What happened to searching the body of emails in iOS 5?

Although Apple advertised it as a feature of the mail app in iOS 5, I am unable to search the body of emails.

It is there but it is AWFUL. It took at least 20 MINUTES to complete a search. I also switched to show last 1000 messages. I was hoping that would help, but it hasn't.
I can search on my webmail much faster than that.
I just tested this specifically for this post and Mail first found 2 then 4 messages in the 1st couple of minutes. Then after searching for more than 20 minutes it found about 7 more emails. Then after 23 minutes it finished searching and returned all 23 results. That is atrocious. And it takes the same amount of time no matter how many itmes you reperat the search.
Sometimes you just see the spinning gear in the menu bar and sometimes you see a searching message at the bottom of the screen too. Sometimes you see a message saying it is checking the server.

After setting the Indexes using Java Embedding for a process, can you please tell me how to search the indexes in 11g Enterprise Manager Console for the particular process.In 10g BPEL Console we have the option of searching the Instances based on Indexes we already set at process level which is inbuilt in 10g. I need the same in 11g .

Hi Sagar,
You can define composite sensors in your composite.
Then you will get fields in enterprise manager of that composite instance.(the sensors you have defined will be displayed here)
You can enter the values based on what you want to search the instance. :)

How to search the content of TPL files?

Hi. I have a folder with hundreds of template "tpl" files that I'm needing to search the file contents of but using the regular search of that folder is unable to search the content of the tpl files, is it possible to do so?

I assume there's not a "scan all files" with Spotlight?
I don't think that would be possible in the specific case of content searches. Here's my understanding:
EasyFind searches the files themselves when it looks for content, which makes it slow but very flexible.
In contrast, Spotlight searches a pre-existing index when it looks for things - it can be instructed to search the index in various ways, but if the desired information is not in the index in the first place, it won't be found. Indexing the content of every file in the system is not feasible, so only the contents of certain file types get indexed. I found the following in [this Wikipedia article|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotlight_%28software%29]:
Aside from basic information about each file like its name, size and timestamps, the mdimport daemon can also index the content of some files, when it has an Importer plug-in that tells it how the file content is formatted. Spotlight comes with importers for certain types of files, such as Microsoft Word, MP3, and PDF documents. Apple publishes APIs that allow developers to write Spotlight Importer plug-ins for their own file formats.[3]
So unless you'd care to write your own Spotlight Importer plug-in for tpl files, I think you are out of luck!

How to search the entire catalog

Question: I've got loads of folders in my library, and they span over several pages on the Folders section in the Library module. But, when I want to search for a photo using the Library filter, I need to always first, move my mouse and click manually over the Folders section to the top Parent folder before I can do a search on the entire catalog.
I was wondering how you go about searching the entire catalog, but with a quicker solution? I don't want to always have to find the most parent folder and click on it before I do a search across the entire library.

Maybe time to think about re-organising folders into sub-folders? I got into the same position, and then created folders for each year, so I don't see individual folders unless I want to:
If you do that, remember to do it from inside Lightroom (just drag folders around) or Lightroom gets thoroughly confused.

Lets go back to your first question, the one you didn't post here. Why do you want to "retrieve ms word"? My guess is that you want to execute the Microsoft Word executable program and have it load a Word document that you happen to have available.
If that's the case (and dozens of people have already asked that here), then do this:Runtime.getRuntime().exec("start yourdoc.doc");but put the actual file name in there in place of "yourdoc.doc".
If you have some other reason for wanting to find MS Word's executable (e.g. you want to delete it), then please reply to this post and let us know.

Thanks for the reply.
I think using the File Control could work like you said if we could change the JPD, I also think some public API (perhaps an observer of some type) would work as you suggested.
However, this is one of our older prod apps (thankfully nearing retirement) and we really don't like to make changes unless we really really need to (few support resources are available, especially testers).
Also, and sorry if my initial post wasn't very clear about this, we want to search the past history of workflow instance data, not the new incoming data.
Any other ideas?

i developed an servlet using sun.net.smtp.SmtpClient package,my servlet receiving data from an form,i can able to send mail successfully,but my mail body part is in the text format,but i would like to send it as an html format,for ex <input type="text" size="25" name="Name"> as an input field with value received from the form instead of showing tags as i mentioned<input type="text" size="25" name="Name"> ,any help would be appreciated.

How to perform advanced search amidst the various relationships (system and user defined) that IFS manages?

You can use iFS Java API to do search based on relationship.
PublicObject class has the following methods that you can use to find the related objects.
If you have a public object, then you can find all it's related objects using the following
methods.

public PublicObject[] getLeftwardRelationshipObjects(java.lang.String relClassName) throws IfsException
public PublicObject[] getRightwardRelationshipObjects(ClassObject relClass) throws IfsException
public PublicObject[] getRightwardRelationshipObjects(java.lang.String relClassName) throws IfsException
You can also find relationships themselves using the following methods.
