How to schedule actions  in photoshop

We are facing problem to schedule the action in photoshop cc and would require help for same.
Please suggest if there is any option available.
Let me also brief the requirement:
There is set of multiple images and different multiple photoshop masking actions which needs to be apply.  So every masking should generate a different output.
For example there is array of images approx 1000 different images.
and there is another array of 50 different layout (object style which include multiple masking actions) which needs to merge with all images, so there will be total 1000x50 = 5000 images
The 1 layout require approx 1 hour to apply on all images
The problem we are facing in action is it only takes one action at a time so we need to know
1- how to define action in such a way that it pick different layout time after completion of previous.
2- Or can we schedule action in time so we will save different actions with different combination and trigger it as per time.
if there is any other better way, plz advise
Thanks in advance

The Image you've attached seems to have been made in Adobe Fireworks. I opened the image in Ps, which advised that it was discarding the additional Fireworks information, and the image appeared on screen with a transparent background. The fish shape is a dark neutral grey (72:72:72 in my sRGB workspace). Why can't you do the same as I have done with the original Image (cropped if necessary to eliminate all but the fish shape) and save it as a PSD, thus giving you the separate file you want?

  • How to use the "Actions" in Photoshop Elements 11

    I am wanting to use the "Actions" in Photoshop Elements 11.  But when I get the actions box up, it is only showing a small list of effects to use.  The tutorials I have checked into all show a very long list of actions. When I click on the little arrow and click on "load actions", I am getting nothing. Everything is blank.  It says "No items match your search."  Please help!

    To use the existing actions, try the following:
    1. Open one of the Action Sets, in this example Special Effects is the Action Set, by pressing the small arrow beside the set name.
    2. Then click on the name of the Action, in this example Faded Ink is the Action name.
    3. Then press the Play button to run the action.

  • Actions in Photoshop Elements 10?

    I'm trying to figure out how to use actions, it looks like it's a great way to edit photos. I'm watching youtube videos and they all say "go to window" and "actions" bar. I did that and when I went to window there was no actions bar? Is that something that isn't included in elements 10? or is there somewhere else to find it?
    thanks.
    Nikki

    That's only in Photoshop. PSE has a limited kind of actions player in guided edit, or you can install actions in the effects panel.
    Texas Chicks has very complete instructions for installing actions:
    http://www.texaschicksblogsandpics.com/photography-page/installing-actions-in-photoshop-el ements/
    However, there are some differences between using actions in PSE and in PS. The action should only include steps that PSE understands (no history snapshot, for instance) and you can only run an action on one image at a time in PSE, not on a folder the way you can in PS.

  • How To Schedule an Hyperion Interactive Reporting Dashboard

    Hi . Can somebody let me know on how to schedule an Interactive REporting Dashboard Report and Export the output in PDF and Email the user.i can see the output in HTML when i schedule a pivot, Chart but i dont see anything when i try to schedule a Dashboard . Any pointers in Greatly appreciated

    Once you have the dashboard scheduled to run/ process your queries.
    Go to run the job. In there you will need to edit the cycle by clicking on Modify
    (This will open another page)
    Under the Actions sections there is a part that says
    Add a(n) select the drop down that says Email Section.
    This will take you to anther window where you can select the section you want to output (in your case the Report)
    who to send it to and what format you want to send it in (default shows Microsoft Office Web archive).
    Hopefully this will help you.

  • CS3: how to create action to add fixed text of foreground color, etc.

    I'm trying to create an action and/or brush preset(?) that will:
    1) Add a fixed text string in the forground color, consistent font, size, etc.
    2) Apply a consistent Layer Style -> Bevel and Emboss setting
    3) Allow me to move the text to whatever position
    4) Change text layer opacity
    5) Flatten
    At some point in the past when searching the internet I came upon a description of how to create a brush preset (I think that was it) that did at least most of this, but somehow I seem to have lost the preset and don't know how to recreate it.
    thanks,

    First it is And/or you can create both or one or the other. For in actions  and scripts you can not automate the use of a brush.
    1) Add a fixed text string in the forground color, consistent font, size, etc.
        Easy if all images are the same size and a little more work if image size vary for you will need to scale the image.
        If you want to scale the image back to it original scale at the end of the action you need to use a little script in the action. .
    2) Apply a consistent Layer Style -> Bevel and Emboss setting
        Again easy if aoo images are the same size not posible if images vary in size for many setting in layer style are in absolute pixel size.
        However layer styles will look good for a range of images sizes like Print Size or thunbnail size or small web sizes.
        Therfore I create actions for print size images and work full size. if I need smaller image I work full size and resize before output.
    3) Allow me to move the text to whatever position
         This is quite easy to do in an action you simply add an interactive transform step after adding the text layer.
         However this is not a good idea if you want to batch the action. Interactive sort of defeats batch.
         With an action it is easy to posion a layer.
    4) Change text layer opacity
        Simply change the added text layers opacity and or fill and it will be recorded.
    5) Flatten
        Simple just record it I don't like actions that flatten though. If you give your action to some and the use it on an image the did a lot of work on the may get very upset the your acrion flatten all their work.
    Have a look at my Crafting Actions Package it cantains a sample action that add a text copyright layer to any size image.

