhere), but I can't find it for the life of me.  My Google-Fu has failed me thus far. :-(

  • Scanning multiple pages into one document with an automatic document feeder

when using automatic document feeder to scan in multiple pages - using the Image Capture app, this process does not work for more than 2 pages. However works perfectly in PC environment.
Using a MacBook Pro with 10.8.4 and a Lexmark Interpret 405S All In One Scanner.
Is there any other all in one device that can perform this function in a Mac environment?
    Please advise.

  • Scanning Multiple pages on Macbook Pro with Deskjet 1051

I cannot find any options to scan multiple pages with a Mac osx yosemite.
Also, the only drivers you all have are for the 1050, is it the same?

    Hi 9milli,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with doing multiple scans to the Mac.
If you have not downloaded and installed the Full feature software and driver bundle, you will need to do so.  This is the proper link for the download and to answer your question it the 1051 is the same as the 1050, yes it is.
Please click on the following link for the HP Deskjet 1050/1050A All-in-One Printer series - J410 Full Feature Software and Drivers.

  • Scanning multiple pages from print book into computer

How to scan multiple pages from print book into computer? Someone supplied a link to this question, but I got stuck at step 1: Where is "HP Director software"? In other directions, it says to open the "HP Scan window," but that option is not available to me when I follow the directions. I have an HP 2159m computer, HP Photosmart Plus all-in-one, Windows 7, and use Firefox, if that's any help.
    TIA

    I have a similar problem:
I am using an HP Officejet 6310xi via its TWAIN interface.  Regardless of which application invokes TWAIN (whether Irfanview, Thumbs Plus, or something else), the scanner dialog closes after transferring each scanned image.  To scan the next page requires re-starting the scanner, beginning with a whole new preview and re-entering all my scan settings.  This is only an issue with the HP scanner, not with my Cannon CanoScan LIDE 100, Visioneer OneTouch 8920, or any other scanner, each of whose scanner dialogs stay open for scan after scan.  Can anyone help me make the HP scanner dialog stay open for multiple pages?
Note: Based on a suggestion on another site I set my scan preferences to include "Prompt for Additional Scans from Glass" as follows, but it did not help.
I am experienced at scanning, but I find it extremely frustrating that the HP scan dialog closes, forgetting its settings, after each page.
