How to see ALL purchases? (Not just the most recent 2000)
So I got a new MacBook and I want to sync my iPod 5 to it. The problem with this is that it erases all of your iPod's information. I'm okay with this, I just want to be able to put all my songs back onto it. So I go to the iTunes store, click purchases, and it shows me the most recent 2000 purchases. Some of the music I want is farther back from 2000. How can I see ALL of my purchases, not just the most recent 2000, so that I can download them into my new music library?
Another solution would be to locate this music in the iTunes store. When I find one of the albums that I have already purchased, I click on where it says "purchased" and it gives me these options: gift this item, tell a friend, share on facebook, share on twitter, and copy link. None of which gives me the option to download it again. What should I do?

All of your content should be in iTunes on the computer or on a backup of your computer.
Apple has never stated that iTunes in the Cloud and the ability to redownload content is a replacement for backing up your media.
If you are unable to download it again and there is no backup, then it is gone.

You have 17 options to save as in Open Office, one of which is .doc files, yes it needs to be saved manually.
You may be able to default to DOC, but have not tried same.
Since Open Office is 99% same as Word, I use it, or Word, either one. Open Office is a bit less buggy than Word 11' -
Can I import just the most recent photos from iPhoto
I want to import into the organizer just the most recent iPhoto ppictures. The problem is every time I want to import from iPhoto the system wants to import thousands of photos which I do not need. All I want are the last half-dozen or so shots that I took that's all.
There is the option to use iPhoto rather than Organizer with the PSE Editor application set up for external editing in the iPhoto preferences.

Do I need all the updates, or just the most recent?
I'm in the process of cleaning out my hard drive to free up some extra space. In my add/remove programs menu I have "J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0" updates 3, 4, 6, 8, and 9. Do I need to keep all of these, or only the most recent one? I could free up almost half a gigabyte if I delete the older ones, but I don't want to do so and then find out that I screwed up my computer. So my question is, do the new updates simply compliment the old ones, or replace them entirely? Can I safely remove updates 3, 4, 6, and 8?
Just one's enough. Get rid of the old ones.

How do I change mail so only the most recent mail from a person opens?
When I open mail and go to a new mail all of the files/documents that, that person has ever sent me from previous days open as well. The other emails that I do not want also show up on the right side of my mail in the preview the document part. How do I change it so that I only see the email I am clicking on not a scrolling document of all of the mail items the sender has sent me. Also how do I change it so I only see the most recent item (the one I am clicking on) in the preview email on the right side? Thanks

How do I configure my phone to the most recent sync in iTunes?
I am attempting to set up a temporary replacement phone and my attempts to restore my phone to the most recent backup (completed earlier today) are not working. Instead, my iTunes only recognizes the most recent backup from 1/22/13.
Is there any way I can change my most recent backup so that my iTunes will acknowledge it? If this is not possible, how can I sync the new phone so I don't lose almost three months of text history, photos, notes, etc?
I am using Mac OS X 10.5.8, and both the original and replacement phone are the 4S.

If you still have your old phone then make a manual backup of it (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766). As to the replacement phone and the three months of messages etc you might use a program likeiphone backup extractor to retrieve and keep information on it and also do a backup but remember you can't merge the two backups and if you restore from a backup the information that you get back is per whatever was on the backup you used for the restore

i backed up my iphone to itunes and tried restoring the info on to a new iphone and for some reason it used an old back up from last may. I know that the recent back up worked as I used it to set up another phone a week ago (a phone whihc also had problems and hence I needed to use that same back up again on my second new phone. Is there anyway I can get the most recent back up information back?

I had a problem with tab groups - if I mistakenly close tab groups, I can only recover the last 10 tabs.
I had a window with many more than 10 tabs which I reopened each session by going to History > Recently Closed Windows. I knew this was risky - I could lose this if I did not keep it in an open window or recently closed window. So I was looking for a way to save this window with all the tabs. I looked into tab groups and, not knowing what I was doing, I closed the groups of tabs. There seems to be no recovery for other than the last 10 tabs. And open tabs are not necessarily in recent history if I have not accessed the tab and refreshed.I don't use tab groups myself, but I know of a way to increase the number of closed tabs that Firefox remembers. Unfortunately, it's not retroactive...