  • How to import actions from CS3 to CS4?

    I had a folder full of self-created actions in CS3.
    Now that I've installed CS4 I see they did not make the transition during install.
    How do I get them imported into CS4?
    I can't seem to find them in any Library folders, nor can I get CS3 to run any more now that CS4 is installed.
    Any pointers for someone a step above neophyte ?
    Vince

    Actions are in the PS folder, hope you did not toss the CS3 folder.
    From the actions pallet fly out menu select Load selections and navigate to the old PS folder / Presets / Actions or Photoshop Actions (depending on the version) and select the set you want to load.
    Or drag them from the old folder to the new folder, they should show up at the bottom of the fly out menu.
    This and the other presets are a good thing to backup, BTW !

  • POPUP FOR SCHEDULE ACTIONS

    Hello All,
                  I have an issue.I need to add an  icon 'ICON_ACTION_SUCCESS' in the action colums of the items table view present in the service order page ,based on the condition that this button should be added only if the items in the item table view  have action profile .I have done this part.
               problem is one when i click on this icon('ICON_ACTION_SUCCESS' ) it should open the schedule actions associated with the item in a poup.Iam getting the popup but schedule action data is not being displayed in the popup.
    i did the following steps.
    i have added the gsaction component with interface views','executedactions','newactionsedit'.in the component usage of the BT116IT_SRVO.
    and i have added these   views of the gsactions in the window of  BT116IT_SRVO
    View CUGSActions.ExecutedActionsEdit
    View CUGSActions.ScheduledActions
    View CUGSActions.NewActionsEdit
    and added the navigation links.I have done this all in the runtime repository.AND i have done the binding of the NODE BTADMINI PRESENT IN BT116IT_SRVO WITH ACTIONS NODE  OF THE GSACTIONS IN COMPONENT CONTROLLER 'WD_USAGE_INITIALIZE'.
    and in the event handler i have  added this  code.
          data: confirm_popup type ref to IF_BSP_WD_POPUP.
          CALL METHOD COMP_CONTROLLER->IF_BSP_WD_WINDOW_MANAGER~CREATE_POPUP
            EXPORTING
              IV_INTERFACE_VIEW_NAME = 'NewActionsEdit'
              IV_USAGE_NAME          = 'CUGSActions'
              IV_TITLE               = 'Hello'
            RECEIVING
              RV_RESULT              = confirm_popup.
    after doing this iam not getting the data populated in the schedule actions.I dont know whether i should build a custom controller or not.I want to display the schedule actions data present in the component gsaction in apopup when i click on the button in component BT116IT_SRVO.
    can any one tell me how to get the schedule action data from the gsaction component and populate it in the popup.
                                     thanks in advance

    Hi Sowmiya,
                         First you have to define the component usage in the source component for the target component.Then check if you have the custom controller defined for the target component in the source component other wise define a custom controller and do the interface binding that bind the context nodes of the source and target component .then check if u have redfine the wd_uage_intiliaze in the component controller for the component controller.
    Now in the view controller call the custom controller of the source component and populate the data into it( get the data by using relations).

  • Creating Actions in Photoshop CS6...

    I am running Windows 7. I created an Action in Photoshop CS6 that includes placing a rectangle and a logo on the bottom right hand corner of my images and then centered in the middle of the rectangle is text of the event (Event name, Location, Date). After creating everything, I flatten the image, resize it down to a size reasonable for the web, then I save the image to a folder, close the document and click on the STOP button in the Actions panel.
    Afterwards, I go into File>Automate>Batch and choose the Action that I just created. In running the action, I notice that the text that I placed into the rectangle on my document is now scaling down to a considerably much smaller size than what I had it set to.
    Can you tell me why this is happening and how to correct it?
    Help???
    Thank you,
    Julia

    Are all the document you ran the action on the same size as the document you recorded the action on? If not did you scale the text so it would be scaled to the current document size and appear the be relatively the same size text that you added to the document you recorded the action on. You may want to have a look at my crafting actions package there is a sample watermarkinf action that handles size.

