How to see full away message?

How do you see another persons full away message (shown under their name when they are away)? It is usually cut off since it is too long. Sometimes I can see it by moving my mouse over that persons name, and a tooltip would popup showing the full message. However I find that this only works sometimes for me, and usually doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

I suppose you have tried dragging the lower corner of your Buddy List to make it wider. :-))

If you place your mouse pointer DIRECTLY over the buddy name and take your hand off the mouse (so shaky hands do not move the mouse) it should show up within a second.
If your Mac is busy with a task, it may take two seconds.
If the popup does not open reliably with the mouse positioned correctly and kept stationary, I would suggest you try Mac OS X maintenance.

Mapping Runtime Exception - How to see complete error message?

Hello,
we have a mapping runtime exception in SXMB_MONI. However only the first 4 lines are displayed are shown in <SAP:Stack>, the rest of the error message is needed however for trouble shooting.
Is there any way to display the full error message? Executing a unit-test in ESR is not possible as there are some functions executed which just work during runtime.

In my scenario IDoc->XI->SOAP I need to see the SOAP message, which arrives into target web service. Where can I see it? I suppose in sxmb monitor, but which part? I can not find it...

In MONi you will only be able to see the XML payload or rather the SOAP Body.
If you want to see the entire HTTP post message used by the SOAP adapter will the SOAP Enevlope you need to use either,
1. The TCP Gateway as shown in Stefan's Blog
or,
2. Follow the instructions in this thread. You would need to turn on Synch Logging in the Visual Admin for this though,

I would suggest you follow Stefan's blog as it is quite simple rather than turning on Synch Logging in the Va.

How to see, kick or message users.

I setup file sharing on my Lion server but I can not for the life of me see where to check who is connected. I see one area where it says how many users are connected but not who they are. Is this option avialable?

Thought I'd chime back in and say that all of this is still possible in Lion Server, it's just that Apple has moved it away from the GUI.
For example you can view all connected AFP users by running this in Terminal:
serveradmin command afp:command = getConnectedUsers | grep "name"
You can run similar commands to send messages to and disconnect users. So it's still possible, it's just more work than it used to be.

How to get full SOAP message in WebService

Is it possible to get SOAP message while Request operation during transaction in WebService.
I tried with Handler, while retreiving message it is having a MessageContext. How to initilize that like example

I think, there are some concepts missunderstood. First if you use JAX-WS- Metro framework, this kind of handlers will work. Also you should identify your SOAPHandler for your web service. For ex: in Netbeans 6, you can right click on service and select configure handlers. Then you decide your handler.
Then automatically, Metro framework directs SOAPMessages to your SOAPHandler to handle full SOAPs. HandleMessage() method will work.
If you have problem again, just ask.

How to see full HP icons in Devices and Printers Win 7?

THis post is long because I've included all of the clues for analysis, so please read it all the way through.
My HP printer devices - an OfficeJet Pro L7600 All-In-One and a DesignJet T120 - show the same behaviour. In Devices and Printers on my primary desktop PC, they appear and work correctly, but their icons are the default Windows printer icon. I want them to be the device-specific HP icons that I know exist.
The printers are connected over the network.
I have tried going into the properties of the printer by right-clicking the default icon, but there is no option to change the icon. I have tried dragging the icon out to the desktop, but this creates a new shortcut which, although I could change its icon (if I knew where to find it), I don't want a second route to the printer and, reading below, you'll see that it's not necessary.
I made the All-In-One available on a laptop. This instance of the driver appears in the D&P of my desktop machine as "HP L7600 on XXX-LAPTOP". The icon is not the default icon, but the correct icon - an anatomically correct picture of the All-In-One. So, the D&P window can see the full icon, but only from another machine.
Also, I have a Brother All-In-One for 11X17, also connected on the network. It shows the correct icon from Brother. Therefore, I interpret the problem as originating with an HP-specific bit of code.
How can I get the proper icons to display?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums.
After reading your post I see that your Officejet Pro L7600 & DesignJet T120 icons do not display with the correct image of the printer but as a default printer icon. This is usually caused by the method the printers are installed. I can speak on behalf of the L7600 only as the DesignJet T120 is a Commercially supported printer. I would suggest you post that question there.
Regarding the Officejet Pro 17600 though you can remove the printer from Devices and Printers. Next you want to add the L7600 using the printer software installed on your computer:
1. Start Menu and open All Programs.
2. Look for and open the HP folder, here or within a folder named after the printer you will open Add a Device.
3. Walk through steps on screen and when the printer is added successfully you should have the printer icon you are looking for.