Regarding what is in history, by default, Firefox will load tabs on demand when you restore a session, rather than loading every single tab immediately. If you turned off that setting, or if you visited all the tabs, then those pages should be in history, but finding them amidst all the others would be quite a challenge... -
Dialogue tick boxes un-hiding all fields, not just the ones where value has changed to true
I am hoping someone can help me make what I want to happen, happen if certain check boxes are ticked withing the dialogue box
right now I can see on the console print that the tick box turns the value from false to true but the OK button is also un-hiding all my fields rather than just the ones where the value has turned to true. What am I missing here

How to View all settings not just unique

I took a backup of the GPO I created and imported it into MSCM.
When I look at the report of the settings it only show the Unique settings. Is there any way to show all the settings contained within the gpo?Probably the most straightforward way to get iTunes onto your new computer is to network it with the old one and copy your iTunes folder across. This works fine if you have been using iTunes to completely manage your music and all your songs are in iTunes Music not in different folders. You can also use this method with an external hard drive, you drag the folder from the old computer to the external drive and then from the drive to the new computer. If the songs in your library are not all in the iTunes Music folder you can consolidate them. When you consolidate, any songs in the iTunes Library that are not in the iTunes Music Folder are copied to the Music Folder and the Library is updated to point to those new files. Files already in the iTunes Music Folder have no changes made to them: Copying all your iTunes files to one location - Windows
Copying the whole folder brings with it the iTunes Music folder and also the iTunes Library (iTunes Library.itl in Windows) database file which holds all the information about your songs (Playlists, Ratings, Play Counts, Last Played, Date Added, etc). When you copy the iTunes folder make sure you put it into the same location on the new computer. This has to be the exact same place, on a PC this is \Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\. When you open iTunes on the new computer it will be the same as on the original one Songs, Playlists, Play Counts, Ratings etc. When I moved iTunes a while ago for my daughter I was also using the same version of iTunes, not sure how important that is but it's probably worth keeping them the same.

Help! the 3d features are all greyed out on the most recent trial version of PS.
Adobe sent out an email saying that people could have another trial of Photoshop and that this one would allow access to the 3d features. Unfortunately now that I have downloaded, I see all the features are greyed out. Can anyone explain or troubleshoot this issue? Please use laymens terminology.

If you're looking to produce have your display include the solution information from previous solver steps, you will need to buffer the previous data. The way to implement this in a Control Design & Simulation Loop is using the Memory.vi found under Control Design & Simulation > Simulation > Utilities > Memory.vi. It will allow you to save previous information generated in the simulation environment for letter solution steps.
I've attached an example that should get you started in using the Memory.vi.
I would also make sure that what you're looking to accomplish is suitable for the Control & Simulation Loop. I know you mentioned you were new to LabVIEW so I wanted to make sure you were heading off in the right direction. Is there a particular reason why you are using the Control & Simulation Loop instead of a standard While or For Loop? The Control Design & Simulation loop is unique in that it calculates the solution of a dynamic system at a prescribed time step and ODE solver. It also provides the tools to interact with the model you are solving during execution. However, if you are simply looking to perform data acquisition and measurements (instead of dynamic model simulation) I would recommend using standard LabVIEW functions.

How to see all songs NOT stored locally on device?
Hello,
I am looking for a way to view songs that need to be downloaded on my iPod Touch FROM the device. The only way I see is to scroll through my songs (in the thousands) to look for songs with the cloud icon and tap it to start downloading.
Is there a way to create a smart playlist that shows only the songs that are not stored locally on the device? Or something similar?
As I am updating my library on the desktop (updating / deleting / adding / ripping / etc) I would like to have the updates loaded to the device as i am going through the long updating process (lots of CDs to go through).
any insight would be greatly appreciated.[Suggestion only, I haven't done this myself.]
Create a Smart Playlist, and sync it to your iPod Touch so you can use it there. Make the rule "iCloud Status" "is not" "Local Only."
p.s.: you do know that you don't HAVE to store all of your songs on your iPod Touch, right? I'd never be able to get all of my songs on my 16 Gb iPhone. In fact, I frequently remove all locally stored music from it, and just stream from the cloud... And metadata updates appear to occur automatically, when you're using wi-fi.