  • Trouble loading actions onto photoshop elements 10?

    I recently got rid of a laptop on which I had grown accustomed to PSE 7. I learned how to install actions via the following method:
    Download .atn file
    move to Photo Effects folder
    create a .png thumbnail with a matching name
    allow them to load!
    this worked perfectly
    now i have pSE 10 so I looked up the procedure for adding actions onto this version and it appears to be the same exact process. however, i have added a .atn file (seps.atn) and a matching thumbnail (seps.png) and neither the thumbnail nor the action show up in the PSE program. (yes, I have 'show all' selected.)
    and this is in the photo effects folder.
    I don't understand how I'm doing something wrong but somehow I am. please help me?

    Erin over at Texas Chicks has the most comprehensive list of installation instructions. Scroll down to the PSE 10 section and click on your operating system:

  • Downloading Florabella Actions into Photoshop Elements 12 - Icons not showing up!

    I downloaded some Florabella actions into Photoshop Elements 12 and instead of the user friendly, simple icons that are provided, in my Photoshop Elements 12 are these complex, yellow folders that expand and hide themselves.  Why is this? How can I get the user friendly icons back, is this an issue with Photoshop Elements 12 compared to ealier versions? Is there a customer care number I can call, I cannot seem to find a number anywhere! Thank you  in Advance! I have a MAC.

    I think you may misunderstand how layers work. Help> Key Concepts, Layers might help. But to give you a simple example, you have to be able to SEE THROUGH the higher layers if you want edits on the lower layers to show.
    If you look at the image you can see each image has a different colour painted stripe in the area above the cat. But, even though the bottom layer is the active layer, only the top layer's stripe is showing. This is because I have no transparent areas or masks on the top layer so nothing below the top layer can be visible in this image.
    Hope this helps to explain a little of what you may be seeing.
    Cheers,

  • How do I get the Photoshop layer tags in JavaScript?

    I asked this question at graphic design stack exchange but they pointed me here:
    http://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/35374/how-do-i-get-the-photoshop-layer-ta gs-in-javascript?noredirect=1#comment48962_35374
    I want to do actions based on the tagged layer color (these thing 1) in Photoshop. I can't find a property inside the JavaScript documentation or the ExtendScript Toolkit that might contain the value.
    I'd prefer not to abuse the name for that, the layer tags look like a very clean solution to my problem. If only I could fetch them.
    Any Ideas?
    Kind Regards,
    Mii

    Hi, these functions will select all your layers with the specified color:
    use the command: selectAllByColor("red");
    function getIDXwithsameColor(TheColor){// search and return a list of indexes for the layers with the specified color

              ref.putIndex(layers[i], idx[i]);
        desc.putReference( charIDToTypeID( "null" ), ref );
        executeAction( charIDToTypeID( "slct" ), desc, DialogModes.NO );

    The language is tied to the serial number.  Did you purchase the software directly from Adobe?

  • How do I delete Adobe Photoshop CS6 Trial from my MacMini?

    How do I delete Adobe Photoshop CS6 Trial from my Mac Mini? I was upgrading to Adobe Photoshop CS6 not extended. So now I have Adobe Photoshop CS5, CS6, and CS6 extended. My computer is running very slowly. Are all these programs large? Can I delete all but the CS6 and how do I keep the photos I've done in CS5 in CS6 if I want to delete the CS5?

    Your photos won't be affected by uninstalling anything.  Neither Photoshop nor Bridge keep, import or store any image files.  They are all wherever you installed them. (Unlike the crappy Apple iPhoto application, which hides your images from you inside the application package .)
    Two very important caveats:
    1.— Never drag any Adobe applications or their folders into the trash!  Always use the Adobe Uninstaller installed by default with each application.
    2.— The time to uninstall an older application is BEFORE installing newer versions of the application.  The reason for that is that the Adobe Uninstaller can and in all likelihood will damage later version installs.
    If you want to reclaim HD space, your best bet now is to uninstall all versions, including the most current one, then run the CSCleaner Tool, which you can search from and download for free from the Adobe downloads site, then Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility, then re-install the latest and most current versions.  Finally, Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility once again.
    Remember that Photoshop 14.x, which would have been "CS7", but now will be "CC", is scheduled to be released on June 17, less than two weeks from today,

    Hi MarcoMazzone,
    Please open finder and then go to  Applications/utilities/Adobe Installers/
    You might find the uninstallers for CS6 ( design prem/stndard or master collection) or Photoshop CS6.
    If you see any of them just double click on the uninstaller and follow the prompts on the screen to uninstall the product.
    Close Adobe application manager and reopen it, You will see the photoshop as available.
    Thanks
