How to see hidden apps & minimized windows in Mission Control?

Does anyone know how to configure Mission Control so that I can see hidden apps and minimized windows?

Not thing to apologize. you don;t do anything wrong. sorry about my word i'm not good in english.
it call Minimize windows
by your answer that is ok. The window will go to stay on Dock by click in >System Preference >Dock > Uncheck Minimize windows into application.
but someone (me and topick owner Jmayorperes) we check in minimize window to application icon . because i want a static Dock . dont want many icon on Dock when i minimize.
and old style expose is allow me to see all active window and all minimize windows in same place. by move mouse to hot corner .
But Lion if you want to see Minimize window you must >>> .. hold click to icon and select > show all window .. That's it. http://postimage.org/image/2wd9ly7no/
but i think 1-2 second difference not good .
That why we try to get it back . it just change by apple. maybe it good for people who use touchpad or andything i don't know.
but for me it difference. and have to change behavior hope it come back in next update

In Exposé in Snow Leopard at the low part of the screen, I could see all my hidden apps. In Mission Contrtol (Lion) I don't get to see the hidden apps. I've gone through all the system preferences and I did not see anything to be able to active it, I mean, to be able to see my hidden apps when I launch Mission Control.
Has anyone already solved this issue somehow?

Also you need to be in that app to bring up its minimised windows - which is irritating if you are using more than one app to manipulate files.

Hello All..Just installed LION On my 13' MBP...I have a small problem with the mission control...Previously, i have a hot corner set up which shows all the open windows at one time ( also shows the minimized ones)..but now, i can only see the the ones which are open....for example if i have chrome browser minimized , it is not showing....kind of very annoying....any one please help...Thanks

Missing minimized windows in Mission Control

Mission Control - in general - is something I like most about the new Mac OS Lion. But there is one thing missing:
since Mission Control attempts to give a total view of all desktops and all windows inside them or generally an overview of everything currently running, the minimized windows should definitely be part of Mission Control.
Since the minimized windows do not belong to a cerstain desktop, there should be a nice horizontal line at the bottom of the Mission Control overview and all the minimized windows under this line.
What do you think of it?

If you do not have the light in dock active, activate it, or slide three finger up to open Mission Control or in Force qQuit all open programs are listed (even the hidden ones).

Can't See All Windows in Mission Control

My favorite feature on the mac has always been the ability to see all open windows with a simple click (F3 on my keyboard). I often have multiple word documents and multiple pdf files open, as well as two or three different browser windows, several image files, and who knows what else. It is very common for me to have 10-20 open windows and it was always a huge help to be able to see them all at once, with filenames that would pop up when hovering with the mouse. This feature made it incredibly easy to move from file to file and truly see everything on the desktop at once.
As far as I can tell, this is no longer possible with Lion and Mission Control. Now if I have multiple windows open in a single application and enter Mission Control I see them tiled over one another, without filenames displayed for any. Sure, I can see all the applications I have open, but what good is that if I can't see which files I have? It's making it very difficult to work effectively-- basically I have to minimize each window one by one until I find the one I want.
Am I missing something? Can anyone using Lion tell me how to see a graphic representation of ALL open windows, with filenames? Like I could in the good old days? Or is there something like a "see all open files" ability in Finder?

To mitigate this problem there is "App expose" which lets you see all open windows for any given application.
And, in Mission Control you can spread a given application's windows a little further apart or you can preview any given window within Mission Control.
How you do all that stuff depends on how you've configured mouse, keyboard and trackpad. For example, on my trackpad, to spread MC windows a bit I slide two fingers up (with cursor over the group of windows). To preview a given window, I put the cursor over the window and hit the space bar. For me, App expose can be activated by 4 fingers down for the frontmost app, and four fingers down with the cursor over the chosen app in the dock.

Itunes can't see my apps after windows 7 install

I had a free upgrade to windows 7 with my laptop. I lost everything on itunes as a result. My itunes can see the iphone, but it doesnt recognise it as my iphone, so I can't see the apps etc on it.
How can I get itunes to recognise the iphone as mine again?

Click the Store menu>Authorize Computer
enter password and click Authorize
iTunes thinks this is a new computer after the upgrade to Windows 7.

Hi, I'm having an enourmous trouble with organizing my "recent" (rather ALL GOD **** WINDOWS!!!) documents in apps that support App Exposé. When I do the gesture with 4 fingers moving simoultanously down, it shows the currently opened window along with ALL THE WINDOWS I'VE EVER OPENED IN MY LIFE!!!!!!! Thank you very much for your concern! But I do actually know what the App Exposé is. But is it really supposed to show all the windows I've opened within the App in my whole life? When I do the gesture, it shows the opened windows, and beneath them is list of all the documents and windows I've ever opened. Most of them do not even exist anymore. I'd really like them to disappear. And by the way, thanks a lot for teaching me the Command + Tab movement, which brings me up to an another problem; how do I exactly get to know these kinds of gestures? Like… I know the Mission Control, the App Exposé and now I know the App Switcher. But how do I do other ones? If they are just text files, download TextWrangler which is a great free text editor, and it has an "Open Hidden…" option. Additionally, It will allow you to "unlock" system files, make modifications, and save using an admin username and password.
