How to see iPhoto images in finder?

How do I see iPhoto library images in Finder, and also how do I access iPhoto images to download them as album artwork in iTunes?

In general, you don't see the iPhoto images in the Finder. iPhoto replaces the Finder for everything you do with your images.

All My files is a "search folder"
it isn't real storage location. All files within your home folder are found by the criteria set for the search folder and displayed to you In one place.
If the folder doesn't meet your needs, remove it from the sidebar.

I upgraded to Maverick O/S and I can no longer right click on iPhoto images to find my photo files. My photo files are not where they were before upgrade.

iPhoto->:File->Export…. BTW, iPhoto and OS version would help; whereas, iOS version doesn't.

How to save iPhoto images on disc

Trying to save space on My HD, can't figure out how to save an album to a disc

after having used iPhoto 08 for a long time the link between the program and the source files broke. i have a hard time restoring the library. how can i import ALL images on my harddisc into iphoto? is there a function that scans and finds all images automatically?
You really would not want to do this - you would have a mess - many duplicates and lots of images that have nothing to do with photos
Tell us more about your problem - what is happening and how it occurred
Most likely you have all of your original Photos in the originals folder of your iPhoto library and simply quitting iPhoto, dragging the iPhoto library to the desktop, launching iPhoto and creating a new library and dragging each folder from the originals folder in your iPhoto library on the desktop onto the iPhoto icon in the dock (check to be sure that the iPhoto preference to split items imported from the finder is NOT checked) - this will recreate your events

Windows can do this, so I'm sure Mac must be able to ....
When I am viewing a list of jpegs in the finder, how can I see thumbnail versions of the images? Currently, all that's displayed is the jpeg icon.

If you have files that don't show a thumbnail icon, it may be that whatever program created the files didn't create a thumbnail image.
You can add the preview image quite easily using a program like
QuickImage (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19253)

However when I import photos from my iPhone, they appear in the iPhoto application but how do I view them in the finder so that I can easily view them as individual picture files on a PC?

You can not do that -- the iPhoto library must be on a volume formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and the PC can not read that - and iPhoto has no cross platform capability and the library is not designed for direct access - it is not supported
You neet to use a different program tha does have cross platform capability
Or you can export photos from iphoto and have them on the PC or a drive the PC can access

How to see all image file types when saving images without selecting "all files"

Hallo, and thank you fom reading.
I am a person who saves a lot of images online in different folders with different names like G - 456 or F - 35.
I have been using firefox 10.0.2 for a long time because of a bug (I guess) that made it easier to save images.
When I saved an image it would always show me all the image files in any folder I wanted to save it, and that way making it easier for me to save files with the right names.
Now with the newer firefox (currently 19.0) whenever I try to save a JPEG I only see the JPEG files in the folder and only way to see the others is by selecting "save as type" all files, but with this I also see all the files that are not images.
This used to save me a lot of trouble and a bit of time but I dont see anything in the options menu that can help me. Is there a way to recreate this function?

How to number iphoto images in continued sequence

Every roll I now download in iphoto (using iphoto 6) starts a new batch number, so when I transfer several images to desktop folder from different rolls, it says that I already have that number. I cannot replace it as it is a new image. And it does not allow to rename or re-number at that time. How do I set it to download new and added rolls but in continued sequential numbers? (eg. roll 1 in library would start at DSC 0001 and roll 345 starts downloading at DSC 0649?)

That's a setting on your camera It names (and numbers) the files.

I need to sort through numerous images, find duplicates and weed out poor ones. Preview doesn't seem very helpful for this.

Where are the photos? If they are in an app like iPhoto and Aperture then you need to be very careful.

How to insert iphoto image to a specific location?

My wife has written a long pages (5.5) document. She is now going through it and inserting images from iphoto via the media button. (Either just clicking the image, clicking and dragging, or command click dragging.) The problem is that the images insert in a random location, and then she has to drag them to the correct location, which is difficult (the random location can be many pages away from the correct location). Is there a way to insert it to the intended location straight away? She positions the cursor at the intended location before clicking media, but other than that, we can't think of what else to try. You can paste images into a PDF by using the "Paste Clipboard

I am a person who saves a lot of images online and renames them in different folders in different names like B - 34 or G - 56. I have been working with firefox 10 for quite some time and it had a pretty handy bug (I guess) where I could save an image and firefox would just save the image in it's original type (JPEG,PNG etc) while "save as type" was empty.
It also always has shown all the image types in the folder where I save the images (except for GIF) and that helpes me quite a lot by saving me the trouble of selecting "all files" every time I save or going to the folder to rename every image.
Now this seems to be lacking in the newest firefox versions and my question is if I can set firefox to always show me all the image file types when saving an image, instead of only showing JPEG's when I try to save a JPEG.

CS2 Camera Raw Problem - how to see my images?

A few weeks ago I had a complete PC failure and as a result I now have a new PC running Vista.
I have reloaded PS CS2, which is fine for all my needs but now I can't open my Camera Raw 2 files from my Canon 5D.
I realised that I had made an error when I downloaded the latest version of the CR Plug-in since that is not compatible with CS2.
so I replaced that version with Version 3.7.
Now when I use PS CS2 I get an error message as follows;
Unable to use the Camera Raw Plugin
It is not compatible with this version of Photoshop.
When I check in Help>About>PlugIn it either,
Shows two Camera Raw Plugins - Version 5.40.57 and Version 3.7
Or, if I delete the Camera Raw.8bi file from the CS2 PlugIn folder I am left with one CR PlugIn but it is always Version 5.40.57.
I know there should only be one CR PlugIn but how do I get it be the correct on i.e. Version 3.7?
I know I made a mistake downloading Verson 5.4 but how do I now correct this so that I can open and edit my .CR2 files?

You will be better off removing both plug-ins from both locations and then downloading ACR 3.7 from here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3582
and installing it, following the instructions exactly.
