You turn iCloud Photo Library on in Settings > iCloud > Photos. However it doesn't "empty" the pictures to the cloud. The most you can do to free up space using iCloud is to turn on Optimize Storage to keep a smaller device-sized version of the photos on your iPad. As far as I'm aware, it does not work with the USB port. You need to use HDMI.

New to the whole world of Apple, IOS etc. Recently bought the newly released iPad (iPad3). Right after purchase updated the iOS to 6, so its running the latest IOS. Setup my Yahoo Account & it works fine. But I can't see the contacts stored in yahoo Account in the contacts app of iPad. In iPad Settings-->Mail,Contacts,Messages-->Accounts-->Yahoo!--> Mail, Contacts, Calender, Reminders & Notes is set to ON.
Fetch New Data is set to ON. Push is set to ON. Fetch is set to Every 15 minutes. Under Advanced-->Yahoo-->Select Schedule : Fetch is checked.
However when I open the contacts App in iPad I cannot see the Contacts saved in Yahoo account. Can someone guide me on how to go about setting this up?

Once they are marked as junk, any future emails from them will be sent to the junk or spam folder, thus I will still be receiving emails from them, they a just routed to a different location in my email. If this is correct, I would like to completely block the email address and prevent them from sending me emails versus routing them to my junk box. For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page.
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

15. Restore iPad from Backup (computer)
16. See progress bar with estimated time (computer)
17. See Restore in Progress on iPad
18. See Apple logo
19. See Apple and Progress Bar
20. Slide to Unlock
21. Copying Apps back to iPad (computer)
22. You'll see Loading/Installing/Waiting below the Apps (iPad)

Hey everyone,
Newbie to PSE 8. How do I see a preview while Elements is rendering video? I'm used to other programs like Roxio Video Wave and Cyberlink Powerdirector showing the movie as it's being rendered.
Is there a way to turn this on in Elements? If so, how? I didn't see anything in the online help.

To further extend on your reply. If your unable to view the documents after you've linked iCloud to the local app on the iPad then see if you can view the document on https://www.icloud.com/#pages. If your unable to view the document there, then the document isn't in iCloud at the moment. You can simply drag the file onto the screen, and it should upload your document. After the document is visible on your iCloud.com the document will be viewable on all of your devices via the Pages app, when logged into your Apple ID.
