I wasn't exact enogh in describing my problem. The picture above was made on my firefox with only the listed extensions and plugins installed. My computer was lagging a lot, so maybe I pressed some buttons and it interpreted them as a combination. So I made my own computer show this, but I don't know how.

2. Alternatively; open a new tab and type '''about:sync-tabs''' then press enter.
NB: When you open a tab in the 'Tabs From Other Computers' window it '''WILL NOT''' remove that tab from the other device.

How do I get "Open Tabs in Background" to work?

I have ios7 and had been using a different browser. But Safari under ios& seems to be so much faster that I want to use it.
But.
My preference is to go to a site rich with links and then click the ones that interest me and have each link open up in the background in its own tab.
But this doesn't work at all. I've gone to Settings and in the part about Safari there is an option entitled "Open Tabs in Background". I toggled this on.
But no difference. All links replace the page I'm looking at. Yes, I can hold my finger down and wait for the pop-up, but I'd much rather it worked automagically.
How do I fix this?

Yes, but are you working in iMovie '09? You start off by saying you are using iMovie '08 and then proceed to describe new options only available in iMovie '09. Better re-check what version of iMovie the tutorial is describing.

I have "Sync Tabs" checked, but I do not know how to access my tabs from another computer, or, better yet, restore them all open. I have clicked "Sync Now" on both computers before the attempt.

Maybe the 'Sync'-option does work for you? Sync will synchronize your tabs. I think; when you login to Sync on your other device, the tabs will load automaticly. But I haven`t try it already. I hope it will work. :)

Firefox shows windows from last time, how to clear last open tab?

I have Firefox set to restore my previous session when starting.
The last tab open doesn't have an 'x' to close it. When pressing ctrl+w it will close the window in such a way that next time I open firefox it'll restore the previous tab.
Is there a way to make it close the last tab then exit when ctrl+w is pressed? This so that I can have a fresh session by clearing the last one on exit.

Try doing this:
# Goto Tools>>Options and open the General Tab.
# Look beneath the Startup Section and check the "When Firefox Starts:" Field. If it is "Show My Windows and Tabs from Last Time", change it to "Show my Homepage" to display your home page or "Show a Blank Page" to display a blank page.
That should sort out your problem. If it doesn't let us know and we'll see what else can be done.

Simple back and forth mouse movement changes screen to open tabs

Current version.
Intermittent problem always either this issue or works fine from initiating ff.
Several tabs are open. Simple left right movement of mouse suddenly replaces current page with previous and then the next previous.
I wonder if it is malware but have performed a full malware scan, no issues.
The mouse is a Logitech Expert wireless mouse.

You do have the Logitech SetPoint extension installed. I wonder whether it recognizes certain gestures as cues to go back/forward in history, or to switch among open tabs, etc.
You can check whether it has any relevant settings on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the right side, check whether the Logitech SetPoint extension has an Options button.

How to make Firefox open the search results in a new tab instead of on top of already opened page?

When I do the search through the search window on the top right corner, the search results open on top of the page I'm viewing at that moment, instead of in a new tab, so I have to keep remembering to open a new tab before each search. I have that option checked and use that function all the time. I'm wanting my search from the search bar to open in a new tab, not the existing page. Command - click only works if you click on a link within a page.

How to I get new tabs to open to the correct home page?

When I open new tabs they just go to a Google Search page, which is very frustrating, especially when I open a new tab and try to type in the URL bar but as soon as it finishes loading Google it blanks out what I typed in and goes to the Google site. In other words, "blank" new tabs do not open to the Favorites page or even my home page. They open to Google. How do I change that? In other words, how do I get new tabs to stop opening to Google and start opening to either my home page or the Favorites screen? Thanks!

Computer was shut down and need to know how to retrieve important information from open tab that isn't showing in history and wasn't bookmarked

My computer was shut down with live work still needing to be completed within an open tab of Firefox. The site that I was working from had not been bookmarked and a saved link back to the site had not been done yet either. After starting my laptop back up and opening Firefox, I don't have anything in the history taking me back to the site. Can I get back to that session at all and if so how? Or how do I search?

You would really have to ask the app developer if there is a way to export the data.
As for adding a printer, you would need to purchase an AirPrint compatible printer and connect it to your wireless network.

How do I add Auto Complete and how in the world do I get searches to open in a new page.

I just downloaded FireFox and need help with two things.
One how do I get auto complete in FireFox. The download has removed this feature in my Google toolbar.???
and two how do I get the searches set to open in a new window. I do not like tab browsing.
I went to tools and checked the box to open new windows in a new tab, but i don't see this happening. Maybe I am just assuming that this is the right setting to select.
I just want my searches to open in a new window, not in the same window or tab.

Did you install the Google Toolbar for Firefox? It has its' own autofill setup, separate from the rudimentary "form fill" that Firefox has. It also has its' own Searchbar, with its' own settings..

How to get last session open tabs?

My hard disk is damaged, but I can read/copy files when I install it in other computer as a secondary hard disk.
The problem happend suddenly, and now I need to recover the last session open tabs. How can I get them? Only URLs of course.

I've had what I think is a related problem since the most recent software update. I have Lion 10.7.4 and have updated to Safari 6.0. The most noticeable difference is that where previously I had two boxes at the top of the Safari window (one to enter URL addresses, one for Google searches), there is now only one box for both functions. I don't like that as well, but I can live with it. However, since the most recent software update my "back button" only works about 5% of the time. Most of the time it is grayed out. So I usually can't get back to previous pages using the back button. Also, when I've clicked a link that opens a new window (for instance, going through the return process at Amazon, I clicked UPS locator and it opened a new window), where in the past I would have just clicked the red button after I had the information, the UPS locator window would have closed, and I would have been back at Amazon - now if I close the UPS locator window, all Safari windows close. The Safari application doesn't close, but the Amazon window closes, I'm back to an empty screen, and I have to open a new Safari window and reenter everything. I'm using a work-around of clicking on History and selecting the description of the window I want to get back too, but that only works part of the time. In the Amazon example, that's what I did once I had the UPS info, but even though I clicked the correct window description, it took me back to the beginning of the return process & I had to reenter all the info. Of course, that info was easy to reenter, but if I'm in the middle of a complicated process, it's a big problem. I've filed a bug report; I surely hope the Apple engineers are able to fix this. I'm used to using the back button function a lot!