How to see full conent when using jdb

I am using jdb to debug some corruptted char array. When I dump one buffer object that contains char array, I can not view full content since it is too long. Is there a way I can save to this content to a file? Or is there another way to look at full message?

Thanks for your response. All of my pages are php pages in which I use the php require command to display a header and footer. In CS4, when I open any page from my site in Design or Split view, all I can see is the header.htm file. I cannot see any of the content from that particular page. I have to go into code view and delete the <?php require("header.htm"); ?> from the code. The I can view and edit that page's content after which I have to paste the <?php require("header.htm"); ?> command back in and load the saved file to the server. A royal pain in the butt.

Firefox properties shows shortcut only; how to see full features?

Both my desktop and control panel show only a shortcut for Firefox, which doesn't have any setting for properties. How do I get the full version? Do I have to remove Firefox and reload it?
Also, the update notice says that some add-ons may be disabled. How do I know what they are and what to do? Because of this I have been refusing the update.
I have been using Firefox as my browser 99% of the time, and am definitely not a techie.

You can right-click that entry and choose "Open containing folder" to go to the folder where the file was saved.<br />
If this entry is grayed then your anti-virus software may have removed this file.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

How to see full file path in DW find/replace results

I've been looking for a solution to this for a while now.
I've also seen many questions about this on other forums but no
real answers.
The problem is this: when I use the DW8 find feature to
search for something across an entire site (or an entire folder not
in a defined site) all the files in which the pattern was found get
listed with only the filename and the name of that file's immediate
parent folder. I can't see the full path to the file.
Now of course, if I only get a few matches, I can open up all
the files one at a time and see the full path in the DW window
title. However, that gets pretty restrictive if I get lots of
results.
For example, I searched for something like "model2_header_"
in the source code for one of my sites.
over 6000 files contained a match for that pattern.
I ain't about to open 6000 files just to know where they are
in the site.
As a specific example, one of those files was located 6
subfolders down:
[siteRoot]\ab-dga\tools\guides\tpd-dpc\ov-oev\ccrfta-aleccr\filename.html
But in the DW search results, it was listed as:
ccrfta-aleccr\filename.html [...matched text here...]
That makes it really hard to find that file.
I still use HomeSite sometimes and I get the full path in
search results there so it's really frustrating that DW doesn't
provide that information as well.
Please, someone, let me know that there is hope. Find me a
solution (and please don't just give me the last two words of it...

How to see full size images when selecting multiple photos

In the Photos app, I click to view a photo and it shows up full screen like it used to. But now when I try to select multiple photos to upload to an email by hitting the send-to button at the lower left, suddenly all the photos are thumbnails at the top and a host of options fill the screen where the full-sized image used to be. Without full size previews I can't tell what photos in a series are really the better ones. Is there a way in iOS 8.1.1 to flip through your photos full screen and only select a few? It seems like this worked before but now this function has been removed? Thanks

I did discover that when entering the first letter of a keyword in the box, a list comes up with suggestions. Frequently that list is only of the keywords that begin with the letter I entered. Once in a while I can get the entire list but I don't know how I do it. It seems intermittent but I suspect it is not. Any idea how that happens? Thanks again.

I need to see messages in the users mailbox in order to delete or block some of them. There are some command to do this? because I don�t want to go directory by directory in the store to see the messages.
For example in a messaging system with just sendmail I can see inside all mailboxes as root.

Sendmail doesn't truly have a "mail store", only mailbox files. You can edit those, true.
Messaging Server has a much more sophisticated "mail store". While you can also examine the files there, as text files, that's kind of un-handy.
Messaging Server does, however, provide the "proxyauth" extension to IMAP and HTTP mail access. Easiest for an admin to use is the HTTP version.
First, look at output from running
configutil -o store.admins
this gives you the "proxyauthuser". You assigned that and the password on installation, unless you've changed it.
Second, make sure that proxyauth is turned on in webmail with
configutil -o service.http.allowadminproxy
If it comes back, "no", "0" or "off", you will need to turn it on:
configutil -o service.http.allowadminproxy -v yes
and restart the http process:
stop-msg http; start-msg http
Now, you can construct a browser url like this:

I think you may have activated the Zoom feature inadvertently.
Open System Preferences Universal Access pane Seeing tab. Turn OFF Zoom. Note the keyboard command for Zoom In, which may be how you activated Zoom. This feature is sometimes useful, so you can leave it ON, as long as you know how to "unzoom."
