Procedure to see the deleted asset records:-
Fixed Assets >Information System >Reports on Asset Accounting >Asset Balances >Balance Lists >Asset Balances >S_ALR_87011964
Go to Dynamic Selection >Administrative Data and select Mark for Deletion. Give input criteria as X and run the report.

Step 1: select your request from DSO request tb
Step 2: Select your DSO just above your contents/requests/reconstruction tabs
Step 3: Click contents(Spectacles symbol) in the top area of your screen
Step 4: Slect the required fields

How to see deleted records in delta extraction from view

Hi folks,
i am currently reflecting about delta extraction from a view:
The view contains a date field (change date) which is used to identify new or changed records.
So the delta extraction of new and changed records works without problems.
But what is happening with records that are deleted in the source system?
My current understanding is that deleted records will not be shown in the view. Therefore the deletion is not visible in the extraction.
- Is there a workaround for this problem?
- How is deletion of records normaly handled in generic extractors?
- Is it impossible to extract a deletion when using views?
any suggestions and help will be appretiated...

Hello Florian,
Generally records will not be deleted (until if you physically delete it from table) but will have a status deleted.
So it doesn't matter whether you use view or tables the deleted records will be extracted through the view to update the BW data targets.

Is there any page in adminui , where i can delete all old recording at a shot.

How to see no .of records in a column on BW user repot

On BW user report (not analyzer the excel like report that buisiness uses to view report s output) how would i do GROUP BY on one particular column so that it gives me total no of records present in that column.
scenario - buisiness wants to see no of sales orders placed in a single day. i could pull the sales document field into the report but how could i see no of records it has on that day? [like in excel sheet we cud see no of lines by choosing GROUP BY or something like that]

How do you Delete a Record using Form with submit button?

Hi,
The table REGISTRATION has two feilds, FULL_NAME and USER_GROUP. I created a form that has a drop down
of all the FULL_NAME values that allows the user to select the record that they want to delete. I got the drop down to work and
created the Delete Record behavior, I just can't get the submit button to send the form data and cause the delete to happen.
I have created other pages that update records in this way, but for some reason, I can't get delete to work.
Any Ideas?

The name of your form control is "select".

For path IMg - > MM - > Valuation and account assignment -> Account Determination -> account determination without wizard - > configure automatic postings...
In if i go for account assignment...
inside, for Transaction Key BSX -- If i double click on inventory management ---Those entries are deleted ...then how can i regain or see those entries and corresponding G/L accounts for it...

Why dont you reassign GL Accounts and Valuation Classes.
You can reassign them by checking in GL master ie FS00 & Valuation classes ie OMSK.
If you dont know the procedure take FI/CO guys help.
There is no other option.

How to see deleted files or restore them on another volume

Hi,
an accident happened as follows:
I wanted to unzip a file with BetterZip. It said there exists another file with the same name.
I answered it's question if I want to replace or unzip this file to another place just with replace.
But the result was that the whole content of the folder where the file should be extracted to, was deleted by BetterZip.
I don't know why ??
The volume on which that happened is not my start / system volume, it's a separate volume only with data.
1.) Exists a way to see a list of the files which were deleted ? (Because I don't know if there was something really important inside.)
2.) Is there a terminal command or another method to get these files back to that folder ?

I tried to search in that invisible folder of that volume (.Trashes / 501) hoping to find
some the accidently erased things.
But it seemed to be empty.
Ok, it happened. Up to now I don't remember something really important.
And yes, I have a backup of that volume, but I update it manually from time to time with CarbonCopyCloner.
Just after I thought I want to update the volume this accident happened.

Hi,
If u want a frequent deletion this approach to delete a record from a file will havee unnecesary copy of records from one file to another and deletion of one file and renaming activities.
Instead what u can do is Add and field del_flag to ur record structure.
If u want to delete the record from a file just mark this del_flag as 'X'.
While processing u can have a loop like
loop at it_XXX where del_flag <> 'X'.
endloop.
This will logically delete the record.
When u r to finish the application at that time only perform this copying / deleting / and renaing activity

Normally the Goods Movement errors are updated in Table AFFW - Goods Movements with Errors from Confirmations and in transaction COGI.
If the table is locked during background using update control for the confirmation then the errors are recorded in CO1P.
COFC:
Used for Reprocessing of errors in confirmation related to actual cost calculations.
Please run CORUPROC Program.

Hi Experts,
I am also experiencing the same problem. The pernr is existing in table pa0000. I tried to delete using PA30 but it's only prompting me to enter a personnel number. I've also used RPUDELPN but there is a prompt saying "Selection is initial. All pernrs will be deleted...".
Are there other ways to delete a pernr?
