Please clarify the doubts,
In Content Management -> Reports -> Approval Maintenance Reports, how to schedule the reports and how to make it to run.
And how to send these reports through mail for hourly basis automatically.

Hi Rakhy,
You cannot schedule a report to SFTP and also it is not supported by SAP.
The same cannot be achieved thtrough CMC/BIlaunchpad and hence it is not possible to achive the same though sdks as there is no option available to schedule a report to SFTP.
SAP BI 4.x does not provide any Build- In functionality to use the SFTP protocol with the Scheduler.

You can use BOBJ SDKs to Schedule a report to Unmanged Disk and then create a program object which will trigger its schedule as an file base event occurs and send the report to SFTP.

How to schedule report filtered by dynamic date based on the date the Agent runs

Hello
I have a question about delivering report using OBIEE agent.
If i am running an agent today to deliver report A, can I get report A based on Last Monday's date or any dynamic dates?
For example, say today is Dec 18th 2013 and my agent is running according to how I set the schedule. Now the deliver content will have report A being delivered. Now report A has a date column, normally this column is filtered by current date. But if it's delivered through agents to various users, Report A's data should be the previous Monday, so in this case Dec 9th 2013. When this agent is run again said on Dec 27th 2013, then report A should be filtered by Dec 16th 2013, which is the previous monday of Dec 27th.
Can something like this be achieved in OBIEE 11G?

Not a straight forward way
1) Let the report run through Agent with Current Date filter
2) once it ran for the first time you can see IBOT name/last run time(LAST_RUNTIME_TS) in S_NQ_JOB
Create a repository variable 'last_run_agent' using below sql to get max(LAST_RUNTIME_TS)
select max(LAST_RUNTIME_TS) from s_nq_job where name = 'AGENT_NAME';
Edit the analysis report with current date filter and modify the filter condition accordingly to filter on newly created repository variable

How to Schedule Report Output in EXCEL (.cvs) format for Planning 11.1.2.1

Hi all,
I'm using Planning 11.1.2.1 for entering data and generating reports manually via Workspace. I wanna set up an automation process with a batch scheduler.
I've gone over the documentation. I've read about creating batches first then scheduling batches next.
However, the biggest issue I have is that I want to extract all my reports into EXCEL Spreadsheet (.cvs) format and according to the docs, it only supports output in PDF or HTML for 11.1.2.1.
Is this true? Is there a way to work around this by using Business Rules at command prompt?

If you have the Financial Report open there are two options:
- in the bottom right hand corner of the report click the link: "Export In Query ready Mode"
(this opens the report so you can use it as an Excel retrieve)
- from the Hyperion menu, select File>Export>Excel
(this exports the headers as objects and the data grid, so you can manipulate in Excel).

No. To do this you need to upgrade to Enterprise Edition (EE) so you can use Delivers (iBots) or Web Services to schedule delivery of dashboards/answers content. Your Standard Edition One (SE1) license does include the use of Publisher. Publisher includes an free open source sheduling engine (Quartz). To use this you just need to configure a database connection to a metadata schema using the Admin tab in Publisher. Any single answers request you have on a dashboard can also be used as a data source for a Publisher report. You can also use the logical sql from you answers requests in a data template data source to bring together multiple answers requests into a single Publisher report. So with SE1 you can schedule delivery of static content but it wont be interactive / drillable / clickable like a dashboard.

How to schedule Crystal reports with crystal server

We are using just crystalreportsxir2 installed on the desktop, no business objects and we r not using any server
My question is how to schedule reports with out server and I donu2019t want to use windows scheduler. Is there any way to schedule reports like this?
If it is not possible scheduling reports in above mentioned way
We want to buy a crystal xir2 server, in such case is it possible to schedule reports with the server we donu2019t have any portal and we dou2019t want to use any third party tools

Did you find any option Scheduling for the report with in crystal designer.
We need Crystal Enterprise or Server to schedule the reports at regular intervals.
We can schedule the report for our required destination, we can view the reports with default viewers with in the Enterprise.
There is no need of using any third party tools.

I would like to know how to schedule reports in BO.My requirement is that
the reports are run every month through out the year.we tried to bring the date from BW side
but due to too many prompts and other factors it dint work.so how can the system dynamically,
run reports for respective months,for eg if im running report this month,it should be for September,
if im running in Jan it should be for Jan ..

I want the Inventory Audit Report to run automatically daily (and thereby update the Last Evaluated Price).
I know the report scheduler can schedule reports for user queries, but I need this out-of-the-box B1 report to run automatically with a predefined schedule.

Goto
SM36 tcode
and provide
Job Name , Job class
( depends on the priority whther A,B, or C).
and then choose
start condition
on the application tool bar
and then choose
Date/Time
button in the new window appeared.
Provide Schedule start data and time.
if you want to execute periodically then select
Periodic job
check box..
then SAVE button to be pressed to save the these settings.
then choose
STEP button
on the application toolbar and provide
Program name and variant name and lang ..
Press the SAVE button.
so program is scheduled to runn in BG mode at the specified time.
but while giving time we have to give server time not the system time

How to schedule the webi report based on data changes in the report data

Hello,
I want to schedule a webi report based on data change in a column in the report.
The scenario is something like below:
1. If a data of a particular column changes from 2 to 3 than I would like to schedule this report and sent it to users mail box.
I know how to apply alerts or schedule a report or data tracking for capturing changes in the report but I dont know how to schedule the report only for data changes.
Anybody done this before.
